Fantastic experience: All staff at the practice are exceptional however I want to give a special shout out to my dentist Lina. Her patient care is exceptional. She's kind, patient, takes time to explain everything and works in a caring way that would even put the most nervous person at ease. My teeth have been healthier than they have been in years I can highly recommend Glen Dental! October 2025 - I wrote this review 5 years ago and wanted to mention that the patient centred approach at Great Glen has continued to improve year on year. My husband and 3 children have had similar very positive experiences with Lina and her team I continue to highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I recently visited Glen Dental after experiencing tooth pain and was impressed by how quickly I was able to get an appointment— The next day after calling. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming, making the check-in process smooth and hassle-free. The clinic itself was spotless and well-organised, creating a calm and professional atmosphere. The dentist (Dr Ricky) and dental nurse were approachable and put me at ease throughout the visit. The equipment appeared modern and well-maintained, which added to my confidence in their care. The treatment was thorough yet pain-free, which I really appreciated. Pricing was fair and transparent, with no surprises. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I would happily recommend Glen Dental to family and friends for their efficient, professional, and patient-centered approach.

Fantastic experience: I'm extremely nervous of the dentist after a previous traumatic experience. So when I went in to see Ricky and his team for the first time I was very anxious. I had a fair bit of treatment done and the entire time I was constantly reasurred what's happening at each step. Checked on continuously and given periodic breaks to make sure I was doing OK. What is quite a big deal for me was made as easy as possible. Very attentive and professional. Couldn't recommend more highly

Fantastic experience: After lockdown put a stop to regular dentist visits and a house move meant a change of dentist, I was a bit apprehensive about going back to the dentist. I should not have worried! Ricky and the team at Glen Dental are fantastic! From lovely practice manager Jo (honestly- her customer service is exceptional!) to the first class treatment from Dr Ricky- I couldn't be happier to have found such a brilliant dental team!

Fantastic experience: Like a lot of people I'm not overjoyed at going to the dentist and I'd had a particularly difficult experience at my previous surgery so I was very anxious. From the very first phone call with the genuine and understanding receptionist to the initial review with the dentist and the eventual filling I needed, everything was calm and reassuring. The waiting room doesn't smell or sound like a traditional dentist which was a huge relief. The dentist patiently listened to my concerns and made every effort to make it easier for me. I was prepared for some pain but the system they use delivered the anaesthetic effectively and I honestly felt nothing other than a single sharp scratch and the mild vibration of the drill. It was a revelation! I would highly recommend to anyone who is feeling anxious about treatment. Their fees are clearly stated and they consult with you about each item of the treatment plan they suggest so no nasty surprises when you come to pay. A positive experience from start to finish.

Fantastic experience: I have recently become a member of Glen Dental, after having a chip in my front tooth. All experiences so far have been very good. With speedy turn arounds. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to switch practices or who are not currently at a practice. Ricky is very professional along with all of the staff being very friendly, which helps make that daunting dentist visit a lot more pleasant.

Had a double abscess, Fantastic receptionist saw my pain and managed to get me into Glen dental, Lina the dentist got me in and straight onto antibiotics, that worked, then later a check up and today double extractions. Fantastic experience: After not being to a dentist since 2017 and having some gum issues I decided to get booked for a consultation here. I was so nervous but from the first phonecall I felt at ease with them. Jo is a diamond and so welcoming as soon as you walk through the door. She has a personal touch that really makes you feel comfortable in these situations. Ricky is my dentist and him and his lovely assistant really made me feel so much calmer and I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome of my deep cleaning. I’m now on a dental plan with them and can already notice a huge difference in my gums firming back up! I highly recommended this dentist and their plan, and I’ve already recommended to my family who are looking to move over this way. Thank you so much, I’m really pleased I came here and I no longer feel scared about going to the dentist which I never thought I’d say!

Fantastic experience: I'm a new patient to the practice and chose Glen Dental following various consultations at other practices. Ricky Patel was my dentist. This was my first treatment at Glen Dental and the experience was all round very comfortable and felt minimally invasive. Ricky took his time with the treatment and was very meticulous with the great results coming through, which I'm very happy with. The composite bonding really did transform my teeth- a look and feel and I'm very happy with the outcome- brilliant! The clinic was very comfortable with friendly staff with a clean environment. From my prior experiences at dentists, I have found it to be uncomfortable and wanting to leave as soon as possible but this was not the case with Ricky at Glen Dental. Great practice!

Fantastic experience: Best Dental Practice I have ever been to. I have been a client in this practice now for around 10 months and I would not change it! The service here is outstanding, the staff are very attentive and human. I used to be scared of dentists before but now go with pleasure , for even a relaxation I must say. I have had few treatments done and every single one was done without pain. Shrik is very considerate and attentive. He is very personal to each client which is great. Fantastic experience: I went to see Victoria who is a hygienist at the practice for the first time last summer, she's simply brilliant. She's very meticulous in her approach as well as kind and thoughtful. She cleaned my teeth thoroughly and did a brilliant job. The whole dental team are extremely professional and I'm glad I have found a dental practice close to home.

Fantastic experience: Contacted Glen Dental as i was suffering with a broken. Had never used them before and hadn't visited a dentist for 30 years. Phoned them up and was booked in for a consultation which was quite a way off but was told that if a earlier date became available they would contact me. A few days later they called to say they had a space available in a few days time so i accepted. In the post came a letter and info about the appointment and some info i needed to do online. This was straightforward and easy to complete. On my first visit all was very friendly Jo on reception very pleasant and i was seen by Mr.Kotecha. He was very polite explained everything well took some x rays and carried out some cleaning work. The work that needed to be done was explained along with the charges. A booking for the work was made before i left along with the option of an earlier date should one become available. My initial visit was on a Monday and before the end of the week i received a phone call and was booked in for the work to be done on the Friday. On the day everything was very friendly and the work to be done explained clearly. All went well and what i should do in the following days during the healing period was explained to me and also given to me in an easy to follow sheet. I was also informed that i could call them at any time if I needed to. Within a couple of days I was contacted by the dentist who did the work to check on my wellbeing and to remind me to adhere to the guidance notes on self care. To sum up my experience from start to finish I would say : Very polite Very good standard of work Everything explained well and simply I would highly recommend them to anyone

Fantastic experience: I joined Glen Dental after having a bad experience at my previous Denstist and was always nervous of going to the dentist. That changed from the moment I stepped through the door at Glen Dental. From the receptionist down to Shrik my dentist I have been made to feel completely at easy and the treatment I have revived has been 5 star. Very thorough and explains clearly the treatment being carried out and prevention moving forward. I would recommend the dentist to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I switched to this practice having moved to Great Glen. The team are very friendly and welcoming, who make you feel at ease and comfortable. I was treated by Lina who explained everything clearly and is very caring. I would definitely recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Having needed emergency treatment for an infection during the pandemic I was able to get a same day appointment with no issues. Lina was able to get it cleaned and got me sorted in no time. While there I signed up to get my teeth in order and a dental plan. Since then I have had 2 visits to get old fillings sorted out. Both of which required numbing. And yet Lina was calming, and regularly checked in on me throughout, and I barely noticed a thing. I even got to choose a DVD to watch while I was treated!

Fantastic experience: I came to Glen Dental on a recommendation from a family member and am so glad I did. I had recently had a poor experience at another practice and was quite nervous about having any treatments. Shrik is exceptionally good at putting you at your ease by explaining exactly what he is doing as he goes along. Your comfort is paramount throughout and this is extremely reassuring. Fantastic experience: I have disliked going to the dentist most of my life. This stems from the school dentist who was not very kind. I have always felt anxious and nauseous. I had not been to the dentist only for emergencies. I had my second jab recently and thought , right, I am going for a check up. I read the reviews on Glen Dental Practice and was so impressed I tried to book an appointment, unfortunately there were no immediate appointments but I said I would take any cancellations. Next day there was an appointment. Jo the receptionist was lovely, very kind and reassuring. A credit to the practice. Shrik the dentist, was the most loveliest man who put me at ease straight the way and took time out to chat about everything and listened to my anxieties. I felt as though he actually cared. Anyway, all sorted and will be going for regular check ups in the future without any hesitation. I never usually write reviews but I was so happy with events that I felt I needed to. Thank you

Fantastic experience: I saw Lina and her team for treatment to align my teeth with a fixed brace. It felt like a big decision at the time, but Lina calmly explained the process and what would happen every step of the way. I’ve just had the brace removed and I’m thrilled with the results. Everyone at Glen Dental is very friendly and puts any nerves at ease, Lina is so easy to talk to and makes scary dentist visits much more relaxed! Fantastic experience: Amazing service and great result! I have just had a bridge fitted by Lina Kotecha at Glen Dental and I am really impressed. I had been bothered by my lower front teeth for many years. I made an appointment to see Lina and she planned my treatment seamlessly. I first had hygiene visits with Victoria the hygienist (who was so understanding and very gentle). Then my lower front teeth which were crooked and loose were removed. After a short while of healing, a bridge was fitted! I feel so confident with my new teeth! Thank you Glen Dental.

Fantastic experience: I was a little nervous before going to Glen Dental during Covid lockdown but need not have been. The safety precautions they have in place were of course first class and I felt entirely comfortable and relaxed. A superb service as always - I cannot recommend Glen Dental highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I first contacted the practice when I heard they were able to open again after lockdown. I had suffered a number of dental disasters but had been unable to get any treatment at all through the NHS and was anxious and in pain. I still remember my disbelief and relief when I was told that yes they had all their PPE and would be happy to see me! I’ve been back a number of times now and have been treated with such kindness and professionalism. Shrik is friendly and reassuring, kind and calm, totally professional. An appointment never feels rushed, there is plenty of time to discuss any concerns or to reach decisions about the way forward with treatment. During a procedure you are constantly reassured, breaks are offered, you can choose a movie to watch during an extended session, nothing is too much trouble. Your well-being and comfort is the priority. The dental nurse is skilled, the receptionist caring, everyone is on the ball and you feel it is a real team. A referral to a specialist was arranged swiftly and efficiently for me. Thank you x If you have any Covid concerns I can only say the practice itself is beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean with the reassurance of good air conditioning. I cannot recommend Glen Dental highly enough, I only wish I’d found it years ago!

Fantastic experience: The team at Glen Dental are fabulously friendly and offer a skillful service everytime. They're always quick to ask you about your day, answer any questions you may have about procedures and talk you through any work they do as they go along. Todays appointment in particular stood out for me in showcasing how valuable their approach is... I was recovering from a month filled with bad news as I entered the clinic and, honestly, I left feeling better than I did going in. Warm words from Lina, followed by some soothing music and wildlife TV visuals during my filling procedure proved to be the welcomed escape I needed. It's not often you get people saying they enjoyed going to the dentist - by phobic family can certainly attest to that - but I find Glen Dental a pleasant experience every time.

Fantastic experience: My first visit to the dentist since lockdown. Lina and her team always make me feel reassured and comfortable and this time was no different. There are comprehensive additional procedures in place due to Covid as expected. All very professional and friendly too.

Fantastic experience: Registered with Glen Dental after a friend's recommendation and I have had three visits and a course of treatment to replace a crown on one of my teeth. Service has been excellent throughout and I especially like the way that Shrik explained at every step of the way exactly what he proposed to do and why. Fantastic experience: Best dentist ever. I was afraid of dentists before I came to glen dental. They make you feel so at ease and are really gentle.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited Lina at Glen Dental (post Covid 19) for an appointment. I was a little wary of visiting but Lina and her team made me feel very welcome, and safe. The practice was very clean, and with measures in place to protect but I was not made to feel in anyway concerned. Thank you again, its clear you care very much about your staff and patients.

Fantastic experience: I visited glen dental practice 2 days ago and was incredibly impressed with the professional way the practice is set up after being closed for a while with the coronavirus lock down. It was immaculately clean , the team had all the protective equipment you would find in a top of the range hospital and they still managed to be friendly and do a very good job. I can 100% recommend

Quite simply I was for many years a non attendee having had some pretty awful experiences whilst living away from Leicester and using a variety of recommended practices in the area(s). Since moving back to the area I have again through recommendation used a couple of other practices and was honestly on the verge of giving up. Nearly 4 years ago now, I walked into Glen Dental and it was the best decision I have made. I found a very friendly, immaculately clean and professional group of people that almost immediately settled any worries that this was going to be another "not going back their" practice. So having had nothing but first class service since signing up, I can highly recommend Glen Dental.

Fantastic experience: I cannot thank Shrik and the team at Glen dental enough for the way that they have cared for me and my teeth! After 2 failed attempts at braces from the age of 13 years I thought that having teeth ( im now 48) that I was happy with was beyond my reach . It can really knock your confidence and affect you right onto your adult life Along comes Shrik. He is an utter professional and is an exceprional dentist and his dentistry skills are second to none . Not only that .you are treated as a whole person and shrik will explain everything to you with such care and attention that you have no doubt that you in the best of hands ! My brace came off on Monday. 6 months after starting the treatment ! I cannot tell you how thrilled I am at the results! I can't stop looking at them ! Ha ha The aftercare is also amazing with Shrik giving concise and strict instructions on how to care for your teeth . I would also like to thank Jo at reception for her warmth and welcoming nature .Lina who always says hello even tbough shes busy and the girls who looked after me with their words of reassurance while in the chair .! I cannot recommend this pracice and everyone in it highly enough ! I tell everyone ! Thankyou !!

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic dental practice! I could not be happier with the results after my clear smile braces. Shrik has been incredibly professional and helpful throughout the treatment. I was a little apprehensive about having braces as an adult but it has been so much better than I thought and has been certainly worth it now with the end results! Fantastic experience: Excellent treatment from Shrik and superb staff. Always a happy smiling face to greet you from Jo at the reception, the nurses and Shrik. Had a crown fall off at the weekend and they got me in on the Monday lunchtime. Would be excellent for nervous patients. Can not recommended them more.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Shrik Kotecha as my dentist since July 2014 and always receive excellent, caring, professional treatment. I thoroughly recommend him. I live over 50 miles away from the practice but will continue to travel there for my treatment as I completely trust him with my care and treatment.
