Fantastic experience: I had such a bad experience last time (with Sushma), that I was very worried coming back for a second time for my hygiene appointment HOWEVER this time it was Claire and she was amazing. Claire is calm, friendly and made me feel at ease from the moment I walked in. Claire ensures you understand the process and gives you top tips in a very friendly manner. This is my first positive experience at this Dentist and I will now only be booking with Claire!

Negative experience: Unfortunately, I feel forced to update my 5-star review. I have been a client of Bupa Dental for over five years and have spent a considerable amount of money at this clinic. I have always appreciated the professionalism and care of the dentists and have provided positive reviews for their excellent work. However, my experience with the receptionist, Darrelle Harvey, was unpleasant. I called to clarify an email about my appointment and, despite understanding why the practice now requires a deposit due to my past missed appointments, I found her attitude rude and unhelpful. When I expressed that I didn’t feel the action was entirely fair, she became agitated rather than offering understanding or support. I also had a previous instance where the clinic mismanaged my booking, causing me to lose work hours, yet I remained understanding. It was disappointing that, despite my loyalty and respect for the practice, I felt dismissed during this interaction. I hope the practice can ensure that all staff provide the same professionalism and courtesy that the dentists themselves do.

Fantastic experience: Had dental implants ministered by Sam & Tim and must say very professional, polite and efficent. Problems were dealth with very promptly and happy with the final results. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to share my great experience of the dental care and treatment I have received for more than 15 years from Fausto Santi. Fausto is an extremely skilled dentist and knowledgeable in his discipline. He is very thoughtful about your particularly needs and always listens very carefully to any queries that you may have. He takes the time to respond to your queries in a very clear and straightforward way. Fausto has really gotten to know me as an individual and I can't recommend him enough. I know that the maximum number of stars I can give Fausto is 5 our of 5 on this review. However, if I had the opportunity I would give Fausto 6 stars! Many thanks for all your time and effort Fausto.

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience with Dr Ross Hughes and the team throughout my Invisalign treatment. From the very first consultation they made me feel informed and confident about the process and it was great to see images at the beginning of how my teeth would look at the end of the treatment. I am so happy with the results and at 60 it’s never too late to get the look you’ve always wanted, I’ve never had so many compliments about my teeth. Would highly recommend Dr Ross !

Fantastic experience: Dr fausto Santi is a brilliant dentist. They make a great team with his lovely assistant Danielle. Almost a magician performing miracles, & the new state of the art dentist chair doesn't cut you in half either. No need to pull rabbits out of hats to keep your teeth tip top, just go and see these two and you'll leave with a bright smile on your face. I know I do !

Negative experience: Staff were poor and unhelpful. I requested to know how much my appointment would be and provided my membership number; to which they told me they couldn’t find out for GDPR reasons and I would need to download an app. This is after I was told we could figure out the cost post the appointment. I find disappointing that two staff sitting at reception were incapable if giving me a price for my appointment.

Fantastic experience: Excellent dentistry Skills by Dentist Tim. Had two implants fitted 12 years ago - I wish all my teeth were implants. Thank you. Had a further implant fitted today 20/02/2025 by Tim the Dental Surgeon - Excellent Thank you! Also Kayleigh, the practice manager sorted an administrative issue swiftly - Thank you!

Fantastic experience: The treatment I received from Tim Bryant has changed my life. I had lost all my confidence when talking to people and could no longer eat my favourite food without pain. Tim is easy to talk to and listens to any concerns you may have, treating you as an individual. I only wish I could have accessed this treatment years ago.

The receptionists Helen and Joe are lovely they are so welcoming and easy to talk to, also they calmed me down when I thought I would be having a injection(serious needle phobia) but they were excellent as all the reception staff are. My dentist Mahesh, Danielle and Sam are brilliant with the information and advise they give me aswell as answering all my questions, I'm so happy that I'm able to go to my dentist feeling calm and like I'm visiting friends. Also I was at this dental practice as a child and I was pleased it hadn't changed it still had the same welcoming atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Recent dental emergency and struggled to find any local dentists that could provide immediate help. Contacted Bupa Dental Glous Road and spoke to Darrelle who couldn’t have been more helpful. She was incredibly empathetic to my situation, signed me up and had me booked in within days. I was seen by dentist Mahesh and a dental nurse (whose name I didn’t get) and they were also amazing. I was so anxious and they put me at complete ease and a plan in place for me. Thank you all so much.

Everyone I’ve met has been so helpful and lovely and the whole practice has a great vibe. Special shout out to the dentist Ross and Indeah , his nurse. Fantastic experience: The Bupa dental practice on Gloucester Rd is really really good. Fausto and Danielle have been looking after my family for a number of years now and could not recommend them more highly. They work really well as a team, very attentive and professional. Both are relaxed company which helps to settle any nerves especially with the children. Danielle is fun and diligent at the same time and seems to second guess Fausto’s every move. Whilst on a personal note for me I think Fausto is a awesome dentist; to the effect that recently an anaesthetist couldn’t distinguish Fausto’s composite work and my enamel then going on to say that it was the best he’d ever seen amongst all his hospital patients!!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Hayley (Sohail) at Bupa Dental Practice on Gloucester Road for many years and the treatment has been exceptional. From professional advice to resolving any problems early preventing what could have turned into bigger issues later on. Any work such as replacement fillings and crowns have stood the test of time and I was even seen out of hours for an emergency. You cant ask for better service than that !

Fantastic experience: Haille is far and away the best dentist I have ever used. He is professional and skilled and has a manner which is reassuring and induces confidence. His care and compassion is fundamental to ensuring you trust his advice and all treatment decisions are made in the full knowledge of all information and options. Just in case I sound like an AI bot I will also add that he is a top fella and nice guy - my wife agrees.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience at Bupa Dental Care by Mahesh & Danielle yesterday. First family appointment with 2 year old son & was very nervous. Danielle was awesome! She was able to set up Paw Patrol on the TV to entertain my son while I had my check up & settle him when they had to leave the room for X-rays. They were able to keep my son calm for his routine check up. Highly recommend, very professional whilst being warm and friendly. Brilliant service, thank you both.

Sohail has been incredible throughout this time from the initial root canal treatment to the more complex restorative treatment I’ve had in recent months. Fantastic experience: The practice was fine but the service I received from my dental surgeon Christy Williams was exceptional and the 5 stars are for her

Negative experience: Arrived 6mins late for an appointment due to traffic following an accident. Tried calling several times on route but no answer. When arrived was told it was very busy hence no-one answering the phone. The waiting room was completely empty. Was then told the dentist had refused to see me as was more than 5 mins late and this would delay him too much for the next appointment. Seen as it the bank holiday weekend I'm guessing he just wants to get home early. Needless to say I won't be going back!

I hadn't visited the dentist in 8 years or so due to a bad experience but Ross was kind, gentle and considerate during each appointment. He even called me between appointments to check how I was doing. Ross' approach has reassured me visiting the dentist isn't so bad after all! Highly recommend - especially for nervous patients.

Fantastic experience: I joined this practice a few months ago after a friend recommended I book with Dr Steven Neal. A negative experience with a previous dentist had led me to avoid all dentist's for far too long but the calm, patient and considered approach of Steve has alleviated those fears. I received excellent care again today from both Steve and his wonderful nurse Mya who explained the procedure fully and reassured me throughout. Thank you both, great teamwork!

Fantastic experience: The dentists can be an unpleasant experience, but that was not the case for me yesterday. I went in to have a small chip in one of my upper front teeth fixed and the work was so good I can't tell it's there even though I know it is. Danielle (nurse) and Fausto (Dentist) did a wonderful job of making me feel at ease. They even had me laughing, which is probably not something you expect at the dentists. Great team, lovely facilities, would recommend.

Negative experience: Very upset with the way I was treated today. I had two appointments booked with the practice, one with the dentist on the 31st May and one with the Hygienists for a cleaning at 18:30 on the 15th May (today) which, was was booked back in October! They cancelled the appointment with the dentist by sending me a text, annoying but things happen. I was looking forward to the appointment with the Hygienist today when I got there I was 5 minutes late (I did left them a voicemail to let them know I was on my way) but was 'greeted' by a very unfriendly receptionist that told me with a smug expression and tone that 'they would have to reschedule now' as I was actually 20-minutes late. Rather baffled, I said my appointment was at 18:30 but the receptionist kept saying that it was 18:15 and that they sent me an automatic text on Saturday to remind me! Luckily I still had my previous text from October that confirmed I am not going mad it was 18:30 so even though they changed the time they did so with only 2 days notice, without asking me if I could make it, or apologising or even acknowledging in their messages the time had changed. If they sent a text saying we had to reschedule the time or explaining that on the voicemail it would have been harder to miss. It is not okay to spring last minute changes on customers and than act all righteously as if I am the one that messed it up! Instead of admitting they made a mistake the receptionist rather bluntly said I had to reschedule. However, by this point I didn’t bother as I realised life is too short and I can spend my money in a different dentist practice that hopefully won't mess up my appointments and then try blaming it on me!

Fantastic experience: I’m always well taken care of and comfortable during my treatments with Dr. Hughes and Emma. They always make sure to keep me updated and informed about my treatment plans and dental health as well.

Fantastic experience: I am a nervous patient, which has lead me to avoid the dentist for many years until I visited this centre earlier this year. I have received excellent care from the team here, especially from Emma and Dr. Hughes who have carried out some pretty significant dental work with great care and consideration. I have felt both well informed & consulted throughout my treatment. I now have my dental state at a good position and I will continue to visit Emma & Dr. Hughes for ongoing, regular care, no longer fearful of having to visit the dentist.

Negative experience: After years of coming to this practice, never late, never complaining despite most of my appointments being 45+ minutes late (as a full time carer my time for self care and freedom of movement is limited) I recently had a bad luck spell with health and had to rearrange my appointments. I have been blocked from any further appointments and despite me calling them and offering proof of ill health I have heard nothing back despite being told they would contact me with an answer on whether or not I could come back to this practice. God forbid you're ill because you will be kicked out the door. Now I have to look elsewhere and hope I get my dental problem sorted.

Fantastic experience: I had been a little apprehensive about visiting the dentist, as I had two large filling replacements that needed doing. I need not have worried. Although my appointment was a long one (two and a half hours) it was entirely pain and stress free and I was kept informed of progress all the way through. The dentist and the dental nurse were both friendly and efficient and I came away with a much better understanding of how to keep my teeth plaque free. A really excellent service.

Fantastic experience: Went to this practice to have a difficult wisdom tooth removed. Receptionists were very friendly and welcoming. Jess the dental nurse was supportive and kind. Dr Rauf who removed the tooth was simply superb. He took time to explain the procedure, the possible risks, difficulties and how he was going to approach it. He made me feel calm and reassured. He removed the tooth which had two curved roots in under 20 mins. What could have been a bad experience was simply made easy by a true professional and a very nice person who cares about his patients - nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic experience: Had my appointment on Thursday with Fausto and Mya I left feeling really happy. This is my third dental appointment and from start to finish im so happy I've finally found 1 - a dentist that listens 2 - makes things easy for me to attend appointments 3 - I feel encouraged to go to 4 - I know I am getting the BEST care and advice. Seriously the dentist now feels ike a treat not a chore.

Fantastic experience: I don's suppose many people will think that a dental appointment is a god experience generally, its not always! However it does make a massive difference if you have helpful and professional staff looking after you and that you feel confident you are receiving the best care possible. My experience of this practice is just as above. My dentist (Tim) is second to none he is helpful, friendly and most of all at the top of his game as a dental surgeon. Tim has an amazing friendly and competent dental nurse (Sam) she always has a smile and makes me feel welcome ad at ease. The friendly and professional reception team always call back when they are supposed to and ensure that every contact with the patient is dealt with in the most helpful way possible. Most of my contact with the reception team as been with Sammy - again her efficient and friendly approach to her work reflects that she enjoys her job and treats each with respect and genuine has a genuine interest in them. Well done!!!

He always explains the treatment that is required and possible options. This year, I've had major work on my top teeth. Sohail and his dental nurse, Jess were fantastic during the treatment, which involved multiple appointments. The outcome and my new smile is better than I could ever have imagined, yet they still look natural. I've received lovely complements on my new and improved teeth from friends and family.
