She took the time to patiently explain why regular visits are especially important during pregnancy and how it can impact teeth and gums. Emma is always such a delight to have in the room – so kind and reassuring, even holding my hand through treatments when needed. Fantastic experience: I want to sincerely thank the team at this clinic for helping me through my root canal treatment. I am an extremely nervous patient and usually avoid seeing the dentist unless it’s absolutely necessary. From the very beginning, Stephanie at the front desk was always warm, cheerful, and understanding of my fears and concerns. She did everything possible to make sure all my appointments were scheduled smoothly and conveniently. My dentist Harvey and nurse Anita were patient and reassuring, taking time to clearly explain the treatment plan. The clinic is also equipped with much more advanced instruments compared to my previous dentist – the X-rays are incredibly clear and the treatment equipment is very modern. This gave me much more confidence in the treatment and helped me feel less anxious during the procedure. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone, especially those who are nervous about dental visits.

The appointment process was smooth and well-organized from start to finish. Dr. Harvey Grahame was extremely kind, clear, and reassuring; especially as it was our first appointment, he patiently answered all our questions. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch the nurse’s name, but her supportive attitude put us at ease. Rachel and Stephanie at reception were very helpful with their warm and sincere approach from the very beginning. The clinic itself is very clean, tidy, and spacious.

Fantastic experience: While visiting the UK from my home in Palo Alto, I lost my mouthguard. I booked an appointment at the Gingerbread house in Shenley. The reception staff were incredibly helpful particularly Emma and Sandie who managed to fit me in an appointment with Dr Grahame who took a scan of my teeth and ordered me a new mouthguard. Rather than fill my mouth with impression material which is what I'm used to, he used an incredibly high-tech digital scanner which took a 3-D image of my teeth which he then emailed to his dental laboratory. Dr Harvey Grahame was incredibly professional and his charming assistant Anita supported him right through the process. Due to my tight flight schedule he managed to get the mouthguard made quickly and I had it fitted in a week. It fitted without any adjustment and although he carefully checked the bite, his laboratory had got it absolutely correct. Last night was the first night that I've slept well since I lost my guard thank you everyone at the Gingerbread house.

Fantastic experience: The receptionists are incredibly welcoming and helpful, creating a warm atmosphere. The hygienist and dentist are highly professional, and reassuring and the facilities are maintained to a spotless, sanitary standard.

Fantastic experience: Called in the morning and they arranged to see me immediately, even though I wasn’t previously registered with the practise and live 30 miles away. Adam worked through his lunch break to relieve my dental pain and performed emergency root canal, quick, efficient and pain free - talking me through the whole process. The receptionist was unbelievably caring and mindful of the pain and stress I was going through. The best dental practise I have been to, will happily make the 60 mile round trip to go back again and again rather than the visit the awful surgeries in my area.

Fantastic experience: Just had the remains of a broken tooth removed by Harvey and Anita at the GBH. I had put off having this done for ages as I was so nervous and worried. They both put me at ease. Injections were excellent and I literally did not feel a thing. So kind and lovely, thankyou Harvey and Anita so much.

Had initial consult with Harvey Grahame who was very patient and explained everything to me in detail, he worked with the receptionist to get me an extended appointment with the hygienist in the same week and 5 days since my first appointment and my teeth look and feel amazing. Fantastic experience: The best dental practice I have experienced in years. The hygienists, Jo and Lubna are first class, they are extremely patient, thoughtful and excellent at their jobs (hat tip to Lubna with the suction, I’ll never worry about this again!). Adam is also excellent, friendly and professional, explaining the treatment and what to expect. Access information: Wide front door with level access from a slightly ramped pathway. Wide internal door. Hearing signage on reception, I don’t know if they have an induction Loop. The internal corridors and doorways are wide enough for a small manual wheelchair user. There is an accessible bathroom too. There is no on-site parking, however there is accessible parking opposite in Tesco’s, which is a 500 metres walk away including crossing a B road.

Mel is patient, kind and completes the hygienist appointment with such gentle care but your teeth are left feeling a trillion times better. Fantastic experience: I couldn’t have asked for a better experience at Gingerbread House. I needed an emergency appointment after one of my wisdom teeth got infected on holiday and caused sepsis. Sandie and all of the staff were unbelievably kind and accommodating, ensuring I was seen as quickly as possible and showing a genuine interest and concern for my situation. The extraction itself was seamless. I was quite anxious given the pain I had had previously but Adam did a fantastic job at keeping me comfortable and removing the tooth quickly and painlessly. He has since checked in with me to ensure my recovery is going well which was very thoughtful. Any queries I have were answered and I was given all the necessary information regarding my treatment. Fantastic experience: This icon dental practice is totally professional. It’s easy to park in Tesco opposite and looks like a fairy tale gingerbread house. Most important Dr Grahame is fast and efficient. I do hate it when professionals spin out the treatment and length just to justify their fee. Why take 40 mins when it can be done with experienced hands in 20 mins. Brilliant!

Fantastic experience: For many years I was attending a hygienist local to where I live but then she retired and her replacement was useless! I am extremely fussy and particular when it comes to my teeth and that’s why I did not mind travelling a lot further to visit Jo Diamond at the Gingerbread House. I was certainly not disappointed! Jo is very professional, polite and very gentle. She took her time to explain everything she was doing & kept checking I was ok (which I was!). The entire experience was perfect and as I left, I booked my next visit in 3 months time! You will not regret seeing Jo Diamond! Best decision you can make!

This is the first time I’ve seen a Hygienist who specifically took care of my ‘hypersensitive teeth.’ Jo did an amazing job for me and kept me calm by checking in every few minutes to make sure I was okay while she worked on my teeth. Fantastic experience: Booked an urgent appointment with Dr Adam Newman last night and managed to get seen first thing this morning having never have received treatment here before. I'm a very nervous patient and had cracked a tooth badly and thought it would need removing but Dr Newman was able to save the tooth and put a crown on it. He was very reassuring and patient with me as were the dental nurse and the reception team who were lovely. I was made to feel very comfortable and safe in their hands and wasn't made to feel silly for feeling afraid. I am very happy with the results and have had no discomfort since having the work done. I went from an anxious mess to feeling very calm and happy this afternoon. I should also add that this tooth had previously had a crown and i was told by 2 other dentists elsewhere that it would need to be removed so left it as it made me nervous until ending up making it worse and needing this urgent appointment. So pleased i chose to come here. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I recently had treatment with the dentist Adam. I've not needed much dental treatment in the past and was rather nervous having cracked a tooth. Adam was great, he talked through my options for treatment and explained how either option would work. I decided to have an onlay. On the days of treatment Adam and nurses Lubna and Emma ensured I was comfortable and put at ease. Having had my onlay fitted a couple of days ago I have to say it feels great. No discomfort and does not feel out of place in my mouth. Highly recommend The Gingerbread House dental practice, reception are wonderful too, making an appointment is stress free and easy. Sandie and Rachel made this a pleasure. The practice also has great kind hygienists too.

Fantastic experience: I have been to this practice for a while now, but I had to have an emergency wisdom tooth extraction with Adam. It was a difficult procedure and took over 50 minutes to remove. Adam, as always, was amazing, but I want to publicly mention the nurse with him - Emma. I was scared and worried throughout and she was wonderful, she held my hand the whole time - reassuring me and being so kind! A credit to the practice. I could not have been better looked after by them both. As a whole this dental practice is the best I've ever been to. All the staff are so kind and helpful.
