Fantastic experience: Mumbles Dental House were able to help-out in emergency as a piece of tooth had broken off whilst visiting relatives in the area. Talking with Ali he is clearly someone who passionately believes in restoration and future preservation as opposed to just papering over the cracks with short-term fixes. All the options were explained in detail and in a way that made perfect sense and easy to understand. In a world where it is so possible to receive poor levels of dentistry it is very refreshing to find someone like Ali.

Fantastic experience: This is a lovely practice in all aspects from the front desk staff, especially Katie to the hygienist Jade who is so thorough and knowledgeable and of course Ali who is such a nice person as well as a good dentist, and we all need a good dentist! Fantastic experience: A 5 star practice. A highly professional setting and an expert Denist. The care and treatment is the best I have received. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this practice to any of my friends and family.

Negative experience: I don’t believe in writing bad reviews but I’ve never had such a bad experience. Leaving practice after a week after rude principal dentist’s snide remarks telling me ‘my tongue would get used to’ a sharp edge left on my tooth after a filling. Also, after the team telling me one of them would be on hand if I attended alone with my baby, I was told by the principal dentist to have someone with me next time and made to feel as though I’d done the wrong thing after having the filling. Lastly, the extortionate prices are not justified and the pricing plan is misleading with an ongoing deposit scheme which leaves you wondering what you’ve actually paid for and for example, the hygienist appointment being ‘from’ £85 - my partner got charged £128 with no explanation as to why it was so much more! The only positive thing about this dental practice is the nice receptionists who tried their best to help!

Fantastic experience: Yesterday I gave Dr Lowri Morris a major challenge in that I had a tooth that had split in half. She spent 2hrs on it to ensure that she did a first class job. She had to drill out old filling and rebuild the tooth. I couldn't be happier with the result and what was even more surprising is that she managed to do all the work without any pain. And no other dentist had explained any of this to me or care enough to take the time. And what's more is that they did this all for me even though I am not a regular patient of the office. Negative experience: Good dentist but let down by the practice owner. He's only bothered about money. They signed me up to Denplan 2 years ago and then today, he told me it wasn't on their business strategy. No idea why he started this conversation but he had no idea how to discuss it in a well mannered way. He implied that I have a choice to leave Denplan and pay as you go or leave his practice. I chose the latter.

Fantastic experience: Ali and his staff at Mumbles Dental House came to my rescue when I lost a crown on holiday in The Mumbles. Fortunately, when the crown came out, I didn't lose it. So Ali was able to fit it and cement it right back on for me during an emergency appointment. A couple weeks later and it's feeling good and no problems. Some of the positives about the experience include an all-in-one emergency services price along with other transparent pricing options. This helped me easily figure out the costs. Ali also offered to help if I had any issues with my travel health insurance and filing the claim. He explained what was going on with the tooth repair in detail — great for me, because I like to know all the specifics of what's going on with any health procedure. Not only was he and his staff quick and efficient and professional, they were also very welcoming and understanding. It's not easy to navigate different health systems while on vacation, but they made it as simple as possible by answering all my questions in a helpful, friendly manner. Lastly -- even the waiting room was pleasant: the music playlist/station was very relaxing (yet sophisticated and modern -- no cliche Muzak here) and the other clients were even super nice. I had a lovely conversation with a woman in the waiting area. All in all, this was the nicest experience it could be, all things considered for a dental emergency. I highly recommend the Mumbles Dental House and would be a regular patient if I lived here. Thank you again, Ali and staff!

Fantastic experience: In September 2023 a big piece of one of my upper back tooth broke off. I had an appointment with Dr Ali Abdelgabi at the Mumbles Dental House. It was a very good experience. When I arrived Dr Abelgabi first had a little chat with me and I felt immediately calm and confident. Dr Abdelgabi did a wonderful job repairing that tooth. I never felt any pain while I was there and it had been good ever since. A few weeks ago a big piece of my lower back tooth broke off. I knew right away that I want Dr Abdelgabi to take care of it. He explains very well what all the options are to have it fixed. He is very gentle and friendly. I decided to sign up with him as a regular patient. He is the best Dentist I ever had and can recommend him without any doubt.

My consultation began ,really the minute I walked through the door.I was put to ease immediately by the ambience of calming music ,which definately worked a treat. Ali saw myself and my bestie sitting outside the waiting room and acknowledged us with a friendly smile and a hello. I was spoken to for about my life ,expectations,etc and I must say it was such a pleasing attribute, to make me feel important and that what I feel and want were important. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Dr. Ali. I went for a general check up after not visiting a dentist for a few years and I was a bit stressed. Dr. Ali took the time to explain all procedures that he did and after he took X-rays he made sure we look at them together. He explained the x-rays and answered all of my questions. After not having a great experience with dentists in general Dr. Ali and the rest of the staff were a breath of fresh air.

Fantastic experience: After no fewer than two NHS dentists gave me bad advice that ultimately led to me losing one molar, I turned to Dr Ali for a second opinion, as I'd seen how much he invests in learning his craft. I'm an anxious patient and the customer service I have received has been exemplary. I'm never rushed, I feel listened to and have had a completely different experience to my NHS filling, which was traumatic. Dr Ali genuinely cares about his patients: I trust him unequivocally and I don't say that lightly. He is a man of integrity and a true expert in his field. He's built a great team: I have also been seeing Jade, as stress meant that my gums were a disaster, and she too is amazing. I've never had such thorough examinations of my gums but following her advice led to me reducing my inflammation from 43% to 4% over a couple of months. No one has ever explained to me how to properly care for my teeth in this way before. The reception staff are also lovely. I had such a good experience with this practice that I travel from London from my treatment; I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mumbles Dental House to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ali, Jade and the team are amazing. It’s my first experience where my dentist took the time to really understand my situation, habits and needs. They did a very detailed check on my current situation and then discussed a dental plan. After the initial consultation it was clear this was not a normal dental practice - it was on another level I’ve never experienced anywhere else. Their moto seems to be long term rather than quick fixes and this was apparent during the whole course of works they did. They were keen to explain what was happening at every step and it’s obvious they take great pride in their work and explaining things in detail. After this experience I’ll never use another provider again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a personal service with great value for money considering the attention to detail and service they make. I didn’t end up having my tooth out with them due to the fact I phoned a surgery who could perform it that day. Fantastic experience: Ali at Mumbles dental house is absolutely brilliant. I have had several fillings replaced & it is impossible to tell which teeth have fillings & which don’t, the attention to detail is outstanding. More importantly, both of my children are very comfortable going to the dentist. My 13 yr old daughter has had 3 adult teeth extracted as part of her orthodontic plan. I was amazed at how well the extractions went - she was made to feel comfortable & experienced minimal discomfort - all thanks to Ali’s approach. A really good dentist is hard to find & having had negative experiences in the past, worth every single penny.

Fantastic experience: Recently joined Mumbles Dental House after my regular dentist retired. I was given a very thorough examination on my first visit by Dr Ali and given a treatment plan. This was explained in detail to me and it became obvious that he was an expert in his field. I have just had 2 fillings with him and felt completely at ease during the procedure. Throughout the procedure, he took the time to explain each step to me, ensuring that I was comfortable and informed. Fantastic experience: I decided to book a check up at Mumbles house after researching private practices in the area. I was a new patient and was able to book my appointment online which was very convenient being busy with work to call. They provide a beautiful calming environment as soon as you walk through the door you are welcomed and feel at ease, spotlessly clean modern and all the staff well presented and very welcoming. It Even smells of a luxury spa in the waiting area. I had the most detailed check up with Dr Ali including pictures of my teeth/ fillings that we discussed in detail with close up images afterwards. After being an nhs patient and quite nervous nothing was rushed and all my questions were answered. You can even see the mumbles beach and sea from the treatment chair. Fantastic experience: This is the best dental practice I have ever been to, I will never again go to any other dentist. Dr Lowri, Dr Ali and Nurse Lucy provided me with exceptional treatment. I have had a long life of complicated dental problems. I had years of pain from one tooth which led to multiple tooth related issues and bad filling done by other dentists. I was loosing hope after multiple visits to the dental hospital and emergency dentist where no other dentist could figure out the cause of the pain. I came to Dr Ali and Dr Lowri and after a tooth extraction and one expatiation, I can finally eat solid food for the first time in 2 months and have no pain. My teeth were ruining my life. I saw about 15 other dentists from consultants at the dental hospital and emergency Private and NHS clinics that all gave me a different diagnosis and could not locate the issue. The dentists at mumbles dental house figured it out almost instantly, they are clearly top tier well educated dentists that know there stuff! I would go as far as saying have saved my life because the tooth nerve pain was the worst thing I have ever experienced. I am now living a happy pain and sugar-free lifestyle.
