Fantastic experience: I recently signed up as a new patient and had my first appointment yesterday, with my two children, aged 2 and 4. The reception staff were so welcoming and the practice appeared newly refurbished (and immaculately clean). The dentist and assistant were amazing, and very thorough, but also extremely good with the children, which was great considering this was our 2 year olds first time seeing a dentist. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Priya and Paige are so lovely. I got my braces put on almost 3 years ago and now I’ve had my retainers and today was my last appointment over my journey they have been the best and always made me feel at ease you couldn’t ask for a better team! Thank you both so much.

Negative experience: I know other people with a different dentist at this practice and they have a good experience, but also others with the same dentist as mine and negative experiences. Every appointment is delayed by at least 30 mins, I used to assume this was because of appointments but on one appointment I was the only person in the waiting room and could hear the dentist speaking another language on the phone, several times the dental nurse went in to check and he said it won't be long. Eventually they got me in and he spent most of the time talking to the dental nurse about how much his house has gone up since he bought it. His bedside manner is next to nil and when you ask a question he just shuts you down. Once he told me to make an appointment for a filling and when I turned up he said I was there for a check up despite recently having one, when I disagreed he said he dosnt have time to do or he would and that reception didnt book enough time for a filling. 2 out of 3 fillings that I have had with this dentist failed and needed a root canal whilst I understand this can happen his bedside manner is so bad that it leaves you wondering. On the last one when I asked how my tooth was dying he just rudely said "because bacteria got in so now its dying" and turned away back to his screen. Luckily I now have a new dentist and what a difference in bedside manner, they actually took 30 seconds to show me the xray and explain what was going on. I have so much more confidence in them as the bedside manner makes a huge difference.

Positive experience: The orthodontist priya and the assistant paige are brilliant! 2 years of back and forth for my sons braces and they explained everything each time and had some laughs with my son to keep him at ease.Very professional throughout. Shame I can't say the same about a receptionist. When trying to explain something that needs to be changed, all they done was talk over me when I was trying to explain the reason for my call and didn't have much of an answer for what I needed.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had her braces removed today and we cannot thank Priya and Paige enough for the fabulous work they’ve done! My daughter is over the moon with her beautifully straight teeth. She's told me every aspect of her treatment has “been 100% worth it!” and I couldn’t agree more. At the start of her treatment though, I quite thought the process of moving my daughter’s very crooked, overlapping teeth would be a very painful and difficult task, but I hadn’t counted on Priya and Paige’s expertise. They looked after my daughter so superbly well that she almost looked forward to her trips to the surgery and felt very comfortable in Priya and Paige’s care. And her teeth have straightened up their act really quickly and without much discomfort. Priya and Paige are very much a dream team and we count ourselves very lucky to have had their friendly and professional help. Thank you both for giving my daughter back her smile!

Fantastic experience: Had to book an emergency dentist appointment due to severe pain. I got in on the same day I rung. I did have to wait for my appointment abit longer than the appointment time but that was OK. Sheril was absolutely amazing when it came to taking my wisdom tooth out, she kept talking to me during the procedure so did her assistant they was both very reassuring

Negative experience: Daughter just left your dentist awful upset with some Irish dentist who had no patience with her in making a discussion on a tooth out or root canal told her if she miss another appointment she would be struck off and while she was thinking what road to take regarding her tooth he said come back in 6 months time me and my wife can sympathy with my daughter because we have all had bad experiences with this place I'm fuming

Positive experience: I have no problems with the dental work I have recieved as a pretty new patient here. The only problem I find is having an appointment thats been booked three weeks before and then getting a call the day before that appointment to be asked to change my appointment time, to then recieving a further call on the day of my appointment informing me no dentist person is available and asked to then make a further appointment. Pretty disappointing considering you've already waited three weeks or more for this very important appointment date to arrive. Even more frustrating when your in the middle of a set programme of dental work like I am at the moment which has to be done at set times in a particular order of work.

Fantastic experience: As a family we see Adrian. He’s always happy and caring. He’ looks after our needs very professionally. Him and his nurse Sarah-Jane have an excellent working relationship with lots of respect for each other. I’m always greeted with a friendly smile. We are glad to have Janine back as she is a friendly face we have missed. Janine goes above and beyond to help us book our appointments around our hectic schedule.

Positive experience: Always great care and professionalism from every member of staff I’ve ever dealt with in here (and I’ve been a patient for many years). I have put 4 instead of 5 simply because of the length of time you have to wait for an appointment now there are less and less dentists for people to use.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Priya as your orthodontist. Two years ago my daughter started her orthodontict treatment with her. She was very thorough and always explained each step to us. My daughter had a abnormally large over bite, with a mixture of other mis-alignments and with the help of this treatment and the double block brace she now as the perfect smile. Priya and not forgetting Paige, are like the dream team. They are very friendly, professional and work very well in synch with one and other. They ensure that their patient is aware of what's happening and is at ease at all times. If your looking for a five star service I'd highly recommend visiting these two. I look forward to continuing the journey with my son and seeing the end results for him. Thankyou both so much.

Fantastic experience: Well what can I say but fantastic dentists I am a very very very nervous patient I’m terrified of the dentist but these dentists here were absolutely amazing they made me feel very comfortable and talked to me the whole time reassuring me although I was shaking and scared I still felt at ease with them, I had been in several weeks before with an infected tooth and Tom the dentist who did my teeth was just awesome he reassured me and he got my teeth out super quick. A few weeks later I felt the onset of another abscess so I went straight back and thank god they said the same dentist will do my tooth and same as before his man made me feel at ease and we got through it the, his assistant was also amazing holding my hand and telling me everything was ok. I felt very weak after the second visit and still they got the fan out and kept me there until I felt better What a fantastic dentist practice all staff were lovely and I am so happy I’m a client there 5 stars all the way if I could give them 10 I would

Fantastic experience: I recently visited Tredegar Bupa Dental clinic. As a very nervous patient, my first appointment I was very anxious. I had quite an extensive dental treatment plan and alot of appointments to treat my issues. I have to say in these past 6months I have gone from being a wreck to being comfortable visiting my dentist and finally able to smile with confidence. My dentist Cian O'Regan was very sympathetic and understanding of my anxiety , he talked me through procedures, options and treatments with ease. I am very pleased with the standard of dental work I have had done, but more so I am happy to have had such a lovely dentist who has also now fixed my dental anxiety. Thank you Cian & all at Bupa

Negative experience: Long time user pre bupa, returned today after long break(not mentioning covid) only to be told i was no longer patient, and would be put on list and if slot came up they would call, not that my pain mattered. But if i was willing to go private i could be seen right away, receptionist also referred to building as factory.

Fantastic experience: Chris is a amazing dentist. We owe him loads what he done for Callum. Considering no other dentist could treat my son because of his anxiety. Chris was excellent with him from day 1. And understood my son needed more reassurance. Now callum have had 4 fillings and a tooth extraction with Chris. All other local dentists wanted my son 2 have sedation goes to show bupa is way above them all and there staff. And we are really greatful what how help our boy. Thanks Islip family
