Fantastic experience: Absolutely deserves the 5 stars! I was in today for a tooth extraction , right from walking in you are welcomed with the settling kindness and confidence of the reception staff. Let's start with the dreaded ' sharp scratch'. I have blood taken regularly so I'm kind of used to it ,but I can honestly say this was by far the gentlest experience of an injection ive ever had . My tooth extraction wasn't straight forward as my tooth had split and decayed. The dentist was professional, caring , and even funny which helped settle any nerves. She talked through exactly what she was going to do and was very reassuring throughout the whole extraction.The whole experience was completly painless.Thank you to the whole team who made an experience that most dread, into a calm , relaxing and pain free visit. If you need a dentist and you are nervous or worried, this is the place for you .. even if you're not nervous or worried, I still throughly recommend this place Thank you

They give great advice for keeping teeth healthy and all the team are excellent in the service they provide. A check up visit today with Kirstin and Eve, was as efficient and thorough as always. Negative experience: Had a breakage to my front teeth during a domestic violent relationship back in 2021. Had it repaired frequently here as they come away a lot being at the front and always done an excellent job. Had it repaired recently by Kamal to what i can only describe as a disaster, in my opinion my teeth look hideous, requested for her to correct the job due to how much it was affecting me and got repeatedly fobbed off. Receptionist even made a comment over the phone that said and i quote “we aren’t here to make you look nice and pretty” was quite upsetting especially due to my circumstances. I did however receive an apology, but not her making the comment. It was for me “taking it out of context”. Quite upset about the whole experience tbh. In my opinion i would only suggest avoiding Kamal in doing treatments that are visible and maybe just stick the back ones. Other than that all the other dental practitioners who ive had treatment from have been an amazing and done excellent jobs!

Fantastic experience: Being unable to access NHS dental treatment I reached out to this surgery who offered limited emergency appointments on a private basis. The receptionists were friendly and efficient sharing the charges upfront and the information required to make my appointment . The dentist Kamal and her technician Heather were both really friendly and worked together efficiently too. They took time to fix my tooth painlessly! It was a very positive experience all round, thank you all!

Had an appointment with Amar today put me at ease straight away and explained the treatment I was having he was absolutely excellent and very gentle my teeth feeling great. He did an amazing job. All of the staff here are really nice I had an appointment with Kamal for a check up recently who I hadn’t seen before she referred me to Amar for further treatment and was very professional and reassuring. I was lucky I got a cancellation and saw Amar the same week. The reception staff are really nice always pleasant and efficient. I have used this practise for many years and all the staff are really nice including the reception staff. I usually as a rule see Kristin who is always professional and gentle as well I’d highly recommend any of the Dentists here.

This week, due to unforeseen circumstances, my checkup was with Kamal assisted by Kim. Once again a fantastic service! Fantastic experience: My appointment today went really well with the dentist Kirstin and dental nurse Heather. I had 2 fillings. Kirsten is always very professional and explains each procedure as she’s doing it. I used to hate the dentist but since Kirsten arrived here at Pelton a good few years ago I’ve never been afraid since having my first appt with her. She’s very thorough and gentle. It’s the first time I’ve met Heather the dental nurse today and she was really nice very chatty and professional put me at ease too. Also the reception staff and practice manager are very friendly and helpful too. Always keep me updated with upcoming appts and reminders for checkups.

Fantastic experience: I have been using Bupa Dental Care in Pelton for some time now the reception staff are fantastic they do their best to always get you an appointment and they will even phone you if they have any cancellations. The female dentist I use is called kamal she is very friendly and knowledgeable I always trust her decisions 100% some people get very nervous visiting the dentists but she makes you feel at ease as soon as you walk in the door and the advice and after care she gives on how to keep your teeth healthy for the long-term future is absolutely fantastic. I have never had any problems with the work carried out on my teeth and will continue to use this practice in the future very satisfied kind regards to all the staff Trevor.W

Fantastic experience: Visited Bupa Dental Care Pelton earlier this week on an emergency appointment and saw my regular dentist Kirstin who was assisted by Heather, Once again their professionalism and care for the patient was paramount making sure I was informed of what was about to happen and checking I was fine and not in any pain (which I was not at any time) I have to say this is the best surgery I have had in all the time I have needed dental work,everyone at the surgery is first class

Fantastic experience: I'm 51, been afraid of dentists all my life. From the 1st phone call to the surgery, it was absolutely perfect. I urge anyone who is wary of dentists to go this practice. I spoke with Emma at 1st and she explained everything excellently and really.made me feel at ease. Dr Kamal the dentist was exceptional assisted by Heather (great team) she allayed any fears making the experience as comfortable as it could been. I had no hesitation afterwards, signing up to the 'smile scheme'. After many poor experiences at the dentist I simply had to pen this review because I was so happy with the overall experience which many may take for granted. Absolutely top class dentistry and thank you Dr Kamal. As a follow up, even better, huge recommendation for Eve and Dr Kamal

Fantastic experience: My NHS BUPA dental surgery is in Pelton, Chester-le-Street, Co Durham. I get treated periodically by the surgery's dentists Kamar and Amar from whom I get excellent and commendable service.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient for 4 years and I have always been extremely happy with the practice. The staff all go above and beyond for patients and I wouldn't trust any other dentist. My daughter and I regularly see Kirsten and I have started treatment with Kamel. They are both amazing ladies who are kind, caring and always make us feel at ease. The Dentist isn't our favourite trip but due to their constant care, our teeth are healthy and in good condition.

Fantastic experience: Wow! Just saw Amar the therapist and his wonderful assistant Heather. What an absolutely stunning job. My teeth have never been whiter or cleaner and finally that bad taste has gone. Also big thanks to Jia and her amazing assistant Eve who saw me for a horrendous toothache last week- they were so gentle ! I am so grateful to have a wonderful team of experts to help me.

Fantastic experience: My 16 year old son Taylor is autistic and was very nervous about his appointment, he is usually ok with checkups as he’s used to them and knows what will be happening but we attended the dentist today for a filling, the dentist and dental nurse were absolutely amazing with him, explained everything step by step and kept him calm the entire time…anyone who has a child with special needs will understand how anxious these things can be for their children but I definitely won’t be worrying if he needs any further work done in the future…thank you so much for taking the extra time with him today, it really did make a difference.
