Fantastic experience: Simply the best! From the staff on reception through to the dental nurses and dentists, they are all kind, professional and go the extra mile. My husband is terrified of the dentist and Adam Baxter is the only dentist he will see. He has such a lovely disposition and instantly makes you feel at ease. They go above and beyond, fitting you in when you have an emergency and they even called to say my little girl had left her lip gloss there and they were worried she would miss it. In terms of dental work, they are a cut above the rest, they deserve to do well in a world when people rarely go above and beyond these days!

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed with the service at Ashby Dental. I booked a hygienist appointment two weeks ago, took time off work, and rearranged my morning to attend — only to be told on arrival that I couldn't be seen without a prior dentist referral, which I was never informed about. This could and should have been flagged at the time of booking or at any point in the two weeks since. The earliest they could offer to fix their mistake was over an hour later, wasting even more of my time and money. Very poor communication and dreadful customer service. I won’t be returning.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at this clinic for a very long number of years - I have always received excellent care and service. This week they have gone above and beyond. Yes I pay a monthly Denplan subscription and most patients would expect good service. However, on Tuesday I rang in a panic because I had bitten something hard which then caused a tooth to become loose. I phoned up and was seen the same day with a treatment plan put in place for today! Adam Baxter was absolutely fantastic - explained everything to me, put me at ease because I was nervous and managed to salvage my tooth for the foreseeable future. I cannot rate Adam highly enough, although new to the practice, he clearly is excellent with his patients and their treatment. Anna on Reception is always a delightful lady, nothing is ever too much trouble and her calm gentle approach is wonderful. Thank you Anna and Adam for helping me so promptly, it was very much appreciated

I was in agony for three days and been refused by every singe practice I called to. Ashby Dental received me almost straight away this morning and my problem has been solved in a matter of minutes. The reception staff always greet you with a warm, welcoming smile. My twins are looked after by Richard Moon and he is very understanding of my children's needs who are both in the Autistic Spectrum, as are the rest of the staff at the practice. I appreciate it's a private practice but I would not take my two anywhere else. I, we really appreciate the dedicated staff at Ashby Dental. Thank you for you kindness and understanding.

Fantastic experience: Had discomfort from food compacting between two teeth. Mrs Mellor proposed applying a crown to one tooth to close the gap. The procedure was booked for 2hrs but took nearer 3. Mrs Mellor was meticulous on her design of the crown and then determined to ensure that the final fit was perfect. This involved making a lot of very small changes to the crown. Her work and ability were first class and the outcome has been a total success Her assistant was clearly very experienced and they made an excellent team.

Fantastic experience: An old filling in my front tooth fell out last night - I had a very busy day ahead. The team at Ashby Dental took my call at 9:30 - first chance I had to seek help. They accommodated me into the schedule immediately. By 11:30 I had a better fitting, brand new white filling and was on my way to my next meeting. 2 hours from contact to treatment. Superb, friendly and efficient and total cost £69. I am in awe at how good my dentist is. Thank you Jack and the whole team - you’re fantastic.

The questions asked on arrival were pertinent and more in depth questions undertaken in a room for patient confidentiality.
