Homestead Dental Surgery

Fantastic experience: Recently had a dental implant fitted by Dr Abbas after having to have a tooth removed. I had a very good experience with all the staff at homestead dental surgery who were very professional and caring throughout the whole process. The procedure was pain free with exceptional aftercare having regular checkups and guidance on how to manage the healing process. Now having the crown fitted I could not be happier with the results as the tooth feels very natural and causing no problems at all. I would definitely recommend getting a dental implant to anyone who can afford the treatment as it can be a little costly however I believe it is money well spent.

Fantastic experience: I have just had my dental implant finished by dr Abbas and Im amazed at how real it looks and feels. Absolutely no pain from start to finish, I would highly recommend dr Abbas if you are thinking of having one done. Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience at Homesteads Dental Care with Dr. Abbas, Nadean and Shan. I’m 19 years old and had a dental implant done over several months, from June to October, and the entire process was handled incredibly well. Dr. Abbas took the time to explain every step of the treatment in a clear and reassuring way, which really helped me understand what was happening and what to expect next. As someone my age, that made a huge difference—I felt informed, confident, and never rushed. He also made sure I felt relaxed and comfortable at every appointment, which helped ease any nerves I had going into the procedure. The care and professionalism shown by both Dr. Abbas and the team were outstanding. I’m very happy with the outcome of my implant and grateful for how smooth the whole experience was. Fantastic experience: As an anxious patient and not a fan of the dentist I was super nervous about joining a new dentist after not being for a long while! I was over the moon with the service I recieved, I was made to feel so at ease and comfortable, I even booked again! On my second visit I was booked in with the wonderful hygienist and her lovely assistant who was absolutely fantastic! They both made me feel so comfortable and relaxed and the hygienist was so gentle and patient with me, I cant thank the staff here enough! Brilliant, caring happy staff highly recommended

Fantastic experience: I had composite fillings with Rachel and she was amazing! Super precise and explained everything I wanted to know in full detail! Nadean the nurse was specifically attentive and made me feel super comfortable throughout! Great dentist surgery - I could not recommend enough :)

Fantastic experience: Just been to have a filling… at the Homestead dental centre…. Sarina offered me filling with or without injection, I took the offer of NO injection, albeit a small filling, I didn’t feel any pain or discomfort, neither did I leave with a wonky mouth. The whole experience was a credit to Sarina’s technique and the attention of nurse Shan. While I wouldn’t generally say having a filling is a good experience, I have to give credit when it’s due and I wouldn’t hesitate to have another filling without injection. Thank you Sarina and Shan

Fantastic experience: Joined this practice since moving to the area 2 years ago. Had consultation with Dr Abbas who introduced me to his team.Nadean,Shan and Cathy. Needed an implant and hygienist to repair years of neglect. The implant surgery carried out by Dr Abbas was extremely professional. Took me through the stages slowly and carefully and was very successful. Cathy has made an enormous difference as my hygienist and I now feel that my teeth are in the best shape they’ve been for many years. I am pleased that my trust in Dr Abbas and his team paid off. Fantastic experience: Can not thank homestead dental enough. I was in so much agony with tooth pain. I couldn’t get an appointment anywhere. But homestead surgery, bent over backwards to help me and to relive me from my pain and managed to get me in straight away. All of the staff was extra lovely and welcoming. Especially the receptionist. Felt like a very close relationship surgery, that make you feel a lot more at ease. I will be using this surgery from now on. Can’t recommend this surgery enough. It is the best one I have been too.

Fantastic experience: After debating for a while about having a implant,I had a consultation with DR Abbas, he explained the whole procedure to me and put me at ease, so I went ahead with it,Dr Abbas did the procedure and kept me relaxed throughout,he even phoned me that evening to check that I was still ok , It has given me my confidence back as I no longer have a gap when I eat and smile. Fantastic experience: Supported my friend in attending her appointment yesterday. She had been a heavy smoker for years and was so nervous and embarrassed, but very quickly the whole team, especially Prem the dentist put her at complete ease and made her feel so comfortable with no judgement! She walked into there shaking and came out with a very big smile on her face as she said she has never been made to feel that welcome & comfortable in all the years she has been to other dentists. Fantastic experience: Wow! What a great experience. Jodie was very helpful on reception, I have been in pain for the past two weeks and Jodie booked me in as a NHS emergency. Fantastic experience: Having deliberated about having dental implants for a couple of years, I finally decided to to take the plunge and started the process in 2023. My new implants were fitted in May this year. I found the whole procedure from start to finish stress free and Dr. Abbas was amazing, informative and always available to answer questions....even 'out of hours'. After a horrendous experience with my previous dentist and already a nervous patient, the reception staff (Jodie i believe) could not have been more helpful getting me in to see Prem Pithia today. From start to finish my experience was friendly, informative and professional. I was talked through what was happening at every stage and listened to with compassion about my past medical history. I have always felt anxious about a visit with the dentist but i was completely put at ease and although i need to attend again next week i do not feel nervous about it. Fantastic experience: Excellent treatment, staff very friendly, Especially Tammy at Reception and then Jayne the Hygienist. Jayne in particular made me feel very comfortable and at ease whilst I was having my treatment. I was seen on time, length of appointment was as it stated and I was able to get on with rest of day. I was a Private patient and really impressed with the online appointment system esp times available to suit all (& cost of treatment really reasonable). Will be booking my next appt in the next few months!

Fantastic experience: After a terrible experience 15 years ago my husband visited Nikol and his wonderful nurse Irina this afternoon for treatment. It’s going to be a long road but he is not afraid anymore and has had his faith restored in going to the dentist. A wonderful practice with lovely friendly helpful receptionists especially Tammy and amazing Dentists and Nurses…highly recommend this practice to anyone.

Fantastic experience: We like to come for our check ups with minimum fuss, in and out. We have always found the reception staff to be approachable and attentive, when my wife and I needed an urgent appointment on separate occasions because we were in pain, reception staff were able to arrange this quickly and give advice in the interim. Staff tend to stay at this practice which is advantageous for patients and existing staff and dentists are polite and professional.

I am a very nervous patient who has not visited a dentist for many years but the time had come where I could not put it off any longer. I am so pleased I chose this dentist. Today I had four extractions by Joanne, assisted by Nadean & Ellie. They made me feel they really cared, understood how very scared I was & were very reassuring, keeping me informed step by step & constantly asking me if I was ok, did I feel any pain, etc. I really felt I was in safe hands. Fantastic experience: Been a patient at this Practice for over 30 years my new Dentist Mr Abbas is excellent and has maintained the excellent character and service provided here, and provided a great legacy to Mr Najefi who built this practice from scratch he is ably assisted by his practice nurse Nadean. I've now had 2 long appointments for fillings, and they helped me through the procedures from start to finish with their kindness and consideration. Fantastic experience: Been going here for over 40 years, every 6 months. Had a check up yesterday and in the evening I broke a tooth. Rang this morning at 9. It is now 11, and tooth repaired. Joanne the dentist and Nadean made me feel relaxed. Long gone are the days of being scared to go to the dentist. Well done girls.

Fantastic experience: What can I say. A well run and efficient dental practice. Receptionists are extremely efficient, I have never had a problem. My Dentist, Dr. Abbas and Leoni are excellent. Both put you at your ease and make sure you are comfortable. Dr.Abbas explains fully and in layman's terms so you understand, what the treatment will be and the procedure. He never makes you feel worried. An experienced and excellent dentist. I hope he stays at Homesteads for a long time, I think I would find it difficult to trust another Dentist.

Fantastic experience: I phoned to ask for help for my husband a couple of months ago as he had a bad toothache but we didn’t have a dentist. The lady was so helpful ( I’m really sorry I can’t remember her name) and told me to get my husband to phone 111 and they would help from there to get him a dentist and to be seen. I’d love to hear when the books are open again here and would love to be a patient here just from my experience on the phone.

Fantastic experience: I have been with this dental practise for over 25 years and have always found all the staff helpful, calming and professional. I recently decided to have some veneers fitted. Dr Abbas and dental nurse, Irina were very calming and reassuring, listening to my indecisions regarding,"shades and getting that natural look" I did not feel pressurised and thank them for their care and professional skills , even if Dr Abbas does like to take the odd photo now and then.! I was also really looked after by the two dental nurses Nadean and Irina. On my last visit the lab tech Hussein assisted with the procedure. It was a pain free experience. Fantastic experience: I can not thank this dental practise enough. My 3year old son fell and hit his tooth causing it to be pushed back into the gum. I was only visiting the area. Although I used to live in Stanford Iv recently moved 3hours away. I called this dentist in a panic to get my son seen before travelling home. They see him free of charge that day. The dentist advised to get my son regularly checked at home by my local dentist. I have had no luck. No one will see my 3year old unless I pay £60 to go private. I contacted homesteads again to ask for help and although they cannot put him in a dentist themselves they have been incredibly helpful with giving me ways to try and get him seen. In particular Nadine. Thank you so much for trying your hardest to help my son. What a caring dental practice! Thank you again!

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency and they performed a tooth extraction on my request. I was very pleased with everything, very polite people all around you and they asked me every 2 minutes if I am ok or I can feel any pain. She was keep saying “you’re doing well, good job” to keep me strong during the procedure. I enjoyed every moment and they saved my day when I needed the most. Thank you! Fantastic experience: Excellent care and service. Dr Tosin is absolutely lovely with the children and puts us all at ease. Wanted to add that my son was very anxious today and Dr Tosin and Irina really went above and beyond to ease his fears so that he could finish his treatment.

Fantastic experience: Had an emergency appointment today. Was so pleased with the treatment I received. What a wonderful dentist and nurse. Prem & Ellie, am not very brave going to the dentist, but was reassured all the time by Prem, and explained at regular intervals what was happening and if I was okay. Can't praise them enough. Would thourghly recommend.
