Fantastic experience: Like most people the Dentist is not always your favourite place to be and it certainly was not mine until I joined this fabulous Dental Practice. From start to finish my experience has been professional, kind and extremely friendly.

Fantastic experience: Attended today to get one tooth reattached to it's tiny plate. I'm disabled and my Mum is approaching 90, so both of us really struggled to get up the stairs. Once up there a lovely chap suggested that we went to the car park behind the studio, and when he'd stuck the tooth back on, he brought the finished plate out to us! Fantastic experience: I had a phobia of dentists, but after finding Ian and his team, over the years they have made me confident enough to attend my appointments alone and not need sedation anymore. My teeth have never been looked after better. Even though have moved out of the area, I will still be making the journey back for my appointments.

Fantastic experience: My husband and 2 children started attending here a couple of years ago and I can not speak highly enough of everyone who is part of this practice. From the reception staff, the dentist, the nurses, hygienists and orthodontist- every one of them is so friendly and exceptionally good at their job. I almost look forward to going! Ian, our dentist is amazing at talking you through everything as you go and putting you at ease throughout the appointment. The reception staff welcome you like a friend and are very efficient with follow up calls and reminders of appointments. I could go on and on. Great care is taken from examination to treatment plan with a comprehensive range of diagnostic equipment and careful explanation of any issues and the recommended treatments. Fantastic experience: With the expertise and care that went into both my children’s teeth over the last few years they can now both claim to have beautiful teeth that will carry them through life. I would highly recommend the Marlborough Dental Studio.

Fantastic experience: If I had to describe my experience with Marlborough Dental Studio in three words, I would probably say 'impeccable consistent service' because that is exactly what Dr. Tarr and his team provide. I initially visited the studio to undertake a course of Invisalign. Those currently researching Invisalign will likely know that this treatment does not come cheap, regardless of the practise! However, when considering the number of regular appointments I had throughout my treatment and the service provided throughout, I would now say that the cost represents good value for money. It's worth noting here that I decided to pay for my upfront. Unlike other services (be it dentistry or otherwise) at no point did I feel that paying upfront compromised the service I received in any way. They did not 'take the money and run' as it were. In terms of my interactions with Dr. Tarr and the other staff, it is clear that they are all passionate about their work and enthusiastic in providing good service. My goals for treatment were clearly understood whilst ensuring a healthy compromise was maintained between cosmetic goals and maintaining good oral health. At the end of my Invisalign course, I also had bonding on two irregularly shaped teeth and it is evident that Dr. Tarr has much experience with this kind of work. I honestly cannot tell where the bonding ends and my real tooth begins! The practise even sent my retainers to my London address after the first one didn't fit correctly. They really do go the extra mile for their patients. Since finishing my treatment, I really have not stopped smiling. I shall be continuing to use this practise for general dentistry in the future.

Fantastic experience: First Class for all categories. Excellent safety provision for COVID-19. Service was very efficient. My urgent treatment was accommodated quickly and staff were helpful, confident and friendly. Dr Byford explained options fully and carried out root canal work and crown installation smoothly, ensuring safety and utmost comfort throughout without delay. Lovely practice environment and location.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant dental practice. For crowns and fillings the accuracy and delicacy of touch have been so precise I have never needed local anaesthetic, nor painkillers afterwards. The quality of treatment outcomes has always been outstanding. In my opinion you will never find a better dental surgery than this, nor a better, friendlier or more professional dentist than Stephen Tarr. The whole experience from booking, through reception and treatment and subsequent hygienist session is seamless and professional , and on occasion quite fun.

Negative experience: I had the worst experience at this dental practice. The receptionist was so rude that it induced a panic attack that needed medical assistance. The practice manager was meant to call and didn’t and the dentist, Ian was just as unhelpful at the receptionist or should I say “patient coordinator” ... Be VERY careful when going here. I was told I am an unfit parent and need to be reported because my child spilt some crumbs on their step.

Fantastic experience: I've really enjoyed my visits to Marlborough Dental Studio for Invisalign treatment. Dr Stephen Tarr used his expertise to successfully take me through this amazing orthodontic treatment. I am absolutely delighted with my film star straight teeth, which look very different from the crooked mess they were before. I also have a new crown which I am thrilled with because it looks like a natural tooth. The staff are all cheerful and friendly which creates a lovely atmosphere.

Step in Kate the hygienist and Stephen the dentist. I can honestly say they are magical! Kate is by far the only hygienist I would ever see, too many use cold jets of water and my nerves are screaming! She’s amazing. Stephen also takes his time and reassures at every stage. I’ve never felt a thing! 3 crowns and 4 fillings later. I cannot emphasise how wonderful they are here. Receptionists are so friendly and also wonderful! I’ll be with you guys till I’m 102!
