Fantastic experience: Really happy with the care & service I receive here at Bupa Clifton. First of all the practice is really nice and clean, you're always greeted with a smile & friendly service by the reception team and they're very efficient with the book in process only requiring a few details. I have had Aled Edwards, Julie Pavey and Carly Harris who are all very professional and very knowledgeable. I've had great tips and overall I trust them and everyone here to look after my teeth. If anyone is considering this dentist I can definitely recommend them and assure that they're really good.

Fantastic experience: I recently had the Invisalign package with Mo, the whole experience was seamless. I felt extremely cared for throughout the months I was doing it for. The girls on reception are also very helpful and friendly too. Couldn’t recommend any higher!

Fantastic experience: I joined the practice earlier this year and have had a really fantastic experience so far. As someone who is fearful of the dentist I have found Mo to be extremely patient and understanding, he really takes the time to explain things thoroughly and checks in throughout any procedures. I have also had a couple of cleanings with Carly who is also really patient and understanding and put me at ease. On top of all this the reception team are also very friendly and welcoming. Overall I highly recommend this practice, particularly if you’re someone who has anxiety about going to the dentist!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this dental practice. I have found Mo to be a fantastic dentist. I was having some significant health issues when I started having my appointments with Mo, and as a result my dental health was not ideal. Mo clearly explained what the problem was, and what I needed to do whilst also being reassuring and kind. Mo is very professional, and also seems like a very nice human with a calming presence. My dental health is now much better!

Fantastic experience: I have been a very satisfied client of this practice for many years and I finally took the plunge and had some orthodontic work completed. Mo Tariq provided a first class professional service, and I felt very safe in his hands. The process took about 6 months, and I had everything carefully explained throughout. Having been rather embarrassed by my teeth since childhood, it is amazing to see the transformation which has been achieved. I am now much more willing to smile!

Negative experience: Deeply disappointed with Shelly from reception, who does not seem to appreciate that last-minute cancellations can happen and immediately warns customers they will be charged £30. I understand Bupa's cancellation policies, as I've been coming to this practice for six years, but it seems that customer relationships do not matter.

Fantastic experience: Booked in at Clifton for my mother and was extremely pleased with the service. We were seen by Dr Mo & both him and Macey were brilliant and made my mother feel very comfortable throughout her procedures. I will be asking specifically for them each time we visit now!

Fantastic experience: Mo Tariq was exceptional with his service, vast knowledge and patience. He attentively listened to what I needed and then explained clearly what was required. I would highly recommend Mo. He also introduced me to Carly Harris, for a hygienist appointment. Carly is personable and very good at her job. Carly has diligently helped me through a process which has significantly improved the health of my teeth and gums whilst making my experience an enjoyable one.

Fantastic experience: I recently had an hygienist appointment with Carly. I have a long experience with anxiety, so dentist visits are difficult got me. In all my 48 years, I have never had such a relaxed Dentist visit as Carly provider. She immediately put me at ease and continued to make me feel comfortable, throughout. She kept me informed as to what she was doing along the way and gave me as many rest stops as needed. I’m am due to move out of the Bristol area soon, however have already booked visits to Carly, needing a day trip. Genuinely, she really is that good. Exceptional level of customer and clinical service. I was also so amazed by how immaculately clean is, the place looked as if it had been refurbished. Please pass on my feedback to your amazing cleaner!

Fantastic experience: My most recent visit was for orthodontic treatment. I received an excellent service from Rippon - a highly experienced orthodontist. She clearly outlined the treatment process, explained the function and purpose of the scanners and machines she would be using and involved me in all aspects decision making. Her admin and dental assistants were friendly and efficient and I cannot recommend this Dental Practice highly enough

Fantastic experience: So happy with my new alignment after 6 months of Invisalign with Mo. I had braces when I was younger but my teeth had started to move a lot over the last couple of years and I was beginning to get self conscious about my teeth looking a bit crooked in photos. Invisalign was the perfect solution for me and I am really pleased with the results - I just saw the before/after photos and couldn’t believe how different my smile looks. Mo was really friendly and professional throughout the process as well. The whole package is well worth the money, would definitely recommend it!

Mo was patient and informed Stu with every part of the process, including his welfare and mental health during what was a difficult adjustment. Throughout the procedure, he took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable. Mo was patient, caring and really listens to your concerns. You can tell he genuinely wants his patients to have a positive experience. The office staff was also incredibly friendly and accommodating. I'm usually quite nervous at the dentist, but Mo's expertise and gentle approach made it a very pleasant visit. I didn't feel a thing during the procedure. I left feeling relieved and so appreciative of the great care I received. If you're looking for a skilled and compassionate dentist, I cannot recommend Mo highly enough. His fantastic chairside manner and top-notch dental skills make him a real gem! I'll definitely be returning for any future dental needs.

Not a cheap procedure, but the above ensured a well placed feeling of confidence. Very happy with the result.

Fantastic experience: Since I moved to Bristol, I have been registered with Bupa Dental. I have been extremely fortunate to be under the care of Aled. As someone who is quite a nervous patient, Aled has always had a great way of making me feel calm, reassured and in safe hands, even during a dreaded tooth extraction! So long as I'm under the expert care of Aled, I know I can't go wrong with my dental health. I have also had the pleasure of being cared for by Carly. She recently conducted my hygienist appointment and was so friendly and informative, more than happy to answer my questions and offer specialist advice during and after my procedure. Going to the dentist is never a fun affair, but both Aled and Carly make the experience so much better. They aren't just expert dental professionals, but also lovely and warm individuals! Negative experience: The practice is nice, the dentist was very professional and friendly, but I think it is absolutely extortionate to charge a pregnant lady (who would get her appointment for free if an NHS patient) £72 for a 10 minute appointment just to be told everything is fine. I think it is incredibly unfair that just because there are no NHS spaces available that I would have the exact same service but have to pay such a large sum of money. I understand that the fault lies with me too for not checking prices prior to the appointment but I don’t think anyone would have guessed for a check up it would be that much!!

Negative experience: I liked the dentist and the service there however it is impossible to get through on the phone to book an appointment as a private patient. Been ringing over the course of several weeks on various days and no one ever answers. The inbox used to be full which has now been cleared however I still didn't get a callback even when I left the voicemail. There is also no online booking option. Please advise on how to book an appointment.

Fantastic experience: A truly exceptional service from start to finish, I can't reccomend this place enough. From the very beginning, the receptionists are extremely efficient and helpful. I mainly spoke with Natasha who was excellent. In terms of treatments, I required a number of fillings which Karim delivered, supported by Elsie. Both were extremely positive and upbeat, whilst treating you with the upmost of respect: constantly checking in on your wellbeing throughout the treatment. I had 6 fillings over 2 seperate days and honestly barely felt any pain throughout. Truly remarkable. The quality of finish on the fillings was second to none and I've experienced no soreness or sensitivity whatsoever after the treatment. I also saw Huda, supported by Maddie/Maddy, for a Hygienist appt. Again, both were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The appointment was over in a flash, with very-little-to-no discomfort and my teeth looking considerably cleaner at the end of it, much more than I realised possible. Couldn't ask for more. Karim ensured I was fully informed of the entire process & what he would be able to achieve with Invisalign. Karim ensured my teeth were perfect & didn’t stop until he achieved that. Fantastic experience: Brilliant Clinic. Very friendly team. My treatment which involved replacing old composite bonding with ceramic veneers was done by Dr. Karim Abdel-Khalek, an extremely talented professional. Very devoted, high precision and attention to detail, goes the extra mile to make sure the best procedures and tools are available for the treatment. This is the first time in over 15 years that I love my teeth - very natural looking :)

Fantastic experience: Cant highly recommend Karim enough, his clear passion and expertise for dentistry was evident as soon as I walked in the door and I was literally flabbergasted at how little pain I felt during my treatments in comparison to other dentists and practises I have visited. In fact I am currently in the process of moving abroad and would seriously consider flying back to the UK if I was in need of any work. Dont be shy, give Karim a try!

Fantastic experience: 1. Always patient, kind, encouraging and nice to talk to. Seem nice to each other and nice to all the patients. 2. Excellent quality of service. The hygienists I saw today lifted an orthodontic glue that has been hanging around since I was 15 that has never been picked up by other hygienists at other practices. A year ago, my dentist Dr Abdel-Khalek picked up a periodontic abscess that needed endodontic treatment which I wasn't having much trouble with at the time but when I went to the endodontist it was revealed that could have been a lot worse if not treated. I was grateful this was picked up before it became a disaster. More recently, the planning and demonstration of some aesthetic work was really nicely done. I can't wait to have it. 3.Very well organised. Never kept waiting for long before being called in.this helps when leaving work is sometimes tricky.
