Fantastic experience: Recently moved to the area, and decided to try this surgery for a checkup for my wife and me. From first contact with reception, through to initial consultation, then diagnostics for me, we've just had our first real sessions. My wife was very nervous about needing a filling replaced, but she was very happy that Meera treated her extremely gently and carefully and is all smiles! I needed an extraction, and being very old the tooth was brittle and difficult to remove. But Meera was up for the challenge and is so skilful and reassuring that the job was soon done. I've had two phone calls since to check I'm OK, which is lovely. So, to sum up, if you want professional, compassionate and caring treatment, this is the place!

Fantastic experience: Great and honest dental treatment from Nix. Brought my 86 year old father to see Nix after another dental practice wanted to do Route Canal work at considerable cost and my father has muliple complicated medical conditions. Nix did a thorough assessment and took x-rays and scans, then explained the results in layperson terms. He did not find any reson for my father to have treatment as there was no underlying problems. We would like to thank him for his honesty and integrity in this matter and my father was more than happen to book in a see Nix for his next checkup. Many thanks Maurice

Fantastic experience: As soon as you arrive at the dental surgery the receptionist is welcoming and extremely accommodating. Meera, the dentist and her dental nurse are both lovely and also welcoming. They immediately put you at ease and take interest in your wellbeing. Meera is very gentle, informative and has an extremely caring nature. I cannot recommend this surgery enough. All my family attend including my 99 year old nan, who is given five star treatment every time.

Fantastic experience: Had root canal surgery performed by Christina Kotsiopoulou who specialises in this treatment, therefore has years of experience. Have been back twice to check progress and all is virtually back to normal. Was dreading this lengthy operation, however had absolutely nothing to worry about. Not only is she very skilled, but also has a calming manner. This clinic has all modern equipment along with a great team of highly trained dentist. Nix is my dentist. He's very gentle and thorough. Never have to worry about pain which has always been a concern at previous. Fees are not the cheapest, however you are in the hands of professionals, not drill and fill, bodge it and scarper merchants!

Fantastic experience: As always the service I receive from this practice is first class, from the friendly receptionist to my dentist Nix Shah, who is very courteous, efficient & professional. I was surprised however to note that the price of my regular check up & clean had increased from £75 to £90 ... a 20% increase .. which is a lot considering that inflation is under 10%. I won't go anywhere else but as the practice asked for feedback here it is.

After not visiting a dentist in 10+ years, I can honestly say that my care has been exemplary, right from my first nervous (and in pain!) phone call, to my final (of 6) appointment (until my check up in 6 months) last week. Negative experience: Do not go to this dentist unless you want to pay massively over the odds for your treatment, I received a quote of £1800 at this practice which seemed abit high for what I needed doing, I went an got a secondary quote else where which came back at just under £950 for the exact same treatment plan.

I received a re assuring pleasant welcome by the Team at Wheathampstead Dental Surgery on my first visit. I then received excellent treatment for a filling and crown with Dr Meera Shah, who was delightful, meticulous in her skills and her attention to detail has completely restored my confidence. The Dental Nurse was also lovely and her attention to detail was very re assuring in her supporting role to Dr Shah. Thank you again.

Her treatment was carried out very professionally by Arjun who showed magnificent patience, empathy and understanding of her needs. Mel on reception was also kind to her and coped admirably with all the difficulties associated with such a frail and mentally 'lost' old lady. I am grateful to the team at this surgery.

Fantastic experience: I'm not a dentist but I find the dental care excellent. Up to date, thorough and non-stressy. Meera is so gentle and precise that I _never_ feel any discomfort. Everyone in the practice is lovely - I quite like it when my check-up is due because it's like visiting family (but without the arguments). :-)
