Fantastic experience: I am an anxious person when it comes to the dentist and haven't been in a long time when I had a filling come out I urgently needed to go. Leighton Buzzard team were amazing I got an emergency appointment the next day and then a filling booked in the day after. My dentist, Dr Bijal and Marcella we're amazing. They listened to me and the reasons why other appointments haven't gone well and spoke to me giving all the information that I needed to feel safe, listened to and gave me all the options for the way forward. They made me feel in control during the filling as well as creating as nice an atmosphere you can create in a filling operation! It was the best experience I have had at a dentist because I felt listened to, safe and understood what was happening at all points. Have my follow up appointment already booked!

Fantastic experience: I get quite anxious about visiting the dentist, however both Afreen and Katie put me at ease. They were both absolutely lovely and reassuring through every process. They went through a lot in detail and did not feel as if I was being rushed. I could not praise them enough. I will definitely be back.

Fantastic experience: This has been the best dental experience of my life. The facilities are clean, modern and making use of cutting edge technology. But it is the people who are even more outstanding. The receptionists are helpful and friendly, going out of their way to make the process seamless and trying to accommodate suitable appointment times. The dentists I’ve seen are Bijal and Reuben. Both are outstanding in how they are clearly both knowledgeable but also take time to explain what they are doing and why they are suggesting certain treatments, allowing you to be an active participant in your own care. The assistants are very kind and clearly very competent and even visiting the hygienist has been a pleasant experience. Top marks.

Fantastic experience: Myself and my entire family ( two adults and two kids) were seen by the dental practice and I really appreciated their flexibility. We all had an appointment with dental hygienist Afreen and her assistant Marcella. Both did an amazing job. Fantastic experience: As with a lot of people I genuinely get anxious about the dentist to the point of avoidance however I took the step to sign on with Bupa at Leighton Buzzard, in particular Joanna Stafford. Having not been to the dentist for more years than I care to admit the amount of work needed was expected which didn’t help the nerves. Joanna and her dental nurse have been amazing so kind and reassuring They take their time and make sure you are settled and explain lots to me. I have felt little or no discomfort following several appointments which have included fillings and abstraction’s. I could not praise them both enough and have very few nerves about my next appointments I would highly recommend the practice a clean comfortable and modern. Staff are very efficient and it genuinely helps to lessen the nerves. Thank you

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a dentist and you are reading my review, look no further! I have been visiting Bupa Leighton Buzzard for a while now and I can't recommend the whole team enough. Laura (who I always meet at the reception) is brilliant. She greets you with a smile and is ready to help, she seems to know regular clients by their names which is amazing. Have met other staff at the reception and they are always friendly anyway. Dr Asal Zakeri is friendly and so is her dental Assistant Annabel. They both make you feel comfortable with their gentle approach, professionalism and reassurance. I had a hygienist appointment with Cara who really took her time explaining everything in details. Dr Reuben Garcia is helpful, friendly and professional and so is her dental Assistant Karen. I can't recommend the whole team enough! However, I have one negative point, sometimes it can be frustrating to make appointment on the phone. The phone never get answered sometimes and I mean SOMETIMES but overall the practice is almost perfect

Fantastic experience: I came to this Practice after being let down by another Practice in Leighton buzzard and at the time seeking a second opinion for work i felt wasn't really needed. My feelings were confirmed and i visited both the hygienist at whole tooth who was excelant and then Joanne and Lisa one of the dental teams and i have to say they are amazing. I have since returned for more work and previous to my visit here i dreaded going to the dentist - in fact so much so i had avoided the dentist for 13 years. I have to tell you coming to this Practice is a delight. Joanne and Lisa made me feel comfortable and at ease with their professionalism and there dedication to the job - they talk through what they are doing as your sat in the chair and made me feel like i was a truly valued patient. They are a credit to the practice in fact even the receptionists here are great fun to talk to and i really wish all of them a Merry Xmas and Happy New Year. Thank you so much for looking after my teeth. I cant recommend whole tooth enough. I wish you every success. I am now writing a second review its been a few years since i had to visit a dentist and i have to say i was just as impressed today as i was the day i left the first review. I had to have a tooth out and Christina the oral surgeon was absolutely brilliant an utter proffessional who did the job with no pain no fuss and no drama. What for me was i thought going to ve a dreadfull experience turned out to be nothing to worry about in the slightest. Thank you so much i had been suffering for so long !

Fantastic experience: I first visited Bupa Dental practice 3 years ago at the age of 66 I still had 2 baby teeth one had become very loose and my niece Alex was a dental nurse at the practice and recommended I see Bijal I was a bit nervous but was immediately put at ease by Bijal who is very professional warm and welcoming. I had a temporary bridge fitted which worked very well,a couple of years later the second baby tooth became discoloured after considering implants we decided I would have more permanent bridges.Bijal and her nurse Karen were so through in getting the teeth the correct colour shape and fit , also Bijal did some composite fillers on a tiny chip I had on a front tooth and evened up another so I had a more asymmetrical smile I would absolutely recommend the practice everyone from reception ,nurses and especially Bijal are amazing I am so happy with my teeth I can’t stop smiling

Fantastic experience: I have visited Dupa Dentists in Leighton Buzzard twice for a deep clean and for a filling. Both times the staff made me feel super welcome and my appointments were prompt. Dr Asai and Marcella took great care of me through a new experience for myself at the dentists. Fixing a chipped filling! Most importantly my teeth left better than they came both times. Very pleased with the service and I shall continue to have regular check ups here.

Fantastic experience: As someone who has always been very nervous going to the dentist since childhood, I was very apprehensive when I knew I needed some dental work doing. Luckily, Dr Bijal and Karen were the perfect people to see. I felt immediately reassured after expressing my nerves, and felt at ease and in no discomfort during the procedure. I know I’ll feel much less nervous in future!

I've had 6 fillings over the course of the last 3 months (due to my own neglect) and they have been incredibly friendly, caring, and professional throughout. They have made sure I'm as comfortable as I can be throughout and that the treatment I'm getting is as good as it can be. Bijal genuinely cares about how I'm getting on with recovery (some of my fillings are particularly deep) and has taken the time to explain everything to me and answer my many questions! Fantastic experience: Most of my adult life I had only visited the dentists when my tooth ach became unbearable. On this occasion I’d suffered from a cracked tooth and I was unable to get into a dentist since I was removed from mine during Covid. The Bupa clinic in Leighton Buzzard was suggested by a work colleague to me, after a quick phone call I had an appointment and was in the dentists chair undergoing a full review of my teeth. 6 months later and for the first time in a very long time I had no tooth ach at all and could event enjoy ice cream! And the best thing is apart from the dent in the wallet from having to go private none of the actual procedures were painful at all. I put this down to the skill and care of my dentists. Thank you to the dental team. It really is a team effort from the moment you walk into the comfortable waiting room until you leave with a fresh white smile.

She explained my treatment plan in detail. My treatment was done at my pace and not rushed at all and I was asked if I was ok and comfortable during the procedures to see if I needed little breaks (which amazingly I didn’t). I can now talk, eat and smile/laugh with confidence. I am also happy to confirm that I am now not a nervous/anxious patient anymore. Negative experience: Really disappointed with this surgery. After being with three different bupa dentist’s the prices are extremely high! Joanna who I’ve only met once was quoting me for things I didn’t need or want. Home whitening for £475 pounds is crazy. Composite bonding for £270 pounds per tooth when I was quoted £170 per tooth in my previous practice. I really didn’t feel like I was being listened to at all in my appointment!! Just getting bombarded with treatments that were unnecessary that I didn’t need. Only positive was the hygienist Cara hence the two stars instead of one. She was great and listened to me and did a great job. I’ve actually asked to cancel my bupa plan as I’m really unhappy. Was told to go back to my old practice which I found really horrible. I felt like I was the last patient of the day with no care.

Fantastic experience: I have grown up with a fear of dentists, but my experience here has been exceptional. Amar, Joanna and Cara have been great in dealing with me as a patient and I am now happy to visit the dentist and am looking after my teeth properly. Reception staff have been a pleasure to deal with and just an overall great experience.

Negative experience: Refused to treat for tooth pain after patient disclosed that they would be seeking option to remove amalgam fillings in the future.

Fantastic experience: I would like to say a heart felt thank you to Dr Joanna Stafford who had the task of treating me yesterday. I have for many years been a very nervous patient on the back of an experience suffered all those years back. Joanna was very caring and understanding of my history and went far and beyond to explain each step of the process, reassure and empower me. I had gone from being filled with complete dread if I knew I had a dental appointment to actually looking forward to having the procedure done once I was told that she would be seeing me. This was due to my first visit that I had with this practice 3 weeks ago where I first met Dr Stafford and her team. I can hand on heart say that I can see that it isn't about just getting in and cracking on with what needs to be done with this lady but she does this with care and a dash of getting to know and understand her patients without the bullying and shoving that can be experienced. Positive experience: I find the prices rather high. I am happy to pay for the excellent service but I feel some treatments are unnecessarily expensive. As a pensioner it is not easy to budget for this, but there is no availability with NHS dentists so there is no alternative but to go privately.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been travelling over 40 minutes to the Bupa Dental Care in Leighton Buzzard, and it’s absolutely worth every mile. The standout reason? Bijal, the dentist. She is truly amazing! Kind, caring, and extremely meticulous with her work. Bijal ensures that everything she does is done to perfection, and she always takes the time to make sure I’m comfortable throughout each appointment. The team there is equally wonderful. Karen, the dental nurse, is lovely and always has a smile on her face. She’s chatty and makes the experience even more pleasant. Laura at the desk is incredibly welcoming, kind, and caring, always making me feel at ease. Fantastic experience: Had a lot of dental treatment here and was in the chair for 3 hours. Dr Joanna Stafford treated me, and she is THE most caring and considerate dentist. She put me at my ease, gave me regular small breaks, and explained everything she was doing as she went along. Superb!

Negative experience: Prices too high! They find you any kind of nonexistent issue to make money. In another private dentist the check result was only one filling to do. With BUPA 5 fillings plus additional treatments. I don't recommend!

Bijal is such a caring, thoughtful and intelligent dentist, who wants to help in the kindest way. And she’s an expert in TMJD. A course of acupuncture made such a difference to my TMJD. I wish I’d had it years ago.

Fantastic experience: Hi, I booked an emergency appointment for my mum visiting from abroad and she was able to be seen the next day by Joanna, twice in one day, as she later on realized where the severe pain was coming from, and the lovely receptionist was able to squeeze her in dor a second appointment , whilst the other lovely receptionist was very kind and helped my mum with the payment process and documentation for medical insurance. Apologies as I don’t remember their names, but you both have been fantastic! My mum is usually very anxious during dentist visits and Joanna made her feel very comfortable, took the time to explain everything and was very understanding of her situation. My father passed away in September of last year and my mum has no income at the moment, so she was reliant on her medical insurance allowance. Joanna was kind enough to let my mum know in advance the estimate costs so she could be aware if she can afford the treatment, and this was reassuring for her. Joanna was very lovely and professional and has treated my mum with compassion and respect. My mum has let me know that she was very impressed with the clinic and how well she was treated by everyone she met, and she is extending her gratitude to everyone. Fantastic experience: I have been having my regular checkups with Bijal for a few years and last year decided to have composite bonding on 2 of my teeth ahead of my wedding. Fantastic experience: Wow. I've found a good one! I've been unfortunate enough to need several fillings in the past. Having just gone back to the dentist after a break due to the last few years of covid, I needed another one and I've just had this today. it's safe to say that I had nothing to be worried about I had no idea how easy and totally pain free having a filling could actually be. Bijal puts me right at ease and is calming and gentle the entire time, keeps you fully in the loop as to what is going on. I put my headphones in and just relaxed. Genuinely the best experience I've ever had at the dentist!

During and even after treatment, if I had any concerns or issues, Dr Bijal was swift to resolve them. To add to the incredible treatment, the staff at the surgery are amazing and always so friendly.
