Fantastic experience: I really appreciate everything this dentist has done for me especially as a NHS patient. The staff and receptionist are really polite and especially Maryam Tariq. I was in a lot of pain with toothache and wisdom teeth problem she really helped me out. She also explains everything very clearly and makes sure Im in no pain whilst doing work on me. As a patient who had a past of an unprofessional dentist I recommend Mydentist the most . Always giving out appointment reminders and are always respectful

His gentle approach and genuine care take all the stress out of visiting the dentist. He doesn’t rush, he listens, and he gets the job done perfectly every time. You leave not just with your problem solved, but with complete confidence in his work. I would recommend him 110% — if I could give more stars, I would!

Fantastic experience: Trying to find an NHS dentist was a pain at short notice so decided I need a tooth out and went private. First time at this practice. Was very impressed with the friendly staff and atmosphere. Over the years I have been to many dentist all had problems taking my teeth out due to small mouth and multiple roots in some cases I ended up in hospital having them done because the dentist at the time couldn’t get them out. So I was dreading going due to the problems and it taking 30+ mins to get a tooth out. Well a very nice dentist Miguel welcomed me to the practice I explained the situations problems etc, he made me feel at ease and after injections to numb the area the tooth was out all don’t within 10 mins or less no pain no trouble I was amazed. It was the most pleasant dentist extraction I had ever had. I would definitely go there again. No complications after and within less than 24 hours I was back to normal eating drinking and no pain. The cost for extraction was reasonable considering the pain I was in. Definitely recommend this service and the nice dentist who did the extraction.

Fantastic experience: Needed a lot of treatment recently some emergency and some planned staff are very helpful and professional. The emergency dentist I think was Alex was so caring and helpful and removed my tooth and following a stay in hospital having been intubated lost a filling during surgery and some tooth. Corrina was so caring and ensuring that I was in no pain had all the time in the world and made it a pleasant experience. Reception staff and dental nurses are also very professional and pleasant well done keep up the good work

Fantastic experience: Had my crown cemented today with Mazzen, he is very professional and polite, he takes care of you and takes time to explain everything without rushing you. The receptionists are all lovely. I would highly recommend going here, i live in great Harwood and have been here over 1’year due to the great level of customer service and after care provided. My previous dentist in great Harwood were horrible and very poor customer support.

Fantastic experience: My Dentist in Oswaldtwistle. Fantastic people. I had an appointment in June 2025, and this was with Owais and Rachel. Honestly I can say hand on heart the best treatment given over and beyond. Good to see Rachel being a great sidekick, very easy-going and cheerful. Owais, what can I say. What a great guy. Keep him here he is a Gem of asset to My dentist in Oswaldtwistle. Big shout out to both of them. Receptionist are also very friendly and extremely helpful.

All the staff are very pleasant & helpfull.Waiting area is & clean tidy. I have been attending My Dentist for my years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Topmarks for service during covid.I can highly recommend Mr Miguel Jose Carvalho . He has a very calming professional approach. Update 26.6.2025. Tooth extraction done smoothly with care and consideration throughout. New denture fitted same day. Very pleased with results. As always Miguel Jose Carvalho provided excellent dental service.

Negative experience: Just go to a different dentist, they have taken my money in multiple occasions and planned work then when on the days I go in to get it done they say they can’t do it . Also said they will get back to me through message or phone and never do ! This has happened multiple times now and I am just left with no help

Fantastic experience: Given an urgent appointment same day I rang(also have in the past). Listened to by staff treated with compassion gentleness and care,advised and referred on. Each step was explained to me in a professional manner. I've found all staff at this dentist approachable and friendly and excellent practitioners and receptionists. Fantastic experience: Love love love this dentist. The team here are absolutely brilliant at what they do. They genuinely care about their patients. Iv had a life long phobia of the dentist and through this, have suffered pain, loss of teeth and fear of making an appointment. I took the plunge with this dentist after reassurance of how well i would be treated. Empathy, compassion and understanding helped me through my appointment. Fast forward 2 years I have had the best patient care and now look forward to going. The whole team are amazing. Down to earth, friendly and you can tell they really care about how you feel and will accommodate. They reassured me and made me feel at ease. I know that when I go, I am in the best hands possible. Fantastic experience: I can't recommend this dentist enough, my 4yr old son had his tonsils out and developed tooth ache we couldn't go the dentist for 3 weeks due to his recovery from operation which resulting in him have severe tooth ache which resulted in abscesses. Over the period of 4 weeks he was at the dentist at least twice a week for treatment of abcesses and teeth extraction. Firstly the reception team and dental nurses where amazing they would try their best to get him an appointment and always address him when he went for his appointment. It became a running joke that he was going to get invited to Christmas do he was there that much. Nothing was ever to much for them in making him feel comfortable. The dentist Miguel and Katy are out of this world, there patience with him was second to none. They fully explained everything they were doing and gave him time to ask questions. He was so comfortable with them that he allowed them to fill a tooth and extract a tooth. We still have a long way to go as he has a few more poorly teeth and when the time comes to sort them out there will be no where else that we would go. Thank you to the mydentist team you are simply amazing

Corina is also very polite to the dental nurses who are sometimes training with her. Thank you for setting a great standard, receptionists have also been great and dental nurses.

Fantastic experience: Needed an appointment for a damaged tooth and the emergency appointment with my own dentist was full the day I called. The receptionist was helpful and said if there were any cancellations she would call. Next day I was booked in at 2.30 very apt as my tooth did hurty. Mr. Carvelleo was wonderful as always. The tooth needed to come out and he put me at ease and kept asking if I was OK throughout. Good advice for aftercare and great reception staff can't fault a thing.

My most recent visit was with Malek and he was very professional and answered all my questions about toothpastes, tooth brushes and teeth whitening. Malek didn’t try to be pushy and sell me anything just made me aware of the practices services that they offer. Highly recommended, 10/10.

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting treatment of paying customers.... I've been going to this practice for over 50 years when it was owned by a lovely couple called Geoff and Pat Garnett, they knew how to treat people who were suffering in pain with compassion and care. Unfortunately times have changed and in my opinion MyDentist are more about how much money they can take off you and put you through the mill whilst doing it... I have just had a nightmare with a broken tooth and whilst the Malek the dentist refused to take it out as I was flying abroad in a weeks time telling me that it might bleed badly and maybe might break off leaving me in hospital but luckily dentist Karina came to the rescue two days later after severe pain and extracted the tooth with no problems... I am now back from holiday and have enquired about a partial denture that Karina said she could do as she takes care of my wife's teeth but then only to be told by Rachel in reception that she had no right to say that. I havent got a clue how they run the practice there but told Rachel I wanted to complain to the manager after being left feeling very unhappy with the service they provide only to be told by Abbie the manager that I would be receiving a zero tolerance email to cover their backs. This practice has actually owed me money on my account for a while now and I have never complained but yet they can charge you again for another check up at the drop of a hat. How nice is that and what great service, you should be ashamed how you treat customers that are in pain, its not as if they even want to be there is it...

Fantastic experience: I recently attended this dentist, as my denture had broken and needed replacing. I asked if this could be done ASAP (due to going on holiday). The dentist (Miguel) said it could be done in 4 weeks and he was correct!! I picked them up on Friday, the service has been outstanding. The surgery staff are all excellent and friendly, reception is fantastic. I have nothing but praise for everyone I have dealt with and given that I have an overt fear of dentists, this review proves just how good the service has been!! 5 stars!!!

Because of a horrible experience at my previous dentist, I had no dentist for 2 years or so and was scared of going to another dentist. My Dentist staff, reception to the dentist were very friendly and welcoming. My dentist was very professional, calming and put me at ease. My dentist explained the whole procedure in an understanding manner and kept checking I was ok during the treatment. The treatment I received was very professional. I went in with excruciating pain and thought I'd lose my teeth. I felt so much better and pain free straight after my treatment and now able to eat properly again and there is hope that my dentist will be able to save my teeth.
