Fantastic experience: Brilliant and caring. Just had a cleaning with 2 absolutely wonderful ladies (Jo and Leona) who kept my mind off my anxiety by keeping the chat going and being very gentle. Went a long way in changing my mind about things. Nisha is a fantastic dentist (even with negligent patients like me lol) and I trust her. Reception are always lovely, especially Jo who has been one of my favourite people even going back to her Boots days which is where I first met her. Absolutely recommend!

They show great care and are always accommodating. Truly professional and knowledgeable. They always make you feel comfortable and explain the treatment and after care. Negative experience: 31.1.25. at Watermead Dental. I arrived 10 minutes early at 9:50am for my check up scheduled for 10:00am. Understanding that there can be a little slippage, my check up commenced at 10:10am and took around 5 minutes. I then waited for more than 20 minutes for a hygienist appointment which I was told later was scheduled for 10:30am. At 10:37 I asked how long the hygienist appointment would take as I was parked in a 1 hour space, which would run out at 10:50. I was told there would not be sufficient time for the hygienist appointment and would to have to re book the appointment. I suggested that I could pop out and move my car, but was told that there was insufficient time for me to do that. After explaining my frustration, I left the dentist feeling disappointed and angry.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and frustration caused during your visit on 31st January. We completely understand how disappointing it must have been to experience delays and then be unable to proceed with your hygienist appointment due to time constraints.
At Watermead Dental, we strive to provide a seamless and positive experience for all our patients, and it’s clear we fell short on this occasion. We appreciate your understanding regarding potential slippage in appointment times, but we acknowledge that the communication and handling of the situation could have been much better.

Fantastic experience: I had a piece of my wisdom tooth break away on Thursday Jan 2nd, it was only causing mild discomfort rather than pain, but they managed to get me an appointment on Monday Jan 6th. It turned out to be a lot worse than I thought when it was xrayed and needed to be taken out. This was done there and then very professionally by the dental surgeon Rushina and the dental nurse Leona, everything was explained perfectly and the extraction was quickly over with. A wonderful first class service from the whole team, including from the wonderful receptionist, thank you all.

Fantastic experience: This has been my dentist since I was 13 years old, I'm now 62. It's used to br nhs and then went private, I could have left but decided to stay as the dentist and staff have always been wonderful .miss butters is very good and always put me at ease and mandy the hygienist Is so freindly and also puts meat at ease. Great surgery would highly recommend. .

Fantastic experience: This practice has looked after my families teeth for 30+years. My children(in their40s) only have one filling between them. My grandchild now goes. So grateful to have found such a conscientious practice.

Fantastic experience: Great practice. Friendly, helpful and caring staff. I have been a patient with them for a very long time and that is because of their care and professionalism.

Fantastic experience: Reception always polite and friendly. Very efficient. I am a bit scared of the dentist but ms butters is so reassuring and calm she puts my mind at rest. Very gentle and I am always very pleased with the end results. The hygienist Mandi always does a first class job as do the rest of the team who help at the practice.
Fantastic experience: As a new patient and a little nervous I was really impressed, time was taken to explain what would happen and to put me at ease. The dentist Liz Butters was really great and so patient as was the dental nurse who gave me a shoulder squeeze when she could see I was anxious. The reception team were also brilliant explaining what paperwork I would need to claim on my dental insurance and within a very short time I had everything I needed.
