Fantastic experience: Lovely Dentist to visit. Excellent service from Reception to Dentistry . Lovely spacious waiting room with the very important toilet on site Good visit again, friendly staff, my appointment was for 11.45 and I was seen on time . Again I can't fault the service , my appointment was at two p.m and I was seen on time. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, it was a pleasure to visit my dentist again .

Negative experience: I went to this dental clinic for my daughters appointment, as she wanted braces as she felt insecure. However, the dentist said that the NHS doesn't allow her to get braces, so she pressured that she doesn't need it and if she wanted braces then we should go to a private dental clinic. And My daughters jaw made sound whenever she ate, so the dentist said to fake bite, but it doesn't work like that, such a sill question

Fantastic experience: No long wait today, although it seemed busy. Hygenist appointment today. After having a deep clean with a dentist I said I would never do it again. Today's session has made my gums bleed. I don't think I will be seeing a hygenist there again. Why do people not describe what they are going to do and the pluses and risks and let you make a choice? I thought it was going to cost £44. It cost £88 and I am on My Options. Why does no one do work the old and gentle way? This week I had an appointment to fill one of my frint teeth. I had to wait a few weeks, but that was over Christmas, so understandable. The procedure was pain free, fairly quick and the dentist did an amazing job - very pleased, thankyou! Yesterday I had an appointment as one of my crowns had fallen out. They fitted me in very quickly which I appreciated. They replaced the crown with a filling as the old crown was chipped. Pain free process. Very satisfied, thankyou! Yesterday I had a 6 monthly check up. No long wait which was good. Dentist does listen to what I say. All ok for now which is a relief. She talked to me about teeth cleaning and suggested I go back to using my electric toothbrush, and use Cordisol.

Fantastic experience: I had not been to my dentist for a while for various reasons and I am now somewhat disabled. I had a Dentist who showed me the utmost curtesy and help. He explained everything he was doing and why, which I very much appreciated. I would gladly use this particular Dentist again. Have booked again for 6 months time. Thank you all for a great service. Positive experience: 1. Dentist didn't introduce herself (I still don't know her name) 2. Dentist didn't ask how I was. Not a good 'bed side manner'. 3. They need clip boards for patients to fill out paperwork. I work in a clinical setting and the above 3 statements are truly important to keeping patients happy, comfortable and look after.

Fantastic experience: Appointment for alot of very small fillings, no drilling needed as Rosti explained no decay, so no injections. It was an hours Appointment and my jaw was begining to ache, but the dental nurse kept asking me was I ok and how much longer before a rest. Rosti stopped for a bit and he explained how much longer and what he was doing. He was very thorough and both were very kind. Very pleased with the outcome.

Negative experience: Had two small holes on my tooth and the dentist drilled the two together so he could put them together. He didn't rebuild my broken tooth either, he just covered it up without any cleaning. I've been going to dentists for a long time, but none of them have been this unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: As a very anxious person visiting the dentist, my visits over the last two weeks have been a somewhat pleasure. Although the reason for visit was unpleasant (deep clean and treatment for a dental abscess) I cannot thank Risto (Dentist) and Lauren (assistant) enough. Lauren was incredible and making me feel calm and at ease and put my anxiety at bay. Risto was patient and friendly and just got the job done in a professional and friendly way. Both paid attention to how I was in the chair and stopped as and when I needed making me feel in control. The reception staff were equally as incredible and I'm not actually nervous for my next visit. I usually have local anaesthetic when having treatment but I had none today and have been fine other than a little discomfort. A huge thank you to the team.

Negative experience: I refuse to have anymore treatment from this place! My dentist i was currently registered with had several rejections then months later I was accepted by MyDentist outram road . I had a call from the reception they were lovely but I wasn’t told to bring headphones to my sedation appointment until I was there , I also swore a bit due to needle phobia an the dentist told me not to swear! Like excuse me! …i apparently was trying to fight the nurses due to the drilling I was hearing an the cold feeling on my tooth which I was pretty much sort of aware of! Very traumatising for me cause I felt uncomfortable during the drilling process I remember saying ‘’Ow’’ a few times and the dentist didn’t once stop to ask me if I was okay! They just apparently held my hands down!! absolutely disgusting, so I ain’t no longer being with these people again for the rest of my filings! I’ve spoken to my dentist a told them I want to be referred to someone else so I’m waiting for a call back regarding that! If your a nervous person,have a fear of needles ect do not go to this dentist they don’t treat you how your supposed to be treated it’s like there fed up of us people an just want to get the job done!

Fantastic experience: i originally came here through a referral from my old dentist for sedation due to my fear of needles and dentists i have been over 3 times for sedation twice through the nhs and once privately and no difference in care ive been given all times treated with the most respect (i also am 28 who walks round in tracksuits so used to being judged but not here ) i have mental health and within that severe anxiety and have never felt more relaxed ! i personally dislike receptionsist as find them rude but linda espically who works here has always gone above and beyond to help me and does her best by everyone and has supported me no end ! winn the dental hyginst who i saw privately today he is such a kind and gentle man who actually cares ! never had more postive things to say and im a very negative person ! only issue i have had from 1 person and when i told the reception it was delt with very quickly ! cant wait to have my bonding done in a couple months thankyou mydentist and linda espically for helping me so so much also theres a guy in the reception too whos always full of smiles and makes everyone feel so comftable with his energy :)

Negative experience: I was referred here to have some fillings done under sedation. I was waiting several months for them to schedule an appointment for me, but heard nothing. I later found out that my referral was rejected as they "hadn't been able" to contact me. I can assure you that no contact was attempted; I received no letters, emails or phone calls. For anyone looking to have dental work done under sedation, I'd strongly advise that you look somewhere else.

Negative experience: Been going to this practice for over 20 years, the service received has declined each and every year they are a terrible dental service. Have been told to keep calling back at a later date to get my children an appointment this message has been repeated for the last 3 years. They have kicked off all NHS patients and have not even informed any of their customers! Just be honest and tell us you are not seeing NHS patients that way we can try and find a dentist who is!!!!

Negative experience: Payed 89 pound as a private individual as I'm in absolute agony to be told this appointment is to releave me from pain after poking and prodding the bad tooth taking a xray and not looking at my note decides removal is the cheapest option and instead of refuring me to hospital as my notes state says I'm having to come back here to have it done and tells me to continue to take paracetamol yet I'm sat here in absolute agony still not heard anything extreamly disappointed

Fantastic experience: I am a very nervous patient due to having a dentist as a child who was.. less than kind. My mum rarely took me which lead to my teeth beginning to deteriorate in my teens. Then anorexia and bulimia took hold, worsening my already fragile teeth. By the time I was 23, I had impacted wisdom teeth, a broken molar and more cavities than I could count but I was terrified to seek out a dentist. Covid happened and it made it even harder to even find a dentist. However I became determined not to pass on my dental phobia to my children and finally got myself registered with the Windsor My dentist branch. Granted it’s an hour drive from me, but they had NHS vacancies AND nervous patients raves about them. My first appointment went great but I needed a lot of work done and it was agreed sedation would be best. As luck would have it, there was a my dentist sedation clinic down the road from where I live! I went there yesterday to get half of the work done and once the sedation wore off at home and I saw my teeth, I honestly cried tears of happiness. It’s been so long since I’ve been able to smile without embarrassment. I don’t remember the dentists name (sedation is great stuff but messes with your memory) however it’s the male dentist who does the sedation clinics. Within MINUTES of me being in the chair, I was sedated and eyes covered and had a blissful half an hours snooze basically. Didn’t feel a thing. Didn’t panic. Didn’t even cry. NHS or private, if you’re a nervous patient, don’t go anywhere else. These people take your fear seriously and get you medicated within minutes of sitting in that chair and they do a PHENOMENAL job on your teeth. I can’t stop grabbing the mirror to smile. I’m honestly lost for words. And we’re only half done, I can’t wait to finally have a mouth full of HEALTHY teeth. I will never go anywhere else for me or my family. I love the receptionists and dental nurses as well. They’re always so light and bubbly and generally just make you feel at ease. I never thought I’d see the day where I’d be ranting and raving a good dental review, but here I am. From the bottom of my heart. Thankyou. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Negative experience: Zero stars!!! Terrible customer service. Refused to provide emergency treatment for an abscess beneath a molar because "my dentist no longer worked for them so there was nothing they could do" Just left me dead in the water in agonising pain! Will never use them again.

Negative experience: Deregistered me and my family without prewarning us because we didn't attend when covid prevalent. Now too full to take us on. Receptionists were always rude on the phone. Dentists were fab though so I'm gutted.

Fantastic experience: I know that our NHS services are under duress at the moment, however I wanted to celebrate an excellent service my son and I received in April this year. We arrived and were seen at our exact appt time, our Dentist was patient and personable. It was a very informative conversation about both our dental health and some top tips. We had such a good visit and felt really looked after. Big shout out to the staff in Southsea!

Negative experience: I came here yesterday to get some fillings and a tooth removal (which I also paid for) and they only gave me fillings even though I have 1 tooth that has tooth decay on it and he decided to just put a filling into it and now I have a terrible tooth ache which they won't resolve until they have the paler work again. I am also have a huge fear of the dentist and he wasn't helping the situation and made me more nervous than I was when I came in. The nurses that were there did help calm me down though which is probably the only reason I stayed. These people have a duty of care to make sure they do everything correctly and yet he made me feel worse and made the pain worse too.

Negative experience: Service has gone downhill, telling patients to rub toothpaste on cavities and cancelling appointments without replacements.

Positive experience: The staff are friendly and welcoming. My dentist, Mariya, is very gentle and reassuring through the treatment and care. Unfortunately I lost a filling after a few hours, but have had a lot of trouble with that tooth in the past, so it is an ongoing problem. I have decided to wait 6 months to resume treatment. Mariya was very understanding and I look forward to getting the tooth treated next year.

Fantastic experience: I have been scared of being hurt by the dentist for a long time, because I have been hurt by previous dentists. Vanessa has been amazing, keeping me calmer whilst trying to get her work done. Each time I go I gain a little more confidence than the previous time. Not to be judged or made to feel silly has meant so much to me. Vanessa is so sympathetic and professional. I live over an hours driving distance away from the practise, and I won't go to any other dentist.

Negative experience: Receptionist was very rude on the phone today and spoke over me for every sentence I was trying to say. She also hung up before I could explain the full reason I was phoning.

Negative experience: The dentist pulled my daughter's wrong tooth and charged £99 for it. I paid for a check-up which was not done. My daughter had a check-up appointment with Ionut Ciuca. I also asked him to remove an unwanted little bit of milk tooth. Mr Ciuca removed my daughter's wrong milk tooth without any warning or anaesthesia. He was very rough. Then I told him that was not the tooth I wanted to be removed, so he then removed the correct little bit of tooth. He then tried to pull out another two milk teeth that were not ready to come out yet. My girl was worried before the appointment, and now she is absolutely terrified of the dentist. He didn't check my daughter's other teeth at all. I have seen many different dentists in my life, but this was the worst, most unprofessional dentist that I have met.

Fantastic experience: myDentist in Outram Rd, Southsea - a superb dental practice! I have a strong dental phobia and everything about this practice helps put me at ease. The receptionists are lovely, in person and on the phone; the waiting room is light and airy and not too close to the sound of work being done in the surgeries; and the dentists have all been understanding and patient with my phobia and happy to work with me to reduce my anxiety. Most recent appt was with dentist Vanessa and nurse Emma - just brilliant! Thank- you!

Fantastic experience: I am extremely nervous and avoid the dentist until I’m in agony, but all the dentists and dental nurses here are amazing, so kind and caring, never judgemental or negative. Today I saw Vanessa straight away she saw I was nervous and she couldn’t have been any kinder, both her and the nurse were amazing, put me at ease, so nice Infact I made another appointment.

Negative experience: Very poor customer service. The receptionists are passive aggressive. They surgery cancels appointments all the time and to reschedule your looking at another 3 month wait. They don't see you at your scheduled time. Waited 25 minutes to be seen once, the dentist wasn't even in the building he came in late through the back door. Other times waited 15 minutes each time.

Negative experience: Badly trained staff, Mixed messages, Very poor customer service 0/5 AVOID AT ALL COSTS, if you find going to the dentist in any way stressful. My dentist in Lymington referred me to this dental practice in Outram Road, Southsea for two teeth to be removed. I arrived 30 mins early as requested, filled in the forms I had brought with me, as their printer wasn't working, one tick of many including stating my escort was staying with me during the procedure. As it was a sunny day, my husband then said to the dental receptionist he was going to go for a walk, as he was parked right outside and she said the treatment would be 45 mins to an hour and when he came back to go upstairs and wait in the waiting room, so he said he would be back in 45 mins (which he was). When my treatment was due, they said they couldn't do it, because my escort wasn't there, even though the receptionist knew he had gone for a walk and could easily have told him he had to wait, as it was a requirement to enable my treatment to proceed. I was then informed she was new, but the fact that she hadn't been trained properly was not her fault. I couldn't reach my husband, and even though he was back well before my treatment time was due to end, they would not do the procedure. This was a round trip of over 4 hours for us and a total waste of a day. Apart from one helpful dental nurse, the rest of the staff were totally unhelpful, and had a very poor attitude, especially as this was a procedure that I had been anxious about. The escort information sheet that my husband read this morning, mentioned nothing about him having to stay! And we both thought that this was like the information saying the customer toilets were closed due to covid, which when we got there was untrue. The only reason a second more experienced receptionist could give me why my escort had to be there - was to escort me off the premises, which as stated he was there for. If you want to go to a job's worth dental practice, then this is the one for you. If you want a caring, professional, flexible and polite practice, avoid this one at all costs.

Positive experience: Reception staff helpful and kind to my 4 year old despite all the restrictions with Covid. Saw Dr Harry and nurse Roshin. Both were very reassuring and when treatment was required they talked my son through it, nurse holding his hand and dentist showing how all the instruments worked on his hands before treating ( e.g. suction). Very pleased with our experience today

Negative experience: Unfortunately, like most NHS dentists, they have effectively abandoned the overwhelming majority of their patients. Unless you're screaming in agony, you can't get an appointment. They have made no attempts to contact their patients, or offer any sort of timescale as to when procedures will be put in place to offer anything other than 'emergency' care. The website and phone processes are designed to deflect any further enquiry.

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment here for a filling under sedation. Prior to my appointment communication was good, friendly and helpful. We arrived very early Yet that was all fine, they had a cancellation so I was lucky to get seen early. The sedation was brilliant!!, the dentist explained everything he was going to do.. def recommend here.

I am one of these people that are actually petrified of dentists, but vanessa put me at ease (as she knows exactly what I'm like) she is so considerate and makes sure you are comfortable every step of the way.
