Negative experience: How many times do you have to complete the questionnaire prior to visiting My dentist. Well more than twice. After completing two questionnaires I was still asked by the receptionist to complete a questionnaire as they had no record of my replies to your two requests. Please assure that when I next complete a questionnaire it will be passed on to my Ely surgery. Thanks

Fantastic experience: I was greeted politely on arrival in reception and directed to the relevant waiting area. I was called through to the surgery promptly on my appointment time. Everything was explained to me and I was given some advice to help with my dry mouth symptoms. I am not a great fan of the dentist ( who is?) but found the whole experience easy. All the staff were polite & friendly.

Fantastic experience: I had a very good experience getting my implant put in. The staff were friendly and professional. Dom the dentist explained the procedure so that I was aware what I will feel and during procedure and he made sure that I was pain free and relaxed as he played my favourite songs by ABBA . The procedure took about 30 minutes and at the end of the appointment I was explained the aftercare. Thank you to all staff present.

Fantastic experience: Over the past couple months after as many years not having been to dentist, due to period of Covid and mostly nervousness despite being a ex-paratrooper I finally plucked up courage to go again as was aware of a few issues developing. So glad I did. My dentist is Dr Ana Claudia Soares. ❤️ As a nervous patient it took a lot for me to go. Ana is amazing. Just had two back teeth extracted and despite the nervous tension I personally felt, this procedure with Dr Soares, was quick, painless and most of all relief! Negative experience: Was told I was going for an cray and cleaning, ended up just getting a simple 2 minute x-ray for £75 and asked if I want cleaning for an extra £62, dk t let them rip you off

This does not include a scale and polish as this would need to be booked with a hygienist as a private treatment, the details for all treatments are available on our website.

Luis is a genius, he’s such a brilliant dentist, he fixed a broken veneer and made it look good as new and it cost hundreds less than I thought it would. The reception staff are fantastic, they’re all so lovely and very friendly. I would recommend this practice to anyone, it really is affordable dental care. I will certainly continue to use this dental practice.

Negative experience: I’ve had 2 scale and polish now from 2 different hygienists and after both, my gums have been too sore. In my opinion, they aren’t very gentle at all and I’m actually in excruciating pain whilst having the procedure- it’s very uncomfortable and painful and at the time it seems silly asking them to stop. It seems careless and rushed. I’m left with sore, bleeding gums afterwards. My gums are all cut. Cleans aren’t supposed to be excruciating… I take good care of my teeth and gums and each time I’ve been told it’s not ‘normal’ for my gums to bleed so much during a clean… I think the excessive bleeding is down to how rough they are prodding my gums! I floss and on routine check up I was recommended satin tape but now I’ve been told not to use it because of the condition of my gums??? It’s a shame because the dentists and reception are lovely but I shouldn’t be scared of having a routine clean. Please be more gentle!

Dr Borges is very caring and always asks during the procedure how you are. His nurse is also lovely. I totally recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment with Srishti at chequer lane recently. I have had her for just over a year now and she is just amazing. I’m now very confident to go to the dentist as she knows what she’s doing and how to make me feel better whereas before I was nervous to go. She is very knowledgeable and has great communication so you know what is going on. Her assistant Annabelle is also so lovely and knows what she’s doing. I’m so happy with all the work Srishti has done for me to bring back my confidence in my smile.

Fantastic experience: The staff are very welcoming and my dentist and assistant staff are just full of smiles ( lovely teeth ) they made me feel un-judged as I'm embarrassed about my teeth. Fantastic experience: I attended the Chequer Lane dental practice today to receive my dental implant. Prior to the appointment I was feeling somewhat anxious. However my fears were unfounded. I was greeted cheerfully at reception and once in the treatment room i was looked after with exceptional courtesy and kindness. I was even asked what music I would playing while I was having the implant fitted. My treatment was both professional and caring and I was delighted at the whole experience. Everything was explained throughout and I left feeling really pleased with the first class service I had received. Thank you so much. Brad.
