Negative experience: Great reception staff but the actual dentists themselves are terrible the owner in particular, they just want to quickly palm you out the door as quickly as possible due to them always being behind on appointments. I had missed a few appointments due to family matters and out of no where I was told I can no longer be treated with no consideration what so ever.

We are, however, sorry to hear of your disappointment. As a very busy NHS dental practice with exceptionally high patient demand, we must manage our appointments carefully to ensure fair access to care for all patients.
Our records show that you have missed and cancelled multiple appointments, including at short notice. In line with our Missed & Cancelled Appointment Policy, which is communicated with every reminder email we sent you, patients who repeatedly fail to attend are no longer offered further appointments. This policy is essential to maintain access for the many patients waiting for NHS treatment.
We appreciate that personal circumstances can sometimes make attendance difficult, but repeated non-attendance unfortunately prevents us from continuing to offer appointments within the NHS schedule. Decision has been made in accordance with our practice policy and is therefore final.

Fantastic experience: Always a great service here from reception to the dental clinicians. Always good information and education given on dental hygiene. Had a query about night time teeth grinding in children and it was explained the reasoning behind not intervening at this point. Never made to feel silly at all when asking questions. Reception even give children a sticker. Children are made to feel at ease here also.

Fantastic experience: I became a patient at the Practise under the care of Mr Darr several years ago following a bad experience elsewhere. Although I have always looked after my teeth and attended regular dental appointments, I'm one of those unfortunate people who has required a lot of treatment along the way, including several root canal treatments, bridging and crown work. I cannot rate Mr Darr and his team highly enough and I honestly don't know what I would do without them. I still suffer on and off with infections that seem to come out of the blue but it's a real comfort to know that I can pick up the phone and help will always be quickly on hand. I count myself very lucky!

Fantastic experience: Sandra, my dentist did a brilliant job on my front teeth / gums that had slightly receded due to my silly brushing habits over the years. I’m yet to see if it lasts, as was told it may not, but I cannot fault her skills. Good work also by the dental assistant on the day, Akriti, whom I believe is the practice manage also. Both very nice people and also provided some additional amusement with their chatter. I’ve been here a few times so far and the practice as a whole is excellent, with good support from the reception staff also whom have helped me with arranging a short notice slot swap that I could attend due to my difficult working patterns. Negative experience: I've been trying to get 1 filling done for over 2 months. Apppointments keep getting cancelled. Extended wait times to get rebooked (i.e weeks +++). I've never had this much issues with actually getting dental treatment done (apart from the initial assessment). Definitely think twice before looking to use this as your dentist. Staff are nice but if you've got a dental/tooth problem go elsewhere!

Positive experience: I had a great experience with this dentist; the team is wonderful and the quality for the price is excellent. However, it's really difficult to get appointments. I've tried calling well in advance, but for example, appointments with the hygienist are often two months or more out. This has happened to us several times, which is quite disappointing. As a result, my husband and I have decided to switch dentists. It would be fantastic if the management could address this issue to improve their service, as it truly is an amazing place.

We are a very busy practice, one of the very few still taking NHS patients for miles. Due to a huge influx of patients, we do employ 6 dentists which leaves less free room for hygienist work. Therefore , our hygienist is booked for some time in advance.
Unfortunately, being a busy, popular practice means patients will have to wait for longer for their appointment.
We aim to deliver a high level of professional service at all times, which you experienced 1st hand but sometimes demand for appointment outstrips supply and availability.
We hope this sheds some light on the root cause of your remarks and maybe score us on the quality of our service, instead of a harsh 3 star review.

Fantastic experience: One of my teeth to the right of my front tooth sat back a little. It was beginning to bother me more and more. Seeing the video on Composite bonding whilst attending for a check up looked interesting. Mr Darr fitted a mock-up, the difference looked amazing. I've always taken good care of my teeth but that tooth spoilt my smile. I booked the appointment and I am overwhelmed by how my teeth now look - I now have teeth to be really proud of, and I am really proud of them. Thank you Mr Darr, thank you Smile Welling.

Fantastic experience: I have been taking my mum to this dentist for a while now. Rather far from where she lives but worth it. Receptionists are clean, presentable and show customer care. And the two today was so friendly. And thank you to receptionist Acrii (I think I spelt it wrong, sorry) for being patient. My mum was so nervous when she first started going Mr Deeb soon settled that and went out of his way. And catered for her being her. So it seems this is very much a team oriented practise. Thank :-)

Fantastic experience: I have been a customer of this practice for a number of years under the care of Mr Abou-Deeb who has always been very informative and professional in both diagnostics and treatment, I recently had a broken tooth and the reception team who are always helpful managed to book me an appointment at short notice with Mr Abou-Deeb who repaired the tooth and did my six month check up at the same time to prevent me having to return a few weeks later for a prearranged appointment, many thanks to the Smile Welling team would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been attending here for about 40 years and wouldn’t change.. I woke up in agony and phoned expecting nothing much, I know dentists are seriously overbooked atm. I was told I was welcome to come and wait and they’d try and fit me in. An hour or so later they found a spot for me, because some inconsiderate eejit didn’t turn up. Everyone was so kind and understanding and clearly wanted to make the best use of their time to see as many people as possible. I couldn’t have asked for better care. Thank you all so much
