Fantastic experience: Had to have one of my top front teeth removed. I was extremely nervous but the dentist and nurse were lovely and very understanding. Very impressed. Reception staff are always friendly and helpful making the whole experience better.

Fantastic experience: Dentists, not everyones favorite place to be, but at Bupa Shanklin I was treated well and made at ease with friendly, smiling staff. Parking is not available, apart from one disabled space, but there's parking in side roads near by.

Fantastic experience: The service is very efficient. Appointment reminders are useful. The reception staff are very professional and friendly explaining which floor I needed to be to see the hygienist and dentist. Both the hygienist and dentist gave me a thorough check and gave very good advice on my teeth health and I've never been flossed by anyone but myself ever before now!

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff. I've had 4 or 5 appointments this year & the staff were very understanding that I spread them out so I could afford them more easily. The hygienist today was lovely & I had a full 30 minutes of treatment which I thought was excellent & happy the advice she gave me last time has shown an improvement. The dentist that removed a front tooth due to overcrowding & bridged the gap left was quick & efficient. I would definitely recommend the practice

Fantastic experience: I can't think of anyone that says they enjoy going to the dentist but needs must, and going to the BUPA Dental Clinic in Shanklin is as good as it can get - you feel like you are in good, professional and safe hands, everyone is so friendly there. My last visit in April (2025) was to my regular hygienist appointment where I meet Jake and Shirley for the first time, such lovely people but also so knowledgeable, who gave me some really good advice. Jake was extremely thorough in his clean; I was still running my tongue over my teeth for days after! In all this, he was very ably assisted by Shirley who supported the appointment with her warmth and encouragement. Would definitely recommend this practice!

Fantastic experience: I saw the hygienist on Tuesday and I must say that I was very impressed with the treatment I received. Both the Hygienist and and the Dental nurse were very kind and reassuring and I was fully informed of what the treatment would be. Also the staff at both desks were very patient and helpful. I was treated with the greatest respect. So thank you to all @ The Shanklin branch.

Fantastic experience: Visits to Liz (hygienist) and Shirley (nurse) are always a pleasure, not only for the treatment given which is top notch but they are wonderful carers with a good sense of humour. Their dental knowledge and efficiency is A1. Receptionists, Beth and Pauline, also deserve credit for courteously dealing with clients before and after appointments. The Shanklin staff are a great team.

Fantastic experience: My 97 year old Mum now enjoys and benefits from visiting the hygienist every 2 months. She has her own teeth - most of them - and at her age, cleanliness and care are paramount. Hygenist Gabrielle and nurse Shirley continue to do this work for mum in a very caring and professional way. Their thoughtful and friendly manner helps mum enjoy the experience even more. She said her teeth and gums haven't felt so good and fresh for ages !! Thank you both

Fantastic experience: I see Cheryl the hygienist and her nurse Sherley for a scale and polish twice a year. They are friendly, efficient; this was especially true over the past two years when I was diagnosed with an extremely large dental cyst. During the treatment and subsequent operation my mouth was very sensitive and it really helped to have a caring relationship with the team. I would also like to praise my dentist, Gita; she was the one who realised there was a problem, even though I didn’t have pain or obvious swelling, as soon as Covid allowed us back to our dental healthcare. Thank you to all the team at Shanklin

Fantastic experience: Today I had to have a back tooth removed and from the moment I entered the surgery the staff were in a jovial mood which made me feel very relaxed. Having said that the staff were very professional and I had every confidence in them. I wish to thank them for the prompt action in arranging for me to attend as I was in considerable pain. It is now 9 hours since I was there and I am now pain free and relaxed.

Fantastic experience: The most accommodating dentist on the island. You’re immediately greeted with a warm welcome, the waiting room is very calm and cosy. Fantastic experience: Just had a hygienist visit at Bupa dental care in Shanklin with Gabby ( hygienist ) and Shirley the nurse. Very professional and informative great advice for daily routine also mentioned about their Smile plan which will save money in the future. I highly recommend these guys.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to this dentist since 2017 and they are absolutely fantastic. In an emergency there is never a problem getting an appointment quickly. Similarly, if treatment is needed after a check up appointments are arranged quickly. The staff are amazing, so welcoming and would put anyone at there ease. I actually find a visit to this practice enjoyable because the staff are so lovely and relaxed.

Fantastic experience: I broke a tooth eating lunch and phoned for an emergency appointment. The receptionist was very understanding and I managed to obtain an appointment for the following day. My appointment was with Dr.Georgios Michalos. I had never met him before, he was very professional and put me at ease right away (I get white coat syndrome!). He kept me informed of what he was doing throughout the procedure and I must say I had no pain whatsoever so ever. Dr. Michalos had a very pleasant manner about him and I must say I found it a great experience. His assistant was also very pleasant and profession, they made a good team. I would give them 10 out of 10. Thank you
