Negative experience: i was booked in for an emergency appointment as i am in agony. i was going to be late so rang up and informed them. i was ten minutes into my appointment which had an allocated time of 30 minutes. they refused to see me even though i was in tears and informed them that i haven’t eaten for 4 days because of my mouth and i was in agony. they still refused. my mom then came in and the receptionist lied to my mom saying the manager wasn’t in when my mom requested to speak to her. she then disappeared off upstairs and claimed to have spoken to the dentist AND her manager who apparently wasn’t available. all we asked was for the dentist to have a look because i can’t take the pain anymore and we were declined again. when asked if the dentist was busy we were informed they were preparing for the next patient? strange considering they would have had to prepare for me after the previous patient and i had not yet stepped foot in the room, therefore meaning any clinical tools and the room itself was sterile. then when my mom asked for the receptionists name she was told no and that we had been rude when i was quite clearly in a whole world of pain and still sobbing. the receptionist was rude and if your staff can’t take the time out of their day to accommodate an EMERGENCY appointment then your work force is lazy and unprofessional. awful establishment.

Fantastic experience: Can't praise the lovely dentist enough she was qmqzing and even though she removed a crumbling back tooth, I received no pain during or after I have never in my 73 years had such a wonderful dentist 100/10 for sure

Negative experience: Good service but pricey. I paid £276 for dental felling, you tell me if it is expensive or not. To me it us too expensive.

Fantastic experience: Have been at this dental practice twice now for the emergency treatments within the last 14 months. Both times received very professional, caring service and a lot of advice. Both times dentist at my usual practice would refuse to do anything and I would not receive any treatment. Being sent here for the emergency appointment has been wonderful experience. Each time the problem was addressed thoroughly and professionally. They sure know what they are doing and I certainly recommend this practice.

Negative experience: I was referred to surgery by this practice and have been patiently waiting almost a year suffering and in a lot of pain and it keeps getting worse only to find out the referral was sent back to the dentist and they didn't even tell me so I've been waiting almost a year for nothing just because they couldn't tell me they have made me suffer so much I'm considering suicide as I can't live like this anymore and I'm never gonna get help from this dentist and there my only choice I'm so disgusted don't go here they will just mess you around

Fantastic experience: I have recently been attending this dental practice, receiving treatment from Ionut (John). The treatment I have received has gone beyond all my expectations, he is professional, friendly and able to explain what needs to be done to set up a course of treatment that suits your needs. I am usually very nervous about attending the dentist Ionut sets me at ease and makes me feel relaxed. If you are in need of treatment, I would recommend this practice, you won't be disappointed.

Negative experience: She didn't clean my teeth as im a smoker. The said they couldn't fix my saliva gland as it was too difficult. I did it myself using a YouTube video. Very lazy female dentist. I would avoid this surgery as the staff aren't professional. Just check my dental record. I haven't been a patient with your surgery since that appointment. About 4 years ago. The dentis i saw last wasn't professional. She was a 1/10 at best and her dental practice was shockingly bad too.

Negative experience: I would give this dental practice one star if I could. My partner was initially sent here for an emergency dentist appointment in excruciating pain, hole in his tooth about 3mm wide and exposed nerves. His first appointment was 29th May and was told the dentist was not happy removing the tooth due to the fact he could not withstand the pain of it being touched. This being said, he was there would be a referal made for him to go to hospital and have this removed. It then took this dentist practice 15 days just to make a refferal for him to have his tooth removed, after speaking to the hospital due to the sheer fact it was taking so long, they said they had just received the referral. The hospital have seen the xrays and are shocked at the fact it's taken them so long just for a referal and to leave someone with such a big hole and in so much pain. AVOID. Emma is extremely rude and raises her voice at clients when they challenge her. Do better Terrace Dental!

Fantastic experience: Without a doubt, this was the best visit to a dentist I have experienced! At my senior age, that is quite a boast. I needed emergency treatment to extract a large tooth that had been causing a lot of pain and had caused an abscess. The dentist, Amy Sinclair, with the greatest care and consideration, removed this tooth in a speedy and painless fashion which surprised me! The abscess had been reduced somewhat by a previous antibiotic which I had been given by my GP so the extraction was ok to be carried out. As I said , Amy dealt with this painful experience with the utmost care and consideration and I am most grateful .

Fantastic experience: yesterday saw my second visit to the terrace dental practice,Dawlish.on both occasions I was seen by Amy. and her nurse eve. together they make a very competent, reassuring and professional team. my absolute fear of dentists (doubtless dating from my school days) was blown away by Amy's kind and gentle, yet confident manner. I would have absolutely no problem in recommending Terrace dental care team to anybody in need, nor visiting them myself.

Fantastic experience: Dr Amy and nurse shaunaugh was absolutely amazing! This isn’t my normal dentist I had an emergency app and was abit nervous but they was soo lovely and reassuring. Made me feel very comfortable! Shaunaugh even held my hand while Amy took out my wisdom tooth cause I’m a a big baby lol! Thank you soo much lovely lady’s!

Fantastic experience: I was sent to Terrace Dental Care for an emergency tooth problem. The referral I had was mixed up and I was sent on the wrong day, but despite the mix up the team did everything they could to make sure I was treated and the problem fixed. Special thanks have to go to receptionist Emma for chasing me down the streetand retrieving me from the bus stop, where I was sat in tears, because after a 90 min bus ride to get there, being told I had no appointment and being in pain was too much. She convinced me to return and helped arrange for me to be seen and treated despite having no appointment at that time, and them being fully booked. Massive thanks also have to go to dentist Amy and nurse Eve for squeezing me into their appointments so I could be treated. Everybody was thoroughly professional from start to finish, and were friendly, caring and determined, and I can't thank them all enough!

Fantastic experience: I was extremely nervous about seeing a dentist, following various bad experiences in the past. Amy was wonderful... she was extremely friendly and approachable, and totally put me at ease.. She is exceedingly professional in her dentistry. After doing an xray, she extracted 3 teeth for me. I hardly felt the anaesthetic injections, and the whole procedure was quick and painless. She is an excellent dentist, and a lovely person.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Terrace Dental Care for over 20 years. I have unusually always loved going to the dentist ever since I joined the practice. Recently my dentist left the practice and I am now with Amy, She is great . I went in for a regular check up, knowing that I had a tooth that probably needed removing, she did all that she could to save the tooth and kept me feeling happy and relaxed, unfortunately the tooth was beyond repair she then removed it with no fuss or bother and still had me out in time to start work at the correct time! I will be staying with the practice.

Throughout this time the care provided by Dr Coombes, Dr Sinclair-Day and the nursing and reception staff has been exceptional. They are always friendly, courteous and kind and so attendance at the dentist is a pleasure. Today I rang at 10. 30 a.m because of a broken filling and was seen just 2 hours later! My new dentist, Dr Sinclair-Day, is reassuring and gentle and very professional in her approach. She discusses possible options and involves me in decisions about my dental care. I always feel confident that I am getting the highest quality of care at this practice and I am grateful for all that they have done over the years for me and my family.
