Fantastic experience: Following a successful treatment to realign my top and bottom teeth around two years ago, I contacted the Abbey concerning an Issue with my permanent upper retainer. Dr Orla Carty agreed to see me immediately in order to fix the issue. I've seen Orla and Melissa today and as usual had a brilliant experience, the girls are kind, friendly and efficient. Brand new permanent retainer fitted this morning, scan for new plastic retainer completed so just need to pick it up tomorrow, once Melissa has called me. I would 100% recommend the Abbey for any treatment concerning teeth alignment and braces. Dr Carty and Melissa are kind and professional (a brilliant team)

Fantastic experience: I visited Abbey Duthie as a new patient. Lisa the dentist was amazing, so patient, helpful & empathetic. I had a few broken implant screws and Lisa went above and beyond to help me, even though she did not originally do my implants. Also I have nerve damage in my foot so wearing a surgical boot at the moment, and Lisa swapped rooms with another dentist, so I didn’t have to get up the stairs to her room . Thank you so much Lisa and your dental nurses for being so kind and compassionate. I really appreciate what you done for me. I left the clinic smiling, Thank you so much

Great service, 90 minutes of treatment on an awkward tooth and no downtime, successful treatment. Receptionists also very lovely and helpful! So thank you all for being amazing!

She’s warm, at the top of her game and really gets to understand what each person wants to get out of their treatment. There are many more practitioners closer to my home but I’d rather travel further to go to Duthie.

Fantastic experience: I had been in agony for 2 weeks prior to going duthie dental because of buried roots from a failed extraction at another dentist,so I needed to have them surgically removed.A friend of mine recommended me to go to duthie dental as the nhs waiting times where months and I was in agony.I called up and few days later was receiving treatment.The whole process at duthie was like a breath of fresh air, very relaxing and calm which sounds strange but it’s true.. Very professional and put me at ease reassuring me that this is standard procedure at duthie and that they specialise in removing buried roots. The experience was great.best dentist I’ve ever been too. I’m not longer in any pain and I’m so relived it’s done. Thank you all at duthie dental and especially to kate the oral surgeon who did my treatment. Brilliant!!

Fantastic experience: As a life-long ‘avoider’ of the dentist, I was extremely nervous for my first tooth removal. I needn’t have been. Oral Surgeon Dr Natalie Ohlson-Turner and colleague were super supportive, kind, and informative through every step of the procedure. A pain-free and swift appointment, and I feel like I’ve faced and conquered a fear with the help of Dr Ohlson-Turner and team. Will be looking to register here for all future dental work.

Both were successful so I will soon have an implant to replace my missing tooth.Excellent job I'm delighted.

Fantastic experience: I attended The Abbey for sedated dental surgery with Dr Kate Olson-Turner. I am a nervous patient as it is but this was heightened as this was the first time I was ever being sedated. Kate, Natalie and the team were all so lovely and understanding, they made me feel completely at ease. It’s been a couple of weeks now since my surgery and my gum is healing fine :)

Fantastic experience: Having not been able to find an NHS dentist and needing urgent attention my friend recommended the Abbey. I have since been 5 times in the last fortnight as I had a number of issues that needed addressing. From a loose crown, general check up with X-rays, two fillings repaired, a long visit with the dentist hygienist and finally the surgical team to remove a root from a previous extraction that was infected. Every member of staff from the receptionist onwards has been polite, professional and I’m totally delighted with the work they have carried out. The practice is also gorgeous. Never thought I’d say it but I really enjoy going to the dentists now ! A big thank you to everybody at the Abbey and hope to see you soon, but only for check ups !

I had a local anaesthetic and the oral surgeon was friendly and put me at my ease straight away. She asked me if I was ok at frequent intervals and if I needed breaks during treatment. She worked efficiently.

All of the staff are super friendly and make you feel relaxed. I will never go anywhere else now! And would 100% recommend him, and this dentist. Fantastic experience: I'm ebarassingly afraid of dentists. I went today without high hope of my reaction but I saw Dr Bill Powell he was so kind and reassuring. He was very calm and understanding of my fears, I actually decided to have a tooth extraction there and then, it was the first time in 64 years I didn't have sedation I can't praise Dr Powell enough I highly recommend him and the surgery

Fantastic experience: My daughter completed her brace treatment and needed two undersized teeth building up. We enquired via our Dentist, from start to finish the service was excellent, lots of information and advice and the price fair. The best part for me was the delighted smiles when the treatment was complete of Dr Rishi, his assistant and my daughter, thank you for giving her, her smile back.

Fantastic experience: I am almost 40, I look after my teeth and never even had so much as a filling so when I was told I'd had to have a molar extracted I was filled with dread and anxiety! I was so lucky to have Kate as my Oral Surgeon supported by the lovely Jenny (who held my hand throughout). Kate really took her time with me, she understood how scared I felt and took it slowly, assuring me I was doing great! The actual excision was so quick and I felt nothing! Kate is an absolute angel and just excudes warmth and you can see she really cares about what she does, as a patient you feel at ease and safe immediately!
