Fantastic experience: Having an irrational fear of dentist visits , my 1st visit was one of anxiety and tears. I have never felt so cared for, my Dentist is Dr Jessica Pascoe. The care and understanding Jessica and her wonderful Dental Nurse showed me is priceless. My fourth visit I walked in smiling. I would not emotionally be where am I without Jessica and Adele, Im so very grateful to them both. From the receptionist that calmly told me things will be ok Scarlet Clapton and Claire Jordan I thank you. There is a way through and this team literally take every step with you

Fantastic experience: I’ve always been praised for being the “model patient”… calm, composed, barely a flinch But underneath? Absolute chaos. Internal screaming. Mentally drafting my will over a routine appointment. Which is why a huge thank you to Tom at Cotteswold Dental Care who somehow saw past the brave face and made the whole experience feel easy (and dare I say it… almost pleasant?!). The tooth extraction was so quick and painless I didn’t even have time for my usual dramatic inner monologue. One minute I’m bracing for impact, the next it’s “all done” and I’m wondering what all the fuss (in my head) was about. Professional, reassuring, and clearly gifted at keeping both teeth and nerves in check. Highly recommend… even for those of us who deserve an Oscar for Best Performance in a Dental Chair

Fantastic experience: Re-worded I first came to Cotteswold House Dental Care in 2019 after struggling to find an NHS dentist and feeling extremely nervous due to previous experiences. I finally decided it was time to look at private care, and having driven past Cotteswold House regularly, I gave them a call. I explained how anxious I was, and they invited me in for a quick chat that same day. I walked in shaking and sweating, but the team were immediately warm, professional, and reassuring. I booked an appointment with Jess Pascoe, and to say I was a difficult patient at first would be an understatement—I was anxious about everything, even how far the chair went back. 8 years later, I’ve just completed multiple longer appointments for 5 new crowns and now have a completely renewed smile. I can honestly say I wouldn’t be able to set foot in a dental practice without the stress and fear I used to feel if it weren’t for the entire team at CH. From reception to the dentists and hygienists, everyone has been consistently supportive and exceptional. After years of hiding my teeth, I finally feel confident in my smile again. All the staff from reception to hygienist and dentist are friendly and professional, which has the effect of reducing any anxiety which can be associated with such visits and feeling confident in their abilities.

Fantastic experience: I've been with Cotteswold House Dental Care for many years now and cannot fault the care, efficiency and validation the whole team provide. I recently had a crown fitted and the whole process was so wonderfully simple and stress free, I'm so happy with the results and the confidence it has given me. My dentist Rachel is incredibly skilled at what she does with the ability to make you feel calm and relaxed no matter what the procedure. My children come here too and see an equally lovely dentist, but I'll be forever grateful to Rachel for making their first experience at the dentist a happy one. I never have any trouble getting them there. A great team and a relaxed environment, I would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had to have my wisdom tooth removed, and was dreading it, as I’ve had some really horrible experiences with tooth extraction. But the dentist was very reassuring and through with explaining everything. She numbed my gum , then waited for the gum to be really numb, before extracting the tooth. It all went very smoothly, with very little bleeding. If only all of my previous experiences had been so good.

Fantastic experience: I won’t lie, I was dreading going back to the dentist after 7 years hiatus following some really shoddy treatment at my old practice. Matthew and the Dental Nurse working with him were a delight and put me right at ease from the start right through the appointment. I had ample opportunity to discuss concerns about my teeth and got answers to all of my questions. I cannot fault the team at all.

Fantastic experience: I just returned from a consultation to consider having Dental Implants. The Implant surgeon, Jess, a very pleasant friendly young lady, asked me all the appropriate questions about my requirements, carried out a thorough examination of my teeth and gums, including all the required X-rays and will be providing me with a report to cover all my options and the costs involved. I left feeling confident that I would be in safe, expert hands if I decided to let Jess carry out the in Implant procedure.

Without their extreme care and endless patience, I wouldn't have the great smile that I have today. Both go over and above with each visit. I really don't know what I would do without them. I would also say that all receptionists and dental assistants at the surgery have had a big part to play in my dental journey too. A massive thank you to all.

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment with Jess today to talk about having implants, she did this mouth scan that showed up all my teeth, which I thought looked nasty. Didn’t realise how nasty my teeth looked. Anyway she was amazing, she explained everything very clearly and listened to my questions and answered very well. I felt very relaxed and she made me feel very welcome. I have decided I will have a consultation, I called up to book in to see Guy, they are going to call me back with a date. Thank you Jess x

Negative experience: I was very disappointed with the dental practice. My dentist I met with was lovely and super professional. He made me very comfortable and I thought I was onto something good. I went to a hygienist appointment after this and my experience was really uncomfortable. The hygienist was informed of my anxiety with my teeth and having people touch them. She was very rough, my teeth were extremely sore and I was bleeding everywhere. I asked for numbing treatment before and she refused to do it. I asked for numbing treatment afterwards due to bleeding and struggling to speak. She continued to deny giving me this treatment and my sister then pushed her on this. She finally gave me the treatment and we could not understand why this wasn’t offered before. Throughout my appointment she made passive aggressive remarks and made me feel really uncomfortable. After this I did not return, I paid for my appointment but no one followed up with me regarding this, despite emailing. They just demanded the money and I’ve paid it and not returned. Edit: 22.07.2025 to respond to your comment that this is for another practice. It is in fact for you and I have attached a screenshot of your invoice below, where you chased for money for this appointment. I paid the bill despite the fact I was treated so poorly. Please don’t allege this is for someone else as it isn’t and I won’t remove the review as it’s accurate. I have cropped out your bank details but also have the full original. Fantastic experience: Very thoughtful, kind, and compassionate staff working here. They always remember me and greet me with a smiley face at the door. Excellent value for money and amazing services, lots of time and care put into my treatment. It’s picked up a lot in the last few years following Covid and seems to be getting more efficient every day! BIG love to cotteswold house, certainly the best dental practice I’ve ever been to.

I've always been a nervous dental patient, however I walk out of this practice, confident and wondering what there was to worry about. The staff on reception are kind and courteous. Jake is professional and alleviates any worries you may have while the duo Kim and Alison make me smile. Fantastic experience: Matthew at Cotteswold Dental practice is a brilliant dentist, he takes care and he is very skilled. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs dental treatment. Recently I have had root canal treatment which can be very tricky and was in my case but Matthew was continually patient and professional throughout the whole treatment.

I have just finished seeing Dr Addison for Invisilign treatment, and I could not recommend the practice and the treatment enough! It has suprised me how quickly I started to notice a huge change in the appearance of my teeth, within a couple of months I was receiving compliments which has massively boosted my confidence to smile. As well, the practice has such a professional and welcoming atmosphere, and the whole team have been so accommodating about appointments as I work shifts.
