Fantastic experience: Very pleased to have found this great dental practice. I don't go as often as I should but they always have appointments available on short notice if I have any concerns. I've been seeing Dr. Kim who is very friendly and great at putting me at ease but also casually educating me on the best teeth care. Katy the hygenist is again very friendly and good at giving information without being condescending. She made an efficient job of my cleaning putting me in as little discomfort as she could (considering I hadn't seen a hygienist before). Overall I'm very pleased with this dental practice and I don't imagine I'll ever need to try another!

Fantastic experience: When I first registered with practice my general dental health was fair but there were concerns about some parts of my gums despite being thorough with my personal dental care. I had tried to avoid dental hygenists due to some bad experiences. My daughter persuaded me to register with The Terrace Dental Centre, which I did reluctantly. It was with great trepidation I went through an intensive dental hygiene programme. I was pleasantly surprised how gentle my current hygenist was. It wasn't long before I overcame my phobia of dental hygenist. On the advice of my dentist I went through a programme of non surgical intensive gum treatments to eliminate pockets of infection. Two years on my general dental health has improved significantly, and the risks of losing any teeth have susided. So far my experience as a patient has been positive. I am very pleased with the care and attention I have received from Dr Patel and the team at The Terrace Dental Centre.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I recently joined this practice after moving to Suffolk 4 years ago. As we have both had previous bad experiences in the past and have phobias of dentists, we found the staff and dentist excellent. The practice has the most up to date and modern equipment which is reassuring and we now have full confidence in any treatment necessary. Pleasure to go there, so glad we found this practice.

I’ve seen various dentists for all sorts of things over the years from Olaf for a complicated root canal to Sonal for Icon treatment and currently with Neil for Invisalign. They are all so thorough and professional with their work and give honest feedback on what’s best for your teeth rather than just how they can make more money. Both Lorna and Helle are also wonderful receptionists and always make it a pleasure to visit. Thank you all.

Fantastic experience: I don't usually get around to writing reviews. However. The people I saw at this surgery have been nothing short of incredible. I took my nervous autistic daughter for some treatment and all of the staff there who interacted with us were so kind. Receptionists are fabulous and helped put us at ease. I've also had treatment myself. Dr Kim is seriously a miracle worker. He's professional and knowledgeable and efficient and kind. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Positive experience: Have used the TDC for almost 10 years now. Good dentists and team, look after me well. Slightly high priced I think but overall good value.

Fantastic experience: The Terrace Dental Centre is brilliant, the staff are so polite and professional, you get treated with lots of respect as a patient. In terms of the treatments, time is taken to explain things to you and you don’t feel stupid asking questions. I see Olaf and he is the most sincere, patient dentist you could meet, frequently checking if you are okay whilst he is carrying out a procedure. I have had two root canals done here and the outcomes were excellent.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is so helpful from the minute you walk into and greeted air reception to seeing the dentist who are aware of nervous patients and go out of their way to make one feel at ease. The dental nurses are also very helpful in terms of joining in discussions about what is happening.

He also answered all of my questions and made sure I understood what he was saying. Negative experience: Came here a while ago. Thought it would be better since it was private. Found it to be a lot worse than NHS funded dental centres. The team was condescending - Olaf Neumann was my dentist. When he asked me whether I would want a certain type of crown, with me being 19 at the time, I answered back saying I would have to ask my parent first. He thought it was funny I would have to ask a parent first, and then he looked towards his assistant (middle-aged lady), repeated that "you would have to ask your parent first?" and they both smirked/laughed. Very rude and unprofessional. Made a complaint towards the manager, only by phone, and she emphasised that she was staying behind on work just to deal with my complaint (and?). Then tried to say I misheard and both Neumann and the assistant said they didn't do it - and why would I lie? I don't care if you deny it, it is what happened and I am not a liar. She also offered for me to go see another Dr, as if I would be willing to go to that place again and risk seeing those bullies again, and assumed I would be willing to spend my money there. Literal grown middle-aged adults mocking a teenager - nice! Save your time, money and dignity. I did get a refund but that was all - very slow, took a long time to process. Very rude. Receptionists were alright. DON'T COME HERE!

Positive experience: I went in because my top right molar was feeling sensitive due to cracking and thigh I was seen as an emergency patient which I thank you, I don’t feel like my tooth was treated appropriately. There’s still sensitivity and £99 seems high for what was done.

Fantastic experience: We got a new patient appointment to see the dentist very quickly. Terrace Dental facility was clean and everyone was very friendly and helpful at check-in and check-out. The family saw Dr. Shin Kim and his Dental Hygienist Alice, who were both wonderful and we all felt very comfortable with them both. Dr. Kim was extremely knowledgeable and took time to explain everything that would help with great tooth health. They were both also very patient and relaxed with our 8 year old, which meant she enjoyed her visit and is looking forward to visiting again! We will be booking our 6 month follow up very soon!

Fantastic experience: My daughter broke her front tooth in half, and Dr. Shin Kim bonded her tooth so beautifully. I appreciate how kind and gentle he was to my 8 y/o. He was SO patient with her and continued to work until her tooth looked perfect. He made sure that she was happy with how it felt and looked. The entire staff at Terrace Dental has been great to us. I've gotten my teeth cleaned at Terrace Dental as well, and I was very happy with the cleaning and customer service throughout my visit.

Fantastic experience: I couldn't be happier with the service I've received from both the front desk staff and the dentist I saw. I couldn't be seen as early as I would have liked for insurance reasons, but I was reassured that if I needed to come sooner for pain, they would make sure it was taken care of. A couple weeks later I had my exam and my dentist, Shin, was friendly, professional and thorough. I also needed a cleaning and they were able to fit me in the very next morning. Normally I wouldn't review my dentist, but this was the best experience I've had!

Fantastic experience: Simply - just a very different experience. The whole thing felt very personal. and didn't feel like an appointment as such. Simply being asked questions that I thought would have no bearing on the matter made such a difference and suddenly 2 + 2 made 4 again. Although not my home town I have no problem wanting to travel to get here. Worth every minute of my time.

I went here because my dog chewed my retainer and I had to get new molds made for a new retainer. *In the past (at other places) I’ve had terrible experiences getting impressions made. So bad in fact that it’s the only experience in my life that has ever given me a panic attack.* I was extremely nervous knowing I had to get impressions made for a new retainer, but the staff at terrace dental literally made the process so easy. They were very kind and understanding & I couldn’t be more thankful for them.
