Fantastic experience: Had a broken wisdom tooth my dentist wouldn't touch. Was referred here and had to wait for appointment. Dentist and assistant were amazing. I have a phobia of needles and dentists from a young age and they were unbelievable! Gentle, considerate and kept checking i was ok. So thankful! I see so many negatives in here but dentists are so badly funded I want to put my positive here for them!!!
Negative experience: Bad for me the told me it would be 2 week to get my results of a bi ops ie it's now 10 week the pain I've got and had it unbearable
Negative experience: I called up for some help and advice but the lady on phone said she couldn’t give me any as I was already had a NHS dentist, but I couldn’t get a appointment as they had none and was booked up until April. NHS dentist have gone to pot, private dental treatment is far too expensive to even consider!!!
Negative experience: Awful news experience with reception needs retraining around autism support and issues autism can cause
Negative experience: Disgusting place refused my 28 year old special needs daughter after her old dentist closed . She was referred twice by our GP and they still refused with 3 different excuses. The receptionist there also has a bad attitude!!! My daughter now has a broken tooth which is sharp and no dentist !!! Disgusting people !
Negative experience: Receptionist is shocking shouldn't be in the job, zero customer service skills, treats everyone disrespectfully, needs retraining or removing from the Reception desk, never known anyone to be in a public position and speak the way he does. Dentist is fantastic couldn't fault. 6 encounters with the Receptionist though and each one I was not treated with respect he needs training on how to deal with autistic individuals he really upset me, and he did not care less.
Fantastic experience: I had a tooth extracted yesterday morning here and the whole experience was better than I expected! Im a super nervous patient and have been putting off getting this tooth removed for years, so I opted for sedation to do so. I remember having the cannula inserted and the first dose of sedation, then the next thing I remember was being told it was over. The whole appointment took around 40 minutes from start to finish. My dentist was Yasha and there were 3 other women in the room who were all lovely, kind & understanding. I need to go back in July to have another tooth out and im now a lot less nervous about this due to the good experience I had yesterday. I'd definitely recommend this dentist, especially if you're a nervous patient like me!!!
Negative experience: Very rude and patronising.... Welcome to NHS ,,, lady was disgusting RUDE over the phone!
Fantastic experience: To be fair, after a 40 minute wait on the phone. They got me in straight away within an hour. Can't fault that at all.
Fantastic experience: My usual dental practice had broken the roots during an extraction and so I was referred to Bath Street for dental surgery to remove them. The Dentist (who was a Portuguese lady, I didn't catch her name but wanted to identify her) and her Hygienist were excellent. They both had an excellent manner at putting me at ease and were very gentle (considering the relatively brutal procedure that I needed to have carried out). Thank you very much ladies, your kindness was appreciated.
Negative experience: After months of being fobbed off and a dentist telling me my tooth was very deep and in other words not fancying removing it ..being ignored and hung up on ..ive finally got it sorted by ringing a private dentist in Manchester..it cost me nearly 300 quid but was seen to within two hours of making the call.. Sooooooo grateful. That shower of awkward disinterested disingenuous cretins should be ashamed
Fantastic experience: Spoke to Wendy on 6/12/23 she was very friendly , Clear and helpful Getting me the appointment I needed.
Negative experience: Bad service. They should close emergency dentist services and find alternatives.
Negative experience: Poor receptionists and poor dentists always cancelling appointments without letting you know
Negative experience: Completely useless, cracked tooth and nerve pain but you need to try again tomorrow!
Negative experience: Been waiting 6 months for an appointment. Absolutely disgraceful. Definitely would not recommend
Negative experience: ¹ hour 46 minutes. Still wishing waiting i
Negative experience: There is an awful condescending man called Paul who made me feel alienated for having a few different medical conditions and making hurtful and unnecessary jokes i also have autism and he took my harmless stimming as me going to punch him in the face and he then suddenly stopped my treatment as he told he was worried about his own safety.
Fantastic experience: I needed a tooth taking out I had been trying to cope with or get the guts to pull it myself but couldn’t, hardly ate I’m two days so I rang on a Saturday morn at 8 I was on hold for hour and forty five mins I just left it on the side, the lady was really nice and helpful and aranged for me to get the procedure at a dentist in my town centre of Warrington within a few hours which was good because I was in work so I nipped out of work had it done walked back for the last two hours of my shift , this is an emergency service and so I appreciated the service knowing how busy it was and I’ve no dentist since getting kicked out covid time.. the dentist was lovely to.
Negative experience: I holding the line from 8am. it's 10:20 and still holding the line and listening the annoying music what " help " is it?
Negative experience: Painful
Negative experience: Very poor service, service looks to be subbed out to a 3rd party (Revive) very poor, unhelpful, upmost is done from preventing you getting an appointment. Shocking
Negative experience: Waited twice on the phone for 20 minutes. Person on the end answers but says can’t hear me. Tested on two different phones so its a problem on their end. Terrible.
Negative experience: All appointments gone as soon as the phone lines are open then they never answer the phone. An absolute waste of space!
Fantastic experience: Whent here when my dentist ducked up my filling absolutely amazing tooth whipped out no drama happy days
Negative experience: Got an appointment got there and they wouldn't see me!
Fantastic experience: I had an infection sitting in and under an upper molar. Pain like I've never experienced before. Called 8am in the morning, lovely lady on the phone, booked me in for just after lunch. Reception staff very friendly and the dentist and her nurse were fantastic. Anesthetic, Xray and extraction with great aftercare in under 20 minutes. If you have an emergency over the weekend, don't suffer till Monday, give them a call!
Negative experience: Getting through to the emergensy dentist is pure paranoia. I called with an acute toothache at around 11am and after 40 minutes of waiting on the helpline I finally got through. The helpline lady, apart from asking about my ethnic group (I don't know what this has to do with the toothache), said that everything was booked and I had to call the next day from 8am and advised to take PARACETAMOL AND IBUPROM (this is sick). When I said I couldn't sleep because of the tooth for two days they said they couldn't do anything about it. The next day I called from 8 o'clock and I didn't get through until 9 o'clock and the same thing happened. In addition, they said that if my face and eye were swollen so that I could not see, I should go to hospital. THIS HEALTH SERVICE IS A JOKE.
Negative experience: Don't use this place 2 days I have been on hold for over 2 hours and still no one answer I know there busy but they ain't that busy
Fantastic experience: Great service, friendly staff, welcoming environment. I felt right at home! thank you, :) :)
Negative experience: I was referred to this clinic on 01/07/20 after loosing part of a tooth and filling and suffering constant severe pain. My referral was received by Bath street the same day but they left me hanging until 09/07/20 before rejecting my referral without explanation or any communication, I only realised that it had been rejected when I tracked the referral online. My dentist informed me after I rang them that Bath street are not accepting referrals, so if you are not accepting referrals why not tell me 8 days ago and at least let me work on finding another solution. I realise that things are difficult at the moment and services are reduced but how hard is it to send a text or email it takes seconds. I am a key worker and have worked every day of the pandemic, the NHS as a whole are amazing but this clinic has let me down and has shown absolutely no care, there has been no communication at all via any channel. I read the reviews of this clinic when I was referred which are poor and feared there may be trouble ahead.
Negative experience: An hour and a half on hold to be told, no can not walk in, can not speak to a dentist, call back in the morning, and what on earth has my gender or ethnicity got to do with my toothache? Very poor customer service. No idea about dentist as can not get to see one.
Negative experience: Had telephone conversation with emergency dentist re infection, was prescribed antibiotics and told i had to pick them up from st helens lloyds. Was told they couldnt send it to any other chemist even though i live in south warrington some 9 or 10 miles away. We are being told to keep travel to a minimum during the lockdown and the NHS has me travelling this distance. HOW STUPID!!
Negative experience: Was due to have an appointment for an extraction on the 5th nov 2019 which they have now moved to the 10th of jan 2020 i am in constant pain every day and now i need to wait even longer its pathetic i would advise anyone who gets a referral to this place to ask for somewere diffrent or you spend about half a year in pain not worth your time or money
Fantastic experience: removed my wisdom tooth without any pain at all , excellent dentist , excellent service
Negative experience: So predictable.... Turn up (if you get an appt) Pay up (before your seen) Suck it up 1min and 22 seconds later as your walking out with the standard “we have no intention of helping” with your pain. So now just take this along to your pharmacy and pay up a little more..
Negative experience: Idiots can't even pick up a emergency phone from last 30 mins of waiting..
Negative experience: My pragnant girlfriend went on emergency dentist today. Called night before, no one could take us then. Been said to wait till next morning 8 and call again. Finally got appointment. Before she had 3 sleepless nights and terrible pain. Couldn't take any strong painkillers because of pragnenency. Finally got there, filled the paperwork, receptionist was ok . But when she went to dentist , looked like she didn't know what she does. She sit there between 5 -10 min. Doctor looked at tooth and prescribed antibiotics -firstly they can't be taken during pregnancy. Secondly, before we filled paperwork where she marked that she has bad reaction from penecilin - them antibiotics contained that as well... On her question : what should I do to atleast to get rid of pai? Doctor answered to take some paracitomol because nothing stronger she can't ... Answer came with grinch on her face.... When we went down girlfriend burst out in tiers.... Disgusting, what emergency is it? 72h sleepless. Terrible pain... Looks like you really need to be close to daing to get some sort of help what you are looking for. End up going to private dentist where tooth got taken out straight away... Ended costly but pain is gone. This place ( sorry, not place, but dental doctors) doesnt deserve even one star.
Negative experience: Went with a tooth needing extraction as i had already had a filling which didn't work. Was refused as they don't do difficult extractions. Apparently a molar falls into that category. So unless your tooth is already hanging out don't bother wasting 21.60.
Negative experience: I rang up after suffering from severe pain in one of my teeth and being unable to even close my mouth for a couple of days, my last resort after being unable to get an appointment at my own dentist. I was told by the lady on the phone that my case wasn’t ‘severe’ enough to be seen and that I should try and get an appointment with my own dentist (after I had informed her I couldn’t) - to then be told I should try pain relief; which again I told her I already had been doing. I was also told if I suspect an infection then I can go in, absolutely ridiculous..that’s the reason I wanted the appointment due to pain from an infection. This left me with no option but to call my own dentist and practically beg for an appointment as the pain was unbearable. Low and behold I ended up having my tooth extracted straight away due to an infection in said tooth. I wouldn’t even waste your time here.
Fantastic experience: well run with a quick service. I needed a route canal on a Sunday. Rang them at 9am was in the chair by 1030am. Can't argue with that. Even the lady on the desk got a smile out of me when I walked in and as I'd been up in pain since 2am that morning, that's no mean feat
Negative experience: 24 hours opening hours only to be told they are closed and can only offer non medical advice only. Told to ring 111- who told me to ring here!!! Eventually told by 111 they don't treat dental care issues and to take paracetamol!!!! A novel idea given the amount of pain I'm in! Dont waste your breath .
Negative experience: ammateurs or students!! poor service especially the weekend clinic i have suffered with a large periodontal abcess in the roof of my mouth that needs regular draining for months now and i couldnt get an emergency appointment at my usual dentist so went here, waste of time, they wouldnt cut it to drain as said there is arteries in roof of mouth even though my dentist does it easily and relives the pressure pain,he couldnt even stretch to numb me with an injection, all they did was a litte cotton bud with some cold liquid on and poked my massive sore swelling with the hook!got a little bit of blood out but not the infection!so now its no different, not any better maybe worse as it now has loads of little holes in the swelling frim the damn hook!he seemed scared to cut it to drain it proper. waste of time and 21 quid and im in agony
Negative experience: Managed tio get an emergency appointment on Saturday as had swelling on jaw and a fracture tooth. Paid the 21.90 before seeing anyone and the only.do band 1fixes and this includes extractions. Except... the dentist, was lovely, told me i had a lump... a broken tooth and it needed to come out. I knew that before I went In! She couldn't do an extraction as their machine was broken do sent me on my way with a prescription and told to find a local dentist to take it out! I ended up paying an emergency dentist the day after in desperation!.
