We are a brand new dental practice with clinicians on hand to cover a variety of NHS and private treatment plans including dentures and take home teeth whitening. Our practice is a 3 minute walk from Eastleigh train station, with limited public parking surrounding the practice. If you have any questions or would like to book in for a consultation the team would love to hear from you. Negative experience: I submitted my Medical & Dental history form V6 in response to a text about a week before my appointment, and phoned the practice reception who reassured me that it had been received. The day before the appointment I was again asked to complete the form, which I did. When I sat in the dentists chair, she couldn't access my completed V6 form, and after my appointment reception staff could not locate what I had submitted. What is going wrong? You need to check whether the system for receiving and processing patient forms V6 actually works, and if not, get it fixed. Is this happening for other patients who take the time to respond with their history on V6, or are we all wasting our time completing it and signing on line? Your reception suggested not to bother next appointment!

Fantastic experience: I had a check up today at mydentist in Eastleigh and I have to say it was the most thorough check up ever. My lovely dentist, Dr Aarya, explained everything in detail and went through how best to care for my teeth and what to keep an eye on. This included Dr Aarya showing me my teeth with a mirror for me to view what she was pointing at and also discussing my X-rays in detail. I cannot remember the last time I had such a thorough and complete check up. Both Dr Aarya and her assistant were polite and professional. The reception staff were very welcoming and efficient. I can't fault the experience and I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: First time at this dentist. The ladies were very busy on a Monday morning with phone calls they were able to deal with me promptly and courteously Edit 20/10/25 ** Came back for my first treatment namely an extraction and a filling. Roshan and her nurse put me at ease with the process. It was painless throughout the whole time. Was asked many times if I was OK and what was happening. It was over quickly and she went through what to do post procedure. Have to go back in a couple of weeks to do some more work but not feeling so anxious for next time. Edit 3/11/25. Came back for round 2 which should have been another filling and extraction. On closer inspection she found the tooth was OK and wouldn't need to be filled. So she proceeded to remove the tooth say she might not be able to get it all out. Sadly this was the case and am now waiting for the referral to the hospital to be done. Although I'm annoyed at the situation I was again kept informed about what was happening and on my wellbeing. Going back next week for a clean. Left waiting for the extractions at a later date. Not sure about the outstanding wisdom tooth. Keep you updated. Edit 10/11/25 Went for a scale and polish. Job done thoroughly and painlessly by Roshan and her helper. Kept informed at all times during the procedure. Making sure I was not in discomfort. Teeth were cleaner and felt better after the session. Going back in six months for a check up. Keep you updated.

Fantastic experience: My call to the dentist to book an appointment was some what disappointing and unhelpful , as I was told I’m no longer on their books so therefore I can’t make an appointment of any kind. Not even an emergency appointment. So I attempted to book on their website. Lo and behold I booked the emergency appointment I wanted straight away and for the same day. That all said. When I arrived at my given time the story changed. They were excellent !! I knew the tooth needed to come out but wasn’t expecting the dentist to actually take it out there and then. Well chuffed with what they done and it’s a bonus that I don’t have to go back too.

Fantastic experience: I went in for my regular appointment with Jane the Hygienist, she was fantastic as always.. There is one thing I find bizarre, and that is their opening up!! I have an 8-00am appointment. The weather is now getting colder, the staff are there behind the reception counter when I arrive around 7:50 am.. I am registered 'Disabled' and yet I and other patients have to wait until the appointed time of 8 o'clock before they open the doors to let you in!!! They don't do that at my GP Practice, they are open for people to wait even for early appointments. It seems to me a draconian practice, that needs to be addressed.

Fantastic experience: I’ve just finished an Invisalign and crown treatment plan with Nayma Tariq at mydentist Eastleigh and it has been brilliant from start to finish! Nayma was fantastic asking me what i didn’t like about my teeth, what i really wanted them to look like. She absolutely nailed my request for them to be natural looking. She was patient, kind and flexible at every stage, even when I had started Invisalign and couldn’t decide between composites or crowns/veneers (to make 2 baby looking teeth normal size). Despite the expense (which she also helped soften) I went for the least number of crowns & veneers I could get away with (5 as I had a dead grey tooth) as i wanted something that would last and not stain. I haven’t been disappointed and am delighted with the end result! Nayma could not have been kinder or more keen to make sure I was happy- this even involved replacing a crown which on its own didn’t quite match the colour of my other teeth. Without hesitation she arranged to change it at no extra cost, they all look fantastic now, and I would not hesitate to recommend Nayma for any alignment etc treatment. I’m not a routine checkup customer at mydentist, but for the specialist treatment Nayma did it has been fantastic! She is an artist, a real professional in her field and no question or comment is too small for her, she is sympathetic and keen to ensure you are happy with the end result - and I am so happy! I could not have imagined my teeth feeling and looking so good yet natural. No Turkey teeth here!! She took the tiniest amount off my teeth to make it work and I can’t thank Nayma enough!

Negative experience: I spent a lot of time trying to find a dentist for my needs, I needed a tooth extraction, and the tooth extraction required a specialist as the roots were curved. In addition to this, I required someone who was very good with an anxious patient. I looked through reviews and was happy with my choice (referal from dentist). I booked an appointment, which costed £495, and for that price I expected a really good experience. My experience. I arrived for my appointment 20 minutes early, I was very nervous, and I almost cancelled as I suffer with extreme anxiety. Luckily I had a supportive family member with me and waited to be called. I walked in and sat on the chair, the dentist introduced himself and asked "is this the tooth" I said yes, and that I had seen 3 dentists before him, so really needed the help. He said I will get it out for your today. I then asked if it was ok to have one headphone in as music helps me, and I would still be able to hear any instruction if required. He said yes. Immediately, he got his instruments out and gave me 3 injections. For me, that was very traumatic, with no explanation, no assurance. I asked, how long will the numbness last, he said 2 hours (it was 6). Straight after the injections, I was handed forms and a pen by the dental nurse, she pointed out where I should sign, my hands were shaking I skimmed through the paper - broken jaw, sinus, and things my mind could not even process. I signed and layed back down. Is that normal? To hand the papers over after getting the injections ? The extraction seemed difficult, but I suppose that could be normal. My tooth needed to be cut and taken out in pieces. I felt something shatter and fragments reached the back of my throat, so I asked if they could get them out. All this time, not a word was said to me. I sat up, said thank you, and left. I was met by a manager who gave me an aftercare pamphlet and said she was available if needed. After care. I saw a dentist 2 days later as I had a weird taste in my mouth and pain. The dentist was amazing. He spent time and explained everything to me. He asked if I had any questions and reassured me that the extraction site looked to be healing. I had a phone call 5 days later to check on my progress, I explained that I was still in and out of pain, and that the "bad taste" was the same and difficult to deal with. I was advised to keep an eye on the taste. About 2 hours after the call, I began to get really bad pain. I called the dentist and asked for help. The receptionist advised she would speak to her manager and get back to me in 30 minutes. I called back one a half hours later and was advised ... you saw a dentist after the extraction and had a phone call 5 days later. Everything seemed ok. I explained that I was not ok and that a change had happened. They said the only assistance they could offer was an emergency appointment at a cost of £125. I asked why I was not able to be seen as this was about the extraction that I had already paid for, and after again speaking to the manager I was advised that I would need to pay the additional £125 for a further appointment. I called again the following day to advise that the pain was waking me up at night, and it was getting worse, and wanted to mention that I also had a lot of pain by one of the injection sites. The receptionist spoke to the manager and advised me that they can book me an appointment with the same specialist who had seen me, that would be a cost of £175. Or I could phone 111. I am very disappointed in the lack of empathy and willingness to help. I do not recommend.

Negative experience: Just had appointment cancelled and rebooked, did they not know would not be available at initial booking. A private appointment and NHS work so not cheap ongoing work leaving me in limbo. Not at all impressed certainly couldn't say I recommend the service. Not exactly fuming but very definitely not happy

Negative experience: I had an appointment with the dentist. To be honest the dentist that attended to me is the best dentist I have ever seen. He took his time to check my tooth and explained to me perfectly. He was very professional and I would give him over 5 stars. After consultation I went to the reception because I needed to come back to collect night guard for my tooth, the receptionist gave me a date to come and collect it. To my understanding she said it was just to collect the item. On getting there after two weeks to collect the item, I was 15 minutes late as I was delayed at the gp. I went to the reception and the receptionist checked her system and asked me to sit down. I thought maybe she needed time to get my item. After a while I went back to her at the desk and asked what’s going on. She said I need to see the dentist so they can check the fit. I said she should check properly because I was supposed to just pick up the item. So she asked me to wait again for her to go and check what’s going on. Only for her to walk back, with another staff peeping from behind only to tell me I was 15 minutes late so they can’t see me. And I said first I do not need to see the dentist, he didn’t mention he wanted to see me. Why did you keep me waiting if you knew I wouldn’t be seen or get what I came for? That receptionist was very unprofessional. It’s such a shame because the dentist was very professional.

Fantastic experience: Had the first part of my root canal today and I thought the experience was very good, if I looked like I was experiencing pain the dentist stopped to make sure I was okay to continue and also told me what to do if I was experiencing pain and wanted them to stop for more numbing stuff. Can't fault the experience I had here, will obviously update my review if things change but don't see why they would!

I’ve been with this practice for nearly 20 years (but who changes their dentist, right?) and I can honestly say it’s been consistently excellent. My current dentist, Roshan, has been looking after me for the last four years and counting....absolutely brilliant. I recently had dentures fitted, which is no five-minute job, but the care, patience, and professionalism throughout the process made it feel seamless. I always feel listened to, never rushed, and well looked after. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: Actual treatment from months ago was fine. However this poor review is regarding the administration for this dentist which is awful. Yesterday they were harassing me to make me pay £159 (3 months after the treatment) even though I had a Denplan which covered the treatments. They kept calling me, emailing me, leaving voicemails all on the same day whilst I was at work, causing me so much stress. The only reason they stopped chasing me was because I was able to provide all of the Denplan documents, but had I not kept them, I would still be being chased and called no doubt as they are just trying to get more money. Appalling. I was met with a flimsy apology afterwards and the sorry excuse of ‘a technical error.’ They have no people skills or care for patients whatsoever. Avoid if you don’t really fancy being pestered for bills which are already paid

Fantastic experience: They managed to book me in for a same day emergency appointment. Had been sufering from horrendous pain in my upper/lower jaw and roof of mouth for about 6 weeks. Turned out my tooth was decaying under the filling. Barring a small twinge when the anaesthetic was injected, the whole procedure was painless. Have had no pain from extraction and the relief is immeasurable.

Negative experience: Not a great experience this time, went due to a hole in a filling. Was greeted abruptly and asked why I was here so soon after having a check up a while ago. Explained about the hole and was told it couldn’t have broken but it had. Filling was done there and then and am now in even more pain.

Negative experience: Keep cancling appointments like they don’t wanna deal with me but I need my gums and mouth checking due to ill health they ruined my teeth also a bit of a back street dentist they moved to Eastleigh I went back explained what happened to out the one in Bishopstoke wasn’t really interested said was fine going NHS then a procedure said it would cost £600 no thanks that’s private it’s a misleading dentist make out it’s NHS but really want you to pay private for tooth care or finance I will be finding a new dentist after this experience

Fantastic experience: The best place to get private dental treatment without a shadow of a doubt, and affordable too! Their payment plan is a blessing for those on a limited income, which was my case. I was suffering from intense pain due to an infection in one of my teeth and needed a root canal and crown. Dr Roshan Syed was my phenomenal dentist throughout the 4 visits I needed. A total of over £1k was spread over these visits. She practically held my hand and didn’t let me down. No extra or hidden charge at all. Her assistant was also cordial and expertly handled every aspect of the process. I was recommended by a friend after I shared my concerns about the quotes I received from other practices. My apologies for the delayed review as the treatment was complete by the end of November 2024.

Fantastic experience: I started my Invisalign journey with Nayma throughout 2024 and couldn't recommend her enough. Nayma has been providing my check ups for a few years and we had discussed Invisalign and composite bonding to enhance my smile. She explained the process and was amazing throughout, we had regular check ins and was always available for questions and able to move things around to fit my appointments in. As of Decemeber 2024 we have completed all Invisalign stages and she completed the bonding on 4 teeth. This has really improved my smile and confidence and I would absolutely recommend Nayma to anyone who is thinking about it. I was initially nervous but need not be as Nayma is a total pro at what she does and am so pleased with the results.

Fantastic experience: I booked an emergency appointment, and could be seen just a few hours later, and at a reasonable price for an emergency. I was diagnosed there and then and my tooth extracted immediately. The Dr and Nurse were very caring and comforting as I was nervous. I was provided with really good aftercare advice and felt very supported. I think the price was very reasonable and will definitely use MyDentist again. Fantastic experience: A definite improvement since merging into the Eastleigh practice/clinic.....although my feedback prior to the change still stands (it's a pig to get to/from an appointment if booked for 8:00 - 9:30 or 16:00 - 17:30). The place is clean, fresh looking and the team (reception and dentists) are really great. In particular a special shout out to the MVP, Steff, who went above and beyond to help and make things easier for me. Also Nita, for being extra careful when stabbing me with needles and drills!! Keep up the excellent work everyone
