Fantastic experience: I rarely leave reviews of anything but my experience at APPLETREE dental care was so good I had to share my experience. After much research I plumped for APPLETREE just over a year ago to have a variety of dental work done but primarily 3 implants. I have to say that the experience of being under the care of Mark, and his very capable assistant Rebecca, was as pleasurable and pain free as I would have wished from any visit to the dentist! All of the work process was well explained to me at the beginning of the process and immediately put me at ease. The treatment itself was very professionally executed and the outcome was fantastic. One year on and all is well other than a visit to have a little tightening up of one of my implants which was carried out so rapidly and painlessly that I described it as the nearest thing to a formula one dental “pit stop”! I would have no hesitation in recommending Mark in particular and the whole practice for their friendly, professional and efficient approach. I would warn you though that Mark is a frustrated stand up comic with some questionable “patter” but which all serves to make the visits to his chair to be surprisingly pleasurable!

Fantastic experience: Great place, staff v friendly and got urgent appointment and prescription from Dr Imaon Katebi. Dr Imaon Katebi very patient and good at listening/explaining. Just want to add - my partner is autistic and hates going to the dentist. Can’t praise the staff enough for how accessible they were with him during his treatment.

Fantastic experience: I came to Mark Sorrentino and Rebecca with a huge fear of the dentist but they’ve honestly been amazing. Every appointment I’ve been made to feel comfortable and taken care of. I’m so much happier with the changes I expressed to Mark that I’d like, he works to ensure you’re completely happy with the result. It’s been so much better than just a daunting treatment for me thanks to their friendliness. Thank yous both!

Fantastic experience: I recently had a dental implant with Dr Brendan Murphy at Appletree Dental Care. If you are looking for an implant I would highly reccomend Brendan and Appletree dental care. I recieved excellent dental care, which was good value for money. The whole team were very freindly and Brendan explained everything clearly. My dental implant feels and looks great, to the extend that I feel like I have my own tooth back!

Negative experience: prior to moving to live in Stornoway in 2021 I was a patient of Appletree for around 8 years. During that time I was treated by Rob Kirke, Mr Galbraith and Dr Murphy, all of whom provided an excellent service. Having made an appointment to discuss and treat a complex situation with a new dentist, I returned to Glasgow for a few days yesterday. This has been a complete waste of my time and the only way I can describe Dr Katebi is "disinterested". That man has much to learn about human relationships and I hope others have a more positive experience. I have now made arrangements to be treated privately back home on the Isle of Lewis, so will not be returning to Appletree Dental Practice. I would, however, like to praise Andrea for the help she provided getting me down the stairs with only one operational leg.

Fantastic experience: After considerable research and personal recommendations , I decided to go to Brendan at Appletree Dental Care for a programme of cosmetic dentistry. This included implants, crowns, veneers and composite bonding. I am absolutely delighted with the end result and can say with 100% honesty, the entire treatment was pain free. I could have gone to other practices and paid considerably more, but I do not feel I could have been happier with the result. Brendan and the team are friendly and put you at ease. Costs and treatments are fully explained. Would recommend to anyone considering cosmetic dentistry.

Negative experience: 100 pound front filling feel out after 6 months but also was ill fitted was ragged when i said filling should be smooth he said will work its way smooth with brushing ?? was also at same app to get cap fitted that i paid for at consultation, refused to do it had to ask for a refund for the cap ,which took 4 week to go back into my bank very shoddy ,wish i knew his name , also filling he fitted made my gum sore if pushed my tounge on gum on inside of moth behind filling and my gum would swell at other side of my mouth day filling feel out no more pain in gum thats went to different dentist filling perfect no pain in gum and smooth way it should be think some of theses private dentist not fit for dental school

Fantastic experience: I first met with Brendan and the team in 2020 to discuss Dental Implants. Brendan was very friendly and professional, and altho giving me some alarming and hard hitting news, I felt reassured that he and his team could help. Initially, this would involve treatment over several months to improve the health of my gums through appointments with Laura the hygienist. Her help and advice was first class, and thankfully we got my gums to a much healthier position allowing me to move onto the next stage of treatment. My next consultation with Brendan was to discuss ongoing treatment to include implants, tooth extraction, root treatment, bridges and porcelain crowns. At this early stage, I was given a detailed treatment plan with timescales for each part of the process. It was explained to me, that costs for each stage would require to be settled prior to treatment. Over several appointments my health was always top priority and throughout Brendan kept me informed of the next steps and any issues that may arise. My treatment has now finished with fantastic results, I have healthy gums, my teeth look great and I have my smile back! I have complete confidence recommending Appletree to anyone looking for attentive, professional dental advice. Costs are very reasonable, and not as much as you may think. Special mention to Rebecca and girls in the office.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Brendan. He was recommended to me by my own dentist as I was planning to have a dental implant. After a smooth extraction and excellent healing, a detailed X-ray revealed that unfortunately a dental implant was not possible on this occasion due to lack of bone density. The service was very professional and I was made to feel extremely comfortable. I would have no hesitation in returning.

Negative experience: Dreadfull dentist, my mother is till suffering from the results of over 10 visits to this place, was advised to leave by her GP!

Fantastic experience: Got bad toothache in my lower fist molar and the practice where I work as a dental labourer couldn't treat me. Appletree dental were fantastic. I got a private consultation the day I phoned and got my root canal treatment done quickly and proffesionaly. Both dentist and nurse were super friendly and made me feel so relaxed. Fantastic experience: I have heard so many stories of poor dental practice over the years. Appletree are at the very opposite end of the scale. Exceptional care from hygiene to treatment. Laura is a lovely, gentle hygienist - she takes her time and looks after you. Prevention is key, so I see her every 3 months. Brendan provides excellent dental care and patient centred treatment. I wouldn't go anywhere else - and I have recommended Appletree to numerous friends and family. There is a great family type atmosphere in the surgery. All of the staff, from reception to dental nurse, are lovely. I never have any nerves. In fact, often it's the most relaxing half hour I have! Last but not least, the charging is very competitive!

Fantastic experience: Brendan has been my dentist for many years and I have found him to be professional, efficient and helpful in all things dental. Laura, my dental hygienist is cut from the same cloth as Brendan, her work is flawless and entirely pain-free at every single appointment. I cannot recommend Brendan and Laura at Appletree and Crystal dental care highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I had 6 veneers and 2 crowns fitted to improve my terrible looking teeth. He is an amazing dentist and very nice and friendly. Prices are also fantastic and more affordable than you might imagine

Fantastic experience: Had several appointments with Dr Kirke to remove several amalgam fillings and replace with composite ones. I was very nervous on my first appointment but Dr Kirke made me feel at ease and reassured me all would be ok. He has restored my confidence in dentists as I have had a few that were not very caring of my anxieties. I can’t that him enough for all my work and I would also like to thank his dental nurse for all her work too. Really happy with the outcome.

Fantastic experience: For many months I researched different dental practices as I wanted to improve my smile. I even thought of going abroad but wanted the security of an experienced UK certified dentist. I am so glad that I found Appletree dental care for my treatment. From my first appointment with Mark I was won over by his knowledge and expertise around improving my smile. I choose to have all of my top teeth worked on 3 veneer crowns and the rest of my 9 top teeth veneered. Usually I am a very nervous when at the dentist but felt so reassured that I was in safe hands. I found the process totally pain free and experienced no sensitivity as Mark preserved nearly all my own tooth structure for the veneers. My teeth look bright and very natural the way I wanted to look. The cost of the treatment was discussed from the start and nothing else was added so you know what your paying no undisclosed fees. I highly recommend Mark to work on your teeth if you value your smile.

Fantastic experience: It gives me great pleasure to write this review of my experience at Appletree Dental Care. I have always been very very very nervous of going to the dentist due too bad experiences in the past. I have had four years of total misery with a broken front tooth and , bad fitting front plate which has totally taken away my confidence and smile. After recommendations from friends I summoned the courage to make an appointment. From my first consultation with Dr Brendan Murphy and his wonderful staff I knew it was the right choice. He reassured me that he wouldn’t do anything to heighten my fears or cause me any pain.we discussed the best treatment for me, which was Sedation to help me relax during treatment. Cap my broken tooth and replace my loose fitting plate along with a deep clean to bring back the brightness to my teeth. I would highly recommend Sedation to any one who is nervous of getting treatment. It is safe and carried out so professionally. Each step is explained fully and professional. I have COPD and have never been looked after so well. They are very caring and so patient with you which helps tremendously. Dr Brendan Murphy made me a promise on that first visit “ I will give you back your smile” today he fulfilled that promise. I walked out of Appletree Dental Care smiling from ear to ear. The compliments from family and friends has boosted my confidence even more. Fantastic experience: I couldn’t be happier with the service and results I received from Brendan and the friendly team at Appletree. I had six month smile ceramic braces, and from start to finish the whole process was seamless and I felt informed and looked after the whole way along. Negative experience: I wish to make a formal complaint as to how my husband was treated. It was his first (and last) time attending this practice. After waiting 2 months for an appointment, he arrived at the surgery. He waited for the receptionist to finish with the female in front of him in the queue, before being attended to. He was then told he was to be seen 'across the road'. he made his way to the other practice where the receptionist who was chatting on the phone, completely ignored him. When she'd finished talking on the phone, she asked him his name, upon giving it, she told him he was 10minutes late, and that the dentist wouldn't see him. He explained that he was sent over from the other practice and had to wait his turn in the queue, but she was adamant that he would not be seen. He was very annoyed at her rudeness and bad manners and just walked out.... I will also be putting a review onto Trust Pilot so that anyone who is thinking of joining this dental practice can have some idea of how the receptionist 'greets' the patients.

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a good and trusted Dental Clinic in Glasgow so I booked an appointment in Appletree based on the reviews and fair rates. Dr Brendan Murphy and his team took care of my dental plan (implant) and I could not be happier with their professionalism and friendliness. It’s obvious that they care and want to give you the best results. Also the clinic is always spotless. Five out of five!

Fantastic experience: I cannot recomend Robert the dentist and Andrea, the dental nurse enough. Honestly, he is thr best dentist I've been too, even the injection was pretty much pain free. I came here for cosmetic dentisrty,as I was unhappy with my smile, I got whitening done and also bonding with polishing. This was explained fully and the prices etc explained at the start too, no hidden surprises!! I was happy with the results and I am feeling much happier in myself as I was getting a bit fed up with my appearance. Not only was the work great, both Andrea and Robert were so genuine and friendly, n good sense of humour too lol, n nothing was too much for them and you always felt welcome coming here. In the chair when getting treatment I was asked a several times if I wanted a break or I was OK etc. I had a wee nosey around different dental practices online and the reviews here all seemed realy good and form start to finish of my journey I couldn't agree more either. Fantastic experience: I was referred to Appletree dental care as my local dentist does not provide private dental care. I initially got an implant done to replace a lower tooth I lost when I was a child. This procedure was painless and I was delighted to finally not have the tooth gap. My front teeth were chipping and the enamel was thinning causing discolouration which could not be whitened. My teeth had also become extremely sensitive . My previous very positive experience with Brendon at Appletree, gave me the confidence to book a consultation and then proceed with the procedures to improve, correct and protect my smile and teeth. I received crowns, veneers and white fillings. I am absolutely delighted with my new smile and I no longer cover my mouth when smiling. The cost was less than I expected, the teeth are very strong, look very natural and healthy, and my gums look healthy and great too. I would fully recommend Brendon and Appletree dental care. The staff and Brendon are extremely professional, very friendly and provide exceptional customer care.

Fantastic experience: Writing this review on behalf of My Dad Martin, 63. My dad had trouble with his teeth for years and they were in a really bad condition. He asked his friend who is a dental technician for some advice and he recommended Dr Brendan Murphy of Appletree Dental Care. Dr Murphy advised that he would require some extensive cosmetic work and the results are amazing! He has a brand new smile and it has given him more confidence, it is the best money he has spent in a long time! He gives the work carried out a definite 10/10 and would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have been worried about going to the dentist for 20 years. I have always wanted work done but put it off. I avoided going for routine appointments. I FINALLY braved it, did my research and went to Appletree Dental Care. I can honestly say my experience at Appletree has been life changing. Fantastic experience: I would 100% recommend Appletree and Crystal dental care to anyone looking for dental work or cosmetic dentistry. I began my treatments with them in 2019 and had what I would consider really poor tooth health. Given the option I would have had all my teeth replaced with veneers or crowns as I was soo upset with them. Dr Murphy advised me of the best option that would allow me to keep my natural teeth and still be happy with my smile. We opted for 6 month smile braces and other necessary treatments to make my teeth healthy. He explained to me on day one that what I originally wanted/expected wasn't what would be best for my teeth in the long run and I agreed with him. I went from having multiple broken and crooked teeth to a perfect smile and all the teeth in my mouth are my own with no veneers and only one crown on a tooth that was completely broken and what I thought would be unsalvigable. I now have straight healthy white teeth that will last me a life time and not 10 years like veneers and has been the best decision I could have made. I was even supported through covid lockdown over the phone with Dr Murphy when I had an abscess and he was quick to provide me treatment. The staff at Appletree are friendly and welcoming. Shout out to Rebecca who was really kind and was assisting through all my treatments and made me feel really welcome at the surgery at every visit. She even had the same braces as me in the past and forwarded me to the video of her getting them so I knew what I was in for. I also can't thank Laura the dental hygienist that gave my teeth a deep clean which I never knew I needed till I had it and my mouth never felt so clean and healthy. She even showed me (at 28 years old) how to brush and floss my teeth, which I was unaware I have been doing wrong my whole life and was contributing to my poor gum and tooth health. She was very kind and chatty which I liked and I learned a lot. Honestly couldn't say a bad thing about the place.

Fantastic experience: I was very apprehensive about getting dental implant and didn't know where to start so I googled local dentists and checked reviews and the reviews for appletree were outstanding the reviews also mentioned brendan and I was fortunate enough I got brendan would done my dental work and from start to finish he was professional kept me at ease and turned a scary experience in to a relaxing one his knowledge in the dentistry industry is unreal with years of experience and his team are also first class thanks so much team appletree highly recommended

Negative experience: My mother found this dentist after reading the glowing reviews she found on Google. However, this has turned out to be an expensive and painful mistake resulting in pain and damage to her gums. It seems the procedure to install my mum's three tooth bridge was executed poorly, resulting in an infection. This infection was not treated promptly because this clinic did not respond to my mother's calls for help. It was only after I called to complain that she was being fobbed off did they finally help her. She was in severe pain until they removed the poorly installed bridge. In total my mother paid £5000 for a botched job. The procedure and subsequent infection resulted in damage to her gums. She was then referred by this clinic to another dentist. Due to the damage caused she has been quoted approximately £8500 for corrective work and procedures to get the result she should have received in the first instance. We are now seeking full restitution and payment for the followup work which now needs to be performed. We are also considering a dental malpractice and negligence claim. This has been a nightmare and completely unacceptable. Edit: We have now received a restitution settlement to cover the costs of the required corrective work.

Fantastic experience: Due to covid I have been having issues with getting seen by my own dentist. I was recommended by a friend to try Appletree there where no issues. Everything was professional from start to finish the girls where so lovely and Brendan Murphy exceeded my expectations. I was in so much pain and was attended to straight away without hesitation so thankfully due to efficiency with all the staff I am now pain free thank you again Appletree. Would highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Hard for me to actually properly express in a review how valuable the treatment i've had with Brendan, Rob, Laura and their teams is to me - I finally plucked the courage up to visit Appletree at the end of 2019 after reading lots of feedback and the advice of some of my friends. After a bad dental experience over 12 years ago instilled a proper fear of dental work in me I was left in a position where I had to seek treatment. Today the 1st phase of the treatment I needed was completed (even more amazing given the current pandemic situation) - Apart from being elated with the results for me from a health and cosmetic view - it was more important to me on how I was dealt with as a patient - from day 1 of my consultation through to today the fact that the advice, work and surgery i have received is 1st class and the treatment has been painless, the real benefit i've gained is being able to attend a dental practice where everyone from top to bottom treats your case professionally, intelligently and compassionately - I genuinely thought last year I would never smile again without putting a hand in front of my mouth - can't stop smiling though now! Can't thank the Appletree team enough for getting me to this point.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a wisdom tooth extracted, which I was nervous about due to complications with another one that was removed years ago at a dental hospital. Brendan and Rebecca put me at ease from the start by being friendly, explaining each step and making sure the correct aftercare was followed. It’s been difficult for me to find a dental practice that I feel comfortable in but I’ve not got the usual future treatments dread, which is reassuring.

Fantastic experience: Great Dentist! From the girls at reception to Brendan & Laura. I've had a great experience on my journey so far. Always made to feel really comfortable & all treatment pain free. I knew from my first appointment that I had chosen the correct dentist, they answered any questions I had & always made me feel at ease. Fantastic experience: Had missing front teeth for many years and was too embarrassed to go to the dentist before. But finally plucked up the courage to go, and happy that I chose Appletree. Fantastic experience: Shame I don't have the before pictures to post here, but I can honestly say this has been the best investment I've made in years. I had previous work on my front 6 top teeth which had cracked and discoloured, and I was very self conscious about them. I can't believe how different I feel since I had them replaced with veneers and how natural they look. The guys at Appletree were really careful that every step of the process was right for what I wanted and checked everything with me along the way. Can't thank them enough for the great job they've done.

Fantastic experience: My name is Mark Taylor, I recently had a consultation with Dr Robert Kirke. Following this a plan was put together for me to get veneers and crowns, in total six. I had wanted to do this for ages. I am delighted with the results and also Rob’s professionalism. When getting my final fitting, he wasn’t happy with one of the veneers, I could see there was a minuscule gap, that if he hadn’t mentioned I probably wouldn’t have noticed. However he fitted it but arranged a further two appointments to get a new impression and fit the new one ( no charge). This was completed today Tuesday 3rd Nov 2020, and my smile and teeth look great.

Fantastic experience: I'm absolutely over the moon with the cosmetic dentistry done by Brendan! My new veneers look so natural and have exceeded my expectation. I had researched many places and had several consultations in and around Glasgow however I knew straight away I'd found the right dentist after visiting Brendan at Appletree. His wealth of knowledge and expertise was apparent right from the beginning and throughout my journey. Negative experience: Questionable practices = poor patient experience! I will try to explain as best as I can my case and my personal experience with the practice justifying the reasons for my 1-star review. My first “initial appointment” for teeth straightening treatment was with Rob and it went very well. He was very patient, friendly and answered all of my questions in detail. I received, what I believed is, all the necessary information to make an informed decision. In brief, at this “initial consultation” I was advised the following (by Rob): • Next appointment (X-ray, impressions taken for Invisalign) – no payment required at this stage except £30 for the X-ray. • Review appointment (discussing the proposed treatment plan, showing me the model of what my teeth would supposedly look like at the end of the treatment and discussing the timescale of the treatment) – £750 will be due at the end of the appointment if proceeding with a treatment OR £90 fee covering the impressions if I decide not to proceed with the treatment. • Post-review appointment (this is when you collect the trays from the practice). At the initial appointment I was also advised on the different finance options for the remaining amount assuming I would pay the £750 at the review appointment. The detailed information I received was very encouraging as I felt like I understood the process perfectly and I had the confidence to make a quick decision. Then, I booked my next appointment during which I got the X-Ray done and impressions taken. At the end of my appointment with Rob I was advised by him to go to reception and collect my treatment plan documents before I leave. At this stage, at reception the lady said I had to pay £30 for the X-ray and the £750 now (not what Rob said during the initial consultation). I challenged this and she went to speak to Rob, but he was with another patient so unable to solve the matter at this stage. So, I left the practice feeling a bit down as it looked like I was just not willing to pay what I was supposed to when I was just surprised that I was initially told something else. Not long after I left, I received an email confirming that I only need to pay the £750 at the “review appointment” if proceeding with the treatment (exactly what Rob said). Then the pandemic happened! Due to the lockdown I was unable to proceed with my treatment straightaway. Yesterday I received a call from the practice. The lady on the phone said that I would have to come again for impressions to be taken before proceeding as the last appointment was long ago (back in Feb). This was not a problem as it made sense, however this time, I was asked to pay £300 deposit for this appointment (this was never mentioned before, and it was also not the case 7 months ago when I went for the same type appointment). Something suddenly changed again. I explained what I was advised before and forwarded the last email containing that information. The lady's response was that after speaking with Mr Kirke at the practice I now have to pay only £150 non-refundable deposit for this appointment. Today, I received another email saying that in fact they can use my old impressions (suddenly changed their mind again) and I only have to pay £150 for a "digital treatment plan" to proceed... as advised by Mr Kirke. This made me feel very suspicious as they do not seem to know what they are doing. It appears as if they don't have standard practices rather, they were just coming up with a random amount/procedure every time I talked to them due to lack of internal communication. While I do not mind paying a deposit for a service, I DO mind not being told in advance at the right time i.e. during the initial consultation! This uncertainty made me feel uneasy and I lost complete confidence in the practice as I now cannot be sure what to expect (a bit of a scam-like feeling which you are not supposed to feel when you are about to embark on an expensive long-term journey concerning your health).

Fantastic experience: Got me a referral to their sister clinic for an appointment next day during lockdown for an emergency extraction. Very reassuring and offered loads of great advice about pain managment and put me at ease. Would highly rate.

Fantastic experience: I first went to Appletree Dental Care two years ago, after I broke several teeth in an accident. I was quite nervous, as my teeth needed a lot of work. Dr Murphy did a fantastic job, and he ensured that I was comfortable and pain free at all times. The staff are very friendly and the premises are clean and comfortable.

I had a very painful decayed and infected wisdom tooth with only a few days before moving to Germany. apple tree booked me in short notice even though I was not a patient with them. Robert is an excellent dentist and super friendly. (Original Text, Original Rating: 3 Stars I'm very upset to make this review so low-rated. Overall, I'd say my personal experience with this dentist has been quite good! I'm actually very pleased, and I have an upcoming appointment. For myself, it has all been okay. However, these feelings can't be equally echoed for my girlfriend. On December 2nd, she attended an appointment for what she believed would be a routine cleaning (something which I had been provided for free, before I had mentioned to the dentist that I was on Universal Credit). The Hygienist arrived late, by about 10-20 minutes. This much didn't bother her too much, she was a little annoyed, but not to the point of complaint. However, she felt that the appointment was then rushed for herself, saying that it felt very painful. She also complained afterwords for hours that her mouth was sore and didn't even feel that a complete job had been done. Afterwords, she was expecting the bill to be covered on the Universal Credit grounds that I had pre-established with the reception staff before, however for whatever reason the simple cleaning that I had received as complimentary before has been charged for £35. Further, the NHS section of the treatment - the X-Ray film - was also charged as well. She practically came home to me crying, and is adamant not to go back to this dentist again, as she worries that a similar experience will happen again. (Edit: She has previously had teeth cleaning done, and says it always felt amazing afterwords, so this is out of place for her.) Again, my personal experience has been absolutely fine - I expect that this is a routine mistake that has happened once or twice in it's operational history, but I cannot in good conscience give a 5 star review. I would really appreciate it if Appletree could get back to us, as I would love for amends to be made. I'd like this to be a 5 Star review, as I have stated that I like this dentist a lot. Dr. Kirke makes me feel very relaxed, and as a person with dentistry-related trauma, that is very important to me.)

Fantastic experience: I chipped my tooth and Apple tree dental was recommended to me by my dentist as he believed they would be able to do a grand job based on what I was looking for.. at first I was a bit unsure due to the fact that every dentist terrifies me however.. This is by far a dental Practice I’ll be coming back to over and over again if I need any treatment. The staff was first class and very well mannered and polite.. The girls at reception took time out their day to Make sure I was comfortable anytime I came in. Brendon who was my dentist took an interest in my person life and we spoke as if we have been Friends for years. I had to get the chipped tooth removed and replace with an implant which he completed and managed the whole process from start to finish amazingly. It was a long process however he made sure each stage was done to perfection, he made sure I was booked in at the appropriate times and communication was spot on. Even when I was late to an appointment he waited and ensured I was able to complete the treatment.. Surprisingly my fear of the dentist is gone and I’m truly at ease when I think about going to the dentist. Nothing but praises for this dental care!

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Brendan at Appletree by my dentist as a result of my front bridge (2 teeth) repeatedly falling out with the only option available via my regular dentist being false teeth. Further to a free consultation I proceeded with 2 dental implants with the overall treatment being relatively pain free and competitively priced. Now 3 months after completion of all the treatment I would recommend this treatment to anyone with similar problems / issues. The treatment received from Brendan and his staff at Appletree was very personal, professional and friendly.

Fantastic experience: After losing my front tooth to an abscess and being fitted with a dental plate, i was at my wit's end trying to tolerate the denture. I hated it!! After some internet research I made an initial free consultation appointment with Dr Brendan Murphy to inquire about an implant. After his clear and concise explanation I decided to go ahead with the implant and I can say that i'm really glad I did. Six months after starting treatment I had my final appointment today to check the tooth that was fitted two weeks ago and was discharged until a years time for a follow up. I am delighted with the result. Brendan and his staff were welcoming, professional and highly skilled in what they do. Fantastic experience: Outstanding service from this practice. I was looking for a practice to get dental implants done, and visited several different dentists for information and comparison. I knew as soon as I met with Brendan and his team here that this was the obvious choice of practice. Every other practice I visited was very commercial, but at Appletree I felt straight away like a patient instead of a customer - which was important, because I then felt like I was getting proper clinical care and advice, not advice driven by greed or profit (unlike at some of the other practices). At every other practice there was either a consultation charge just to see the dentist, or it was just a "Smile specialist" / dental nurse that seen you - it was refreshing to visit Appletree and get a free chat with the dentist who would actually be carrying out the procedure, giving his professional advice. Brendan explained the pro's and con's of both treatment options available to me, applied no pressure on either option, but gave me his professional opinions to help me come to a decision, and had a genuine appreciation for the fact that proposed treatment plans were expensive, and it was a big decision that needed some time to thin about. The same treatment plan at other practices was consistently about 30% more expensive - and Appletree's costs are so transparent there wasn't any surprises with costs involved. Once my treatment started, Brendan and the whole team went out their way to make me feel relaxed, and nothing was too much hassle. I did initially think that in my case, saving over £2000 going here that it was too good to be true, but quickly I realized that was not the case, and there was no catch - so don't be put off by Appletree's excellent prices! After 5 months or so, my treatment is complete and the end result looks much better than I could even have imagined! Implants have replaced crowns I previously have, and it actually looks better, and feels stronger than before when I had my own teeth crowned! Can't recommend this practice enough, and delighted I choose Brendan 's Practice for my treatment. Keep up the good work! :-)

Negative experience: Following twenty years of going to a wonderful dentist who I actually looked forward to seeing. I was referred to Brendan Murphy and I was very disappointed. ....all the great reviews raised my expectations however I was given a fairly grim assessment and told he could do nothing for me except extractions. I explained I would like to be treated as an NHS patients and he said I would be referred to Rob. I have just realised that I have missed the appointment (but am perfectly willing to pay for Robs wasted time). I now feel afraid and embarrassed to go back. Maybe this assessment is correct but Brendan your delivery and attitude was cold, unhelpful and impersonal. Try a little warmth and friendliness towards new patients Brendan or your attitude will take dentistry back to the dark ages. I see all your positive reviews are for cosmetic treatment which obviously makes people feel wonderful and basic salvage work is maybe below you now (that's how I felt). Fantastic experience: I recently had an implant at this practice after a recommendation from a friend. Brendan was charming and I felt extremely confident that he was going to do a great job from the first consultation and that was indeed the case. I'm absolutely delighted with my new implant and the treatment and service I received at this practice. Of the rest of the staff, the dental nurses are great and the receptionists are really helpful and go out of their way to accommodate appointments. I only came to this practice for an implant as my original dentist didn't do implants but I have now changed to this dental practice. Also Laura the Hygienist is the best and most effective hygienist I have ever been to. I have since recommended my husband who has also had an implant and had an equally good experience with Appletree Dental Care.

Fantastic experience: I recently had some cosmetic filling's placed on my front teeth by Brendan and I am absolutely delighted with the result. I have had a gap between my front teeth all of my life and was very self conscious of it. Being a dental nurse for 14 years I am fully aware of the different treatment options available to close the gap and I knew exactly what I wanted. After some research I chose to visit Brendan for a consultation where we discussed some treatment options. Brendan was able to give me the treatment I wanted and I now have the confidence to smile that I have never had before. Very very happy and will visit Brendan in future for further treatment.

Fantastic experience: Review of implant for front upper tooth After number of years my front upper tooth root had resorbed which left it unstable and loose. This was pretty traumatic for myself. After researching a number of options and going for a number consultations, Brendan and his team really stood out making me feel at ease. The process was excellent and result is I have an implant that feels and looks better than I could hope for. I can't recommend the guys highly enough. If you are looking for an implant go see them straight away! Finance option was very easy process. I would give 6 out of 5!

Fantastic experience: I can thoroughly recommend Brendan and his team. The whole process of an implant was well explained as were the time frames. The time and effort he put into the process was incredible. I use an anti snoring device and the care he took (and the work he did) to ensure it still fitted after the implant was in place was amazing.
