Negative experience: Disappointed with response during emergency: I cracked a tooth and visited Bupa Dental on an emergency basis, only to be referred to another practice for extraction. The other practice said they could consider me for an NHS cancellation if I shared the referral, so I called Bupa back to request it. I was told to make an advance payment before they could issue the referral, even though the other practice didn’t require any payment. I paid the fee, but now can’t even reach reception to follow up. I was told NHS referrals “take a few days,” yet it feels like if it were private, things would move much faster. I’ve been left in severe pain with no clarity on what’s happening — very disappointing service when urgent help was needed most.

Negative experience: I have been to this practice a few times but will be registering elsewhere. Today I was quoted £300 for a job another dentist priced at £30. I also once was charged £200 more than initially quoted without any explanation as to why the cost had gone up so dramatically. No problems with the dental work done, but the pricing is clearly extortionate.

Negative experience: No concept of time keeping - I was seen nearly 60minutes after when my appointment time

Negative experience: I had an extraction on my big tooth on the 16th September 2025. It was a terrible experience. Dr Roshni Patel didn’t put enough anaesthetic in and it was a painful experience. I told her to stop when the pain was unbearable, but she didn’t. The area was infected. I called for a prescription of antibiotics early morning on the 19th, but the receptionist told me that Dr Roshni Patel was not in, I need to pay for an emergency appointment to get the prescription. How ridiculous. There is no care whatsoever in the practice.

Negative experience: The stars are to express my dissatisfaction with the care I received during my recent appointment with Dr Yasmeen Ramjohn. My appointment started 40 minutes late. When I was finally seen, I was informed that I could not have my filling done on the same day and would need to rebook another appointment.I told her I am going on holiday . It was clear this decision was made to avoid further delays for the next patient, despite the fact that the procedure would have only taken around 30 minutes. Instead, I was given a temporary filling, which Dr Ramjohn knew would not last long. Unfortunately, I am now on holiday and the temporary filling has already fallen out, leaving me in significant pain and discomfort. This could have been avoided if the filling had been completed during my initial appointment.

Negative experience: While my treatment was satisfactory, I am unable to get through to this reception as they do not return calls, voicemails or mail. It is for this reason I was struck off their register, it is impossible to get through to them to make them aware of any changes in appointment times.

Fantastic experience: Been with this surgery for over 7year and highly recommend!!! My dentist Dr Shivani Patel is amazing!! I’ve have a lot of anxiety with dentists but she makes me feel so calm. Highly skilled and very attentive to my needs. Explains in detail the X-rays and procedures so there are no surprises. She always does the best for me, I don’t feel just like another patient. I wouldn’t trust anyone else… always will be thankful!! When I seen Dental Nurse Pardip Kaur assisting her again I feel like this is going to be a good appointment. They work amazing together and I always feel at ease. You can see the years of experience. Receptionists are lovely, always so polite and happy to help.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had fantastic service with this dental practice today. I broke a tooth last night and left a voicemail first thing this morning, seeking an emergency appointment. Dawn, the receptionist, called me first thing explaining my dentist wasn’t working today, and that she’ll ask the dentist who was. I received a call shortly after and she kindly squeezed me in. Yasmin the dentist and Sabrina, the dental nurse, treated me with empathy and the best care I could ask for. My problem was resolved within 30 minutes. It’s as if nothing ever happened. Thank you to all involved, it really was excellent service from front of house to treatment completed.
