Fantastic experience: Changed to this dentistry in 2001, it’s the best decision I’ve made . Everyone at the practice is friendly and cheerful , Natalie the hygienist is very informative with what is going on and puts you at ease and Genevieve the dentist is very professional and informs you of everything that is happening with a professional manner. Would advise anyone who is looking for a new dentist to try crown street.

I feel fortunate to have all my own teeth still - and though not the most beautiful - they are sturdy and healthy. I reason that's due to their expertise and care. I would not go anywhere else.

An exceptionally caring and friendly practice which offers a full range of dental services with outstanding professionalism, as well as prices which are MUCH lower than they would be in London. I travel out from London to Brentwood now because I know that I will get the highest standard of care from Damian (dentist) and Danielle (hygienist) and my mouth is in much better shape since I started going there. They really care about their patients as people, not just their dental health - my other half says she must be one of the few people who actually looks forward to going to the dentist because she knows how much they care about her. It is also one of the cleanest places I've ever been in, invariably punctual, has a particularly efficient IT booking system and Sharon and Claire, who share the front desk duties, seem to know and be friends with all the patients.

Fantastic experience: I have been using this dental practice for about 3 years. The staff are polite, friendly and helpful and Genevieve Edwards is an excellent dentist. My most recent treatment, to bond 4 front teeth, has achieved the desired cosmetic effect. She was, as usual, painstaking and careful. I am very pleased with the outcome. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: A friend recommended Crown Street for Invisalign as she was delighted with her results. I’m thrilled with my results so far (3 months left) and so pleased that I chose Crown St for my Invisalign. Genevieve, my dentist, has been excellent throughout. Very thorough and explains every part of the process (which is painless by the way). She’s also got some banging 80’s music on in the background!! Claire her assistant has been great too. In addition to Invisalign I have also used the hygienist, Jenny. My teeth have never been better. Highly recommend both the clinic and the people.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending the Crown Street Dental for a number of years and the quality of their dental care is excellent. My most recent appointment was with a hygienist. I had never had this particular hygienist before but, like all the others, she was kind, considerate and showed true expertise and knowledge. Like most people, visits to the dentist are never top of the list of fun things to do but this practice is the best I have ever found.

Negative experience: Once and never again. Called up to ask if they have available appointment for wisdom tooth removal. Receptionist advised that will need to come in to meet a TCO first for scan then only the second appointment will be with dentist to have the tooth removed. Took £20 deposit to have the first appointment booked. Went in the next week, spent 45 mins doing a scan and Xray. TCO said will speak to dentist to see if they can do it in-house or need to refer to hospital. After 15 mins wait again, TCO came back saying will book for the next appointment. We asked if the next appointment will get the tooth removed, if not there is no point of booking another appointment for nothing. She said not sure as dentist needs to speak to another dentist so if it can't be happened, will call to let me know. Then charged another £35 for the Xray (with £20 deposit they hold). I left the practice and went back after 2 mins asking about the £55 charge breakdown, another lady in reception said it's £10 charge of emergency plus Xray. When I queried again via email, they said there was no emergency charge and the £55 was for Xray (their website listed £65 for pan oral Xray). After some days, got an email saying the second appointment is the full examination which costs £95. Only AFTER the examination, they'll be able to tell if the wisdom tooth can be done at the practice. So, it costs £55 for Xray, £95 full examination (when they could have just done this one at the beginning), then they will tell you if they can do their job or not which will cost another £150-300 for wisdom tooth removal. I cancelled the second booking, booked £75 flight ticket to Greece on the weekend and spent 25 euros to had it removed in less than 10 mins. The practice here just caused me more stressed and headache when all I wanted is just to have the chipped wisdom tooth removed!

Fantastic experience: I had a couple of fillings recently, didn't feel a thing (which was a first) really impressive. From the friendly and efficient staff to the expertise of Dr Genevieve Edwards, overall a great experience and treatment.

I had a very rude experience where staff do not take into account a person's situation and would rather charge their customers a extortionate amount. It is a shame really as the woman who owns the practice Genevieve I believe ? Is a world class dentist, however her staff have failed to up hold her reputation for her practice.
