I 100% recommend every one to go to this place it will be worth it.

Positive experience: My dentist is good but the receptionist is abrupt. I understand that the job is busy, but phone decorum must be maintained especially if the caller is courteous and polite. Please send your receptionist to customer service course.

Negative experience: I accidentally dropped off a letter at this dental practice instead of the other one on Kennington Road. I handed it to a lady in scrubs who told me to call back the next day. When I called a couple of days later, the receptionist, Fatima, was very unfriendly and unhelpful, and I was told they didn’t have my letter. She then told me I could come in person just to be told the same thing again, which felt dismissive and unhelpful. I understood my mistake and i was just trying to check politely, but the experience left me disappointed with how the situation was handled.Would not recommend!

Dr. Nigel Rodrigues has a wonderfully gentle hand, and his understanding nature always makes my visits feel easier. Fantastic experience: My first visit to this dental surgery on 17th June 2025 and I want to express the outstanding delivery of service from the moment I walked through the door. The receptionist is an extremely welcoming lady, who explained everything to me. I required an emergency extraction of a rather painful wisdom tooth, which was carried out swiftly by Dr Rodrigues who was very reassuring and made me feel very much at ease. I cannot recommend this surgery more highly. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: This dental surgery doesn't look like anything from outside, but don't judge book by it's cover. I'm originally from Poland and I used to go to my country for dental treatment only because I wasn't registered with any proper dentist in UK. I used to live in Westminster area and my then dentist didn't have a higenist who was normally responsible for teeth cleaning. I was surprised enough that it wasn't dentist himself who does the job. When I first registered with Kennington Dental surgery with Dr Nigel Rodriguez I was positively surprised that he was doing the cleaning and not some underskilled nurse.. The treatment was affordable so I didn't have to go abroad. Dentist Nigel is carrying professional who will look after you well, give you advise and be proactive. He's always assisted by the assistent so that speed up the process of your treatment. I'm grateful for any advice from him as he's knowledgeable and very helpful. I also appreciate superb communication with Fatima who's responsible for the booking. She always accommodate my needs, even if there's an emergency appointment needed. She's swift, professional and really empathetic person. If I could I'll give this surgery golden star. They also do some beauty treatments which is convenient.

Negative experience: 1)The receptionist is rude 2) I was sent out communications badgering to book appointments and alluding to removal from patient list if not booked in a time frame. 3) On my last 2 visits the dentists had attempted to over charge me for band 1 service for the exact same thing I've been getting done all my life and is listed as band 1 services. The 1st time I called him out on it he agreed to proceed as normal and made it sound like he's doing me a favour. The 2nd time he didn't fully complete my service and I was left partially seen to. Allowing for small issues that would fall under band 1 care to grow to eventually become worse and require more care. This has been my dental surgery since I was a child. Now in my 30s poor ethics and rude staff means I won't be back

Fantastic experience: Myself and family have been a registered patient at this dentist for a number of years and I have say would not change for another. Although the practice is small, the atmosphere is bright and friendly thanks to the dental team. The receptionist is very welcoming as soon as you arrive and does help one to fill out necessary forms before having your teeth done. Even while waiting, patients do engage with each other, which does show the friendly atmosphere mentioned. When having your teeth done, the dental manager has a smile and welcomes you, making you feel less anxiety. He shows interest in you as a patient, your teeth then talk you through today's procedure before having your teeth worked on. Throughout, he checks in on you making sure you are alright. The dental nurse is also friendly, giving support to both the dental practitioner and patient. Overall, I do recommend this dental practice. Finally I would like to thank the dental practice team for all you have done to make my smile even greater.

Fantastic experience: My 15+ years old silver filling fell off on Sunday, Called them at 10.00am Monday, initially made an appt. for Thursday but luckily got a cancellation slot for the same day 11.20am. Went in, got a new filling, paid and I was out in 30mins. Later that day when I had my late lunch (after waiting for 2.5+ hours) I couldn't finish the dish as my filling was hitting/pushing my bottom tooth and causing pain. I called them immediately, left a voice message. In 3 mins I got a call back and was told to come in ASAP. The doc scaled it down a bit and I was out in 5 mins. Excellent service.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had a very good experience at kennington dental surgery. Both with the dentist Mr Rodrigues & Receptionist Fatima. I’ve been going there since I was a little girl (15 years +) and they have never let me down. I’ve had many problems with my teeth and they have always managed to sort me out and the rest of my family. I don’t know what I’d do without that surgery to be honest.

Fantastic experience: I have a phobia of the dentist! But I love coming to this practice, they understood my plight. They are kind, gentle, friendly and very understanding. Dr. Rodrigues has a needle technique many other practitioners should aspire to. I think it has something to do with the training he received in Bristol. Many years ago I had another Bristol trained dentist I stayed with them for 23 years plus’s, until they stopped practicing. They do not carry out unnecessary procedures at this practice, they tell you clearly of the options for any treatment, and work towards preservation. The receptionist is wonderfully friendly and very helpful. It has taken me a long time to find a practice that I am comfortable with. I would recommend this practice to anyone.

Negative experience: Rude reception! Incompetent reception, that books you in for incorrect treatment and practitioners and then does not own up to her faults but blames the inform you have given! System used to store client information is neglectful ! Waste of time, DO NOT JOIN !

Fantastic experience: My family & I ve been to this practice. From any aspects that you can think they are second to none. Fatima is fantastic to accommodate appointment base on your busy schedule, calls you to remind or bring your appointment earlier if it a suitable for you. However , I am very nervous patient but she made me to feel at ease while waiting . Dr. Rodrigues is very attentive, informative dentist and ensures you understand your treatment plan before going ahead for any procedure. Dr. Sooshak is also is pretty good. As piece of advice; if you would like to get everything to be done in one session choose Dr. Rodrigues but if you would like the dentist takes his/her time choose Dr. Soochak. But at the end of day you are gonna get the best quality care from either of them. Thank you all for delivering such a brilliant service from reception area to being on the dental chair.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been visiting this surgery for a few of years. I have been very pleased with the service so far and I'm planning on going back to have some more work done. I can highly recommend this surgery. The dentist is greatly skilled and competent and managed to put an end to my long standing tooth ache as well as making some valuable recommendations for the future. In one instance, when a seriously awkward filling fell out, the surgery honored its one year warranty and carried out the filling again at no extra cost. Appointments may be difficult to come by just like any other quality dental surgery, but their ever dedicated receptionist (who keeps the trains running in that surgery) will actively contact you to bring your appointment forward in case of cancellations. The prices are extremely reasonable and I have recommended this surgery to family and friends on many occasions.
