Fantastic experience: Attended the clinic yesterday for the first consultation. The staff were very welcoming and the lady I spoke with was very clear regards the process whilst also understanding of my personal wishes. First impressions excellent and I’m feeling confident regards my future treatment plan.

Fantastic experience: Andrew Nichols at Smile Spa, Stockton is the dentist I saw. He and his team have been nothing short of brilliant. Slowly and clearly explaining all my options with a traffic light system for the treatment required and suggested. There was absolutely no pressure to have everything done but as the different treatments progressed I began to understand how much better for me and the long term health of my teeth it would be. I was very reluctant to jump from the NHS to private and not all private practices are the same, but it has been worth every penny. I had no idea such treatments, equipment and methods existed. Can’t wait for my 6 monthly check up!

My treatment was thorough and carried out professionally by staff using personal protection. It was a pleasant experience and I did not feel in anyway at risk. **This is a review from my appointment post pandemic** Not sure what happened to my review from 9/1/2024. However the standard of service remains excellent and hygienist Lycia Middleton is brilliant.

Fantastic experience: The best dental practise I have ever been too out of the many I have used throughout the UK! All the members of staff at The Smile Spa, were extremely professional and made me feel very comfortable every visit I had. I highly recommend Dr Andrew Nichols, Kevin Caruana and Lycia, who have done an incredible job with my teeth from start to finish! My treatments lasted over a year, I started with Lycia who gave me the best teeth clean ever. Then I had Invisalign to straighten my teeth and correct my bite. Followed by three crowns and composites put in top and bottom. Lastly had an implant bridge completed. The team have left me so impressed and in love with my new wonderful smile! Fantastic experience: Having had an awful experience with a previous NHS dentist resulting in me needing significant repair work including an extraction and front tooth implant fitted I decided to go privately and chose the smile spa for this work. I can not recommend the team enough, I was informed about my treatment all the way through the process and the results are incredible, Gabriel and his team did an amazing job and put me at ease the whole time. You would never know that my front tooth is an implant. The reception staff, dentists and nurses at this practice are all very friendly and really make the experience a positive one which is something that definitely is could not be said about my previous practice! Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr Kevin Caruana by my dentist to embark upon an implant journey. From my first contact with Michelle on reception Rachel treatment co ordination and the dental nurses I have been treated impeccably. As for Dr Caruana he is absolutely excellent a true professional in his field. His examination was thorough and he explained absolutely everything in an empathetic professional and friendly manner. His knowledge and expertise is outstanding. Sadly my implant journey was not to be on this occasion a decision made by me due to A problem that was discovered. I would have no hesitation in returning to the smile spa , particularly Dr Caruana a lovely gentleman with exceptional knowledge and professionalism. Thank you

Fantastic experience: I started my treatment for a tooth implant at Smile Spa in June and it's just been completed in early December. Nothing has been rushed but everything has been thorough. My dentist was Simon, assisted by Natasha. I cannot speak too highly of the expertise, professionalism and empathy shown by the team during my visits. The whole practice exudes these traits. I am now in possession of a molar which feels like it's been there forever; it is very comfortable and efficient. Nice not having that gap! I never have a problem about visiting a dentist, but I am confident that should you be of that nature you would be re-assured and treated sympathetically. I can recommend Smile Spa without reservations.

Negative experience: My partner was 6 minutes late due to traffic, tried calling numerous times to let them know - no answer. They finally answered and said dentist would not see him. 6 minutes! Unfortunately you have just lost thousands of pounds worth of work! Disgusting service. Booked in else where.

Fantastic experience: The whole experience from first contacting the surgery obtaining a treatment plan with no hidden costs and no obligation to go ahead with treatment and no pressure sales to actually have treatment, is so friendly and professional, Every single member of staff give you a warm welcome and you immediately feel you're in good hands. Samantha Trotter (Sam) is the coordinator and first point of contact. Within a short time, you feel as though you've known her all of your life, Sam gave me the treatment plan and costs, once I gave agreement to proceed then referred me to a dentist who checks what is needed technically, Simon Bate who was the excellent dentist I saw, he was extremely professional and communicated perfectly as to what the treatment would consist of, he outlined the process, but before moving forward he advised seeing a Hygienist either my own from my practise of one from the Smile Spa, I opted to use the Hygienist in the surgery Fiona Legarth and I'm so glad I did, she was excellent and gave me tips regarding teeth hygiene I wish I'd been aware of years ago. I would highly recommend the Smile Spa. It's not all about implants or veneers or whatever cosmetic procedure you want, it's simply a brilliant dental practice with excellent staff who will put you at ease and take care of you from start to finish. Once you go there you won't go anywhere else
