Fantastic experience: I came to this practice as I needed specialist treatment which my regular dentist was unable to carry out. I saw Andy who immediately put me at ease and talked me through the procedure. I felt so comfortable with Andy and the practice that I after my treatment was complete I moved practice and registered as a patient with him.

Fantastic experience: I’m very nervous at the dentist like many others. Mena always keeps me at ease and calm and friendly environment is perfect. I would highly recommend this practice

I find I am always treated courteously and the work done is thorough but comfortable. I had several treatments in my first year with Thackerays and the quality is of a standard I had not experienced for many years. An excellent dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I have honestly not been to the Dentist for many years. Had a bad experirnce. I visited Thackeray's dental today and I was so pleased I had to write a review immediately. Called because I got lost and Heather from reception was so helpful, even coming outside to give me directions. Dentist Mena, though he's younger, he is an example of what Dentists should be like - thorough, professional, knowledgeable but still compassionate. I must mention too the office was so clean and comfortable and no long waiting. If you need a Dentist with no frills and "troubles" this is the place for you..

Fantastic experience: This is a beautiful dental surgery and all of the staff ate lovely and very helpful. My two girls ask lots of questions and Mr Basillous could not be more accommodating . They love looking at the sugar poster too!

No matter what the issue is (and sometimes it's parking not teeth) there is always someone there to help. The atmosphere is friendly, inviting and calm. Everyone is willing to chat or listen. Fantastic experience: Andy is a 5 star dentist, plus Lisa the hygenist. Does not feel like going to yhr dentist. Reception staff are top notch.

Negative experience: I phoned thackerays dentist on Tuesday looking for a examination and a referral to a dental technician. Within seconds of explaining what I wanted to the person who answered the phone, she started coughing, I could hear another person in the background laughing and then she started laughing. This is not professional, I told her this, it made me feel embarrassed that I needed to have a partial denture. I got no apology, and no explanation. If it had been me in the receptionist would have apologise, ask if I could phone them back, had a drink of water and then phoned them back when composed. If this is the first point of contact at this dentist which isn’t obviously professional, what are the dentists like. I told her how I felt and thought she was laughing at me, she tried to pass it off and I hung up. This receptionist is disgusting. It’s alright to say they need re training, but she needs a warning and monitoring to ensure it never happens ever again. Needless to say I’m booked into another dentist, this woman lost the practice more money than her daily wage. DISGUSTING.

Fantastic experience: After trying to get to the dentist with the NHS for 3 years, I decided to try private for myself and my 2 young boys. SO happy I did! The team at Thackeray's really looked after us, Rich did a brilliant job keeping us all comfortable, and explained every step. Lauren did a great job polishing my teeth and didn't patronise me when she explained how to floss and brush correctly. Sam made us all feel so welcome and did a fantastic job entertaining the boys whilst I had my treatment. Shelley, Suzanne, and Jo on reception were more than helpful, kind and polite. Seeing Eleanor, Meg, Daisy and the rest of the team entertain the boys whilst I was paying the balance and booking our next appointment really showed me the personal touch private dentistry can offer. I had not been to the dentist for 16 years, and was extremely apprehensive (and embarrassed) though the work has been completed to such a high standard and my self confidence has gone through the roof since being sorted! I LOVE MY NEW SMILE! I cannot recommend Thackeray's any more than I already do to anybody that talks about teeth!

I have had work done on my teeth by the nhs in the past and each time I have seen someone different. The work they they have carried out on my teeth had been satisfactory. I made the decision to find a decent dentist for me and my husband. Thackeray is outstanding. The moment you walk in the staff are so friendly and helpful. If I’m struggling to park they have permits that you can use. Andy my dentist is just amazing. He is incredible patient and knowledgeable and he is just amazing helping me look after my teeth. He is so friendly and puts me at ease as soon as I walk in. I am so happy we made the decision to use Thackeray dentist. It really is a brilliant dentist.
