Fantastic experience: I came in today needing a complicated wisdom tooth extraction and needed two fillings and was quite nervous going into it like most. Dentist Nick Kazem and dental nurse Anu were excellent and made me feel completely at ease and were very professional. They managed to do everything efficiently and with care. Great communication, expert dentistry and I will definitely come back!! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I'm reviewing the hygienist appointment I had on 25/05/25, with Kendal Williamson and her assistant, Sarah. They were both excellent and worked well together. They were very friendly and made light-hearted conversation, while at the same time being properly professional and practising high standards of clinical care. They skilfully avoided causing me any discomfort during my treatment and Kendal was very thorough in checking my oral health. I also appreciated the very good care and advice I received from Elwira and her dental nurse on the same day. Elwira, too, is very careful and thorough in her examination and I appreciate how she will suggest treatment options but is always clear whether the treatment is optional, or needed and recommended. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I am usually a very anxious patient and was hesitant to have to attend the dentist. From my first visit Nick and his lovely nurse Amber quickly put me at ease. I had three fillings done today and can say I had absolutely no pain during the whole visit ! Throughout the whole appointment I was put at ease. Would definitely recommend anyone to visit this dental practice.

Fantastic experience: From initial enquiries, to registering, to then booking and visiting the whole experience couldn't have been dealt with anymore efficiently. Nothing was too much trouble and Lee on reception went above and beyond for us arranging everything and her communication was exceptional. The dentist Nick and his nurse Anu were simply superb, they were thorough and sympathetic to the patient and were excellent at keeping him settled and calm. Explaining every step of the way what was happening. Cannot recommend these guys highly enough.

I was very nervous going in due to previous painful experiences at the dentist, but it was completely painless! I can honestly say that it was the most comfortable dental experience I’ve ever had. I've been going to this practice since it started in St. James's Lane and had several dentists who have all moved on so I'm hoping Elwira will stay until she retires. All staff at reception are lovely too.

Fantastic experience: Had root canal yesterday with Matthew Nowak and his dental nurse Chloe. They were so kind and reassuring as I was very nervous. Didn’t feel a thing and was very comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Just completed a course of treatment with Nick, ably assisted by different dental nurses. Everything clearly explained and injections given to numb the sensitive areas. Very happy with the work carried out, even if I’m pleased I don’t have to return for another six months!

Fantastic experience: I am a very nervous dental patient and get very anxious about any work. I had to have a crown recently and Nicholas (dentist) and Clare (nurse) were really excellent. Clare held my hand at the beginning until I relaxed a bit, reminded me throughout to keep breathing through my nose, and was very reassuring. Nicholas did the work in short bursts, and stopped whenever I raised my hand. I found I relaxed much more than usual - and was then much less nervous about the second session. This is real progress for me. They are both kind, patient centred, and professional. Thank you both.

Fantastic experience: My on going treatment with my dentist Elwira & dental nurse Mohammed is first class. Elwira understands my fear & has treated me with kindness & care. She's never dismissed my feelings or concerns. It's great to have Mohammed say to me I'm doing well & are you ok, I'm given a soft plastic tooth to play/fiddle with, as that helps me with my anxiety, I'm that patient that literally shakes from start to finish while in the chair!! I would 100% recommend this dental surgery.

With two hygienist sessions with James Ernest who is amazing, super friendly and always informative and gentle with my teeth. Both Matt and Nick have been super friendly and you can tell that everyone who works here is amazing at their jobs!

He was kind, skilful, informative, thorough, educational and managed to make my teeth look amazing without any pain. His assistant, Mohammed, was also excellent. Of course, this service is expensive but I would highly recommend this hygienist.

Fantastic experience: I had composite bonding with Dr Nicholas Kazem and it changed the look of my smile completely! I was very insecure of my teeth before and this has given me so much more confidence! His dental nurse Jade was also lovely, making sure I was okay throughout my appointment.

Positive experience: I am very satisfied with the advice given to me by my dentist. She is gentle, kind and gives me good advice. She checks each time that I’m doing what should be done to keep my teeth and gums healthy.

Fantastic experience: After being unable to see anybody at my old practice in a long time, I went to see the hygienist (Hannah) and dentist (Nick) at Bupa in preparation for my wedding and I am so glad I did. I had a painless cavity which has been filled before it has caused any other problems. Hannah did an airflow treatment and I had my teeth 3D scanned to make a whitening tray too. Both were excellent at explaining all my options and made me so comfortable. I am so so happy with the outcome!

Everyone was so friendly, and it really felt like they went the extra mile to ensure I was taken care of. Hannah (hygienist) introduced me to a new technology they now offer at the practice called Airflow. This innovative system completely changed the typical cleaning experience. I’ve always dreaded cleanings because of the pain, but Airflow was completely different. It was quick, gentle, and effective — no discomfort at all! I really appreciated how attentive Hannah was throughout the process. It’s clear that this practice is focused on providing the best care for their patients, so I would highly recommend!

They were really good recently when my daughter (who was really nervous) needed a little filling. Andreana and the nurse were both so lovely to her and kept her at ease. Fantastic experience: I started my teeth straightening journey at Bupa Demtal Care Winchester very soon after I had my MS diagnosis. I had spent most of that year in hospital, feeling extremely unwell and having no contact with anyone apart from my close family, doctors and nurses. During this time I was not being listened to by medical professionals on how I felt, this didn’t make me feel good. I began to feel very low and even struggled to look at people, let alone talk, I was very anxious and nervous. The day I came in for my first appointment I felt scared, It was the first time I had left house to do something other than my treatment. Cara and Angus instantly made me feel at ease. Cara had the kindest smile and made me feel better. Angus made sure I was the priority in that appointment, he listened to me, was kind and patient, and for the first time in so long, I felt my voice was actually heard! Thank you so much, you haven’t just given me amazing straight teeth, you have also been apart of my journey in recovering.

Fantastic experience: I was so nervous to go to the dentist (had been putting it off for ages!) but both Nick and Claire were so great at putting me at ease and talking me through everything as they went. I had my first filling and it was SO easy! Getting my teeth whitened now and Nick walked me through the instructions really carefully, so I can do it at home gradually and safely over the next few weeks. Highly recommend. Fantastic experience: The staff are always helpful and understanding and in particular I would like to compliment Sarah and Claire. In addition the care and skill I receive from Ed Boursin is exemplary and I will always be grateful for his professionalism over the years. He must be one of the best implant dentists in the Country.

Fantastic experience: It's a great practice, the staff are always friendly. The only downside is that their nhs dentists never stay long, they either move on or join the private sector.

Negative experience: A great dental visit today. Hygienist James excelled again. But the central heating at BUPA Dental Winchester was voracious. Staff sitting in Tee shirts to keep cool. “Oh but BUPA pay for it”. I said, no they don’t, I do! It was quite likely 25 degrees. Global warming all forgotten about. Oh come on BUPA let’s get real and drop the heating temp and then the fees too. Oh and the front door light was left blazing at 2.15pm too.

Fantastic experience: I had been waiting for a sedation appointment for an extraction for my infected wisdom tooth, but I couldn't get in until 19th January 2025. I was in so much pain I called the dentist. I spoke to a wonderful caring receptionist who managed to get me a same day emergency appointment. Unfortunately, I can't recall her name. I was seen by Neegha Thapa and her so patient nurse Mohammad Yaqoobi. They put me at ease straight away, I didn't need any kind of sedation. They managed to extract my tooth with great care and speed. I have always received excellent care and empathy, and I couldn't recommend this practice enough. The whole team should be very proud of their service. Well done.. from a very grateful patient

Negative experience: I’m in pain and had booked an appointment, which was confirmed with me three times over the phone. However, they canceled on the fourth call and offered another appointment a week later, despite me explaining that I’m in severe pain. I’m deeply disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Nick is an amazing dentist and he made sure that I am completely involved in the treatment plan. I had 4 new crowns and whitening, he has done great job.

Fantastic experience: I was lucky to scoop up a cancellation with Wendy the hygienist. Well, WOW, what an incredible experience. Admittedly my teeth were in need, but we kicked ourselves that we didn’t do a before and after. The results were amazing. Wendy took the time to explain the options, and then used the latest and greatest tech to sparkle my teeth. They looked like I’d had a course of whitening. Her and Anna make a super team. I’ll be back in six months and I’ll be sending my family and friends in the meantime.

Fantastic experience: I had orthodontic work completed by my dentist Nicholas Kassam in November 2023. I had sustained trauma to my front teeth in my early 20's which cause tooth distortion which prevented me from wanting to smile. Consenting to the work took a few years, as cost always was a factor. Nick, listened and came up with a simpler treatment option that improved my tooth alignment and smile which kept the cost down. He explained that it may only be temporary and that a more robust bridge treatment may be necessary in the future, but I went ahead. Now, 6 months on at my recent check up, he assessed the teeth and indicated that the orthodontic work was sound and should last indefinitely. Thanks Nick, I am delighted that I can smile and laugh with confidence again.

Negative experience: Lovely reception staff. The Dental staff chop and change appointments at a whim with no consideration that their customers have working lives as well.

Negative experience: If I could give 0 would, my daughter went for emergency appt today at marlfield house with what she thought was wisdom tooth pain, had an xray and was told by dentist she needed a specialist, she then was sent all the way to Andover to have it taken out, the dentist at Andover then explained it wasn't her wisdom tooth but a nasty infection in her molar. The dentist told her he couldn't do it as he hadn't done a root canal in 9 years, I'm so disguised with the service of both surgeries .what on earth are dentists doing these days, considering what they are paid, not a great deal.

Fantastic experience: My dental care is in Winchester practice. My dental professional is very approachable and I feel included in all decisions regarding my teeth and gums. The reception staff are so helpful top. I definitely less nervous and anxious about going to the dentist as a result.
