Negative experience: My experience today left me feeling as thoughi were a second class citizen. A hello from the Dentis Foitis, pleas e excuse if I've misspelt his name) but, as I'd written on the online online box if I had any other issues I wrote that I needed a filling replacement after filling out the forms , I was to have a check up, IBoth Dentis and his assistant were not as pleasant and welcoming as they usually are. I felt unwelcome , and they spoke to one another, but weren't keeping me informed, unlike Foitis, as he is usually very pleasant. He did the filling, was told I'd need a post with a crown. So i thought it was a temp filling. When i asked, both of them were rude, saying that he had never said so. Once he'd finished filling the tooth, I asked about my check up , and mentioned that I was having toothache elsewhere when flossing, and ,I know it needs attention, before it becomes unbearable! Prevention is always better than cure. Plus when I was at the Maxifolation and she looked intently at all my teeth, she said I needed to get that tooth sorted before it turns nasty. Foitis said "Come on Judith what more do you want? " and that he had given me a check up!!! When I said he hadn't both him and the assistant we quite abrupt. I examined your teeth when I did the filling and that they looked OK. IThe assistant agreeing , how would she know, she didnt take the usual notes, as happensa during checkups! As i did not have one!.I felt like like I was being gaslighted. Who has ever had a check up just by your dentist looking into your mouth? I'm now nervous to go back there, I DREAD walking in there, as im not expecting the welcome mat to be ou! Thiss other tooth still needs to be filled, I am in great pain just flossing there! Plus you have to ring by 8.30 am for an emergency appointment. I don't want it to get tto the EMERGENCY stage, as it may not be able to be saved.I wanted my check up, not a look around, in my mouth, im not a horse, as if I had itgiven me the check up, he would have certainly found it and possibly more . I was uncomfortable, felt totally gaslighted and in complete shock! He has never disguarded me before. Always, genuine thorough check ups, a little banter which made my experience a good one. But not today. Dreading having to go back , I'll possibly get struck off their practice. I am in all honesty in total shock. I did post once before, this is my second attempt. So I'm not expecting this feedback to show either ! Fotois, I'm sorry if you were having a bad day, you're human. But I'm a patient, why did you gaslighted me today? You know my medical history. And that wasn't nice of either of you to trigger me

Fantastic experience: Appointment time was prompt. Very pleasant dentist who was friendly and helpful. She explained everything well and offered different types of filling if I was interested. I didn’t feel any pain, not even the local anaesthetic. The Dental nurse was also very friendly, pleasant and helpful. They both appeared to work well together. The reception staff did not come across so well. Not as personable or polite.

I usually get nervous in dentists but she was amazing at telling me what steps she was doing and what to expect. She was even able to refer me on as a patient mid exam. Fantastic experience: I rang the day before as I wasn't able to make the time I booked for due to school trips . I was told I could come abit later save cancelling which was amazing. We was all seen and my son even had a tooth taken out there and then which wasn't planned it was only a check up . Dentist was really reassuring with the children , can't fault them at all.

Calmly they talked me through the process step-by-step step, and put me at ease! Both talked me through a treatment plan and can’t wait to see the end results and what these guys can achieve. The dentist was absolutely lovely and explained clearly everything he was doing.He definitely deserves 5 stars. I was upset that the equipment was leaking - he was obviously very frustrated

Fantastic experience: I visited the dental centre today for a filling on my front tooth I was seen straight away the dentist and the dental nurse were very friendly and put you at ease as soon as you arrived they carried out the procedure very efficiently and I left very happy with my experience thank you both very much

Negative experience: The dental work I received was great, the dentist Farouk was fantastic. However, I am extremely disappointed by the set up with the practice. When reporting this issue I was told that I had been struck off. The practice claimed to have sent me emails to book a check up, after having my email address associated to my details was inputted incorrectly, and I had been treated last year for a previous issue. Due to this issue I have now had to pay more money than I should have due to them striking me off due to the incompetence of my email being inputted incorrectly.

Negative experience: If you don't want new patients, just say that. (Caveat: I didn't get treated here. Enquiring was enough) Walked into an initially friendly member of the admin/nursing team behind the desk and enquired (as you do) about NHS capacity. Unlike the good old days, where you filled in one of those double-sided A4 green and white forms, I was instead instructed to scan a QR code. This is where is where it all started to go downhill. Every question I asked culminated in being told there were no appointments (without being told that explicitly, and despite offering to pay privately). I was given a handful of payment options, none of which were clear or indeed sounded legitimate. For example, at one point I was sales pitched a dentist called "Farrouk" who "wasn't NHS or private". (Eh?) I was also told that you had to "make three months worth of payments" to be eligible for treatment for whatever financial arrangement they have "because other people cancelling has spoiled it for everyone". Nice. A lady sitting directly behind me in the patient waiting area, who I incorrectly assumed to be a patient, was quietly barking directives to the woman in reception while simultaneously ignoring me. Another member of staff to the right behind the desk offered no input other than the occasional sardonic remark. An odd, unsettling experience which looking back was just a bunch of women with attitude who couldn't be arsed.
