Negative experience: Practise has gone downhill. The dentist doesn’t want to do any work unless you’ve had a checkup in the last 6 months. Paid for a checkup to then ask for a retainer appointment to be told I need to pay for another checkup (had one 6 months ago) and have visited their hygienist since (who I am also a regular with) The only reason I’ve had to wait 6 months for this appointment because they booked me in for a new retainer previously but I was 5 minutes late and John Herring couldn’t see me. Despite the fact I had travelled 45+ minutes to get there and experienced road work issues. I’ve now tried to book back in and can’t unless I pay for another checkup. You’re supposed to be a BUPA service provided but the quality of service is really lacking.

Fantastic experience: After suffering for two days and nights with awful toothache the brilliant staff at BUPA Dentist Garstang booked me in for an emergency appointment and Karen and her staff sorted out my troublesome wisdom tooth which didn’t want to come out!! With perseverance and skill they managed a great job!! Thank you. Xx

Fantastic experience: Really great service. This is the only Bupa Dental I have been to with a proper treatment plan. I moved away and tried practices in London and Bristol. They were both inferior! The clinical side is excellent and the reception staff are friendly.

Fantastic experience: Been attending for a few months now. Left things late as previous bad experience elsewhere. On my first appointment I was a quivering crying wreck. I am now much more confident and calm due to the outstanding patience of staff. They are superb professionals who put the patient first at all times. Who are this dream team? Positive experience: I have had excellent service here. I was treated by John Herring and he explained the treatment plan very clearly. Dental work is never a pleasant experience but my treatment was pain free, methodical and effective. The only thing preventing a 5* review? The cost! But their prices are in line with others, lower than some.

Fantastic experience: The best dentist practice I've ever been to in 49 years. Brian Kilgallen is the kindest,most understanding dentist,especially if you have underlying health problems that make it difficult to breathe. I have emphysema and he's been remarkable with me. He is AMAZING AND SO ARE ALL THE STAFF!!!! . I CAN ACTUALLY SMILE LIKE THAT NOW..LOL. THANKS BRIAN AND TEAM. Receptionists are fantastic too. Thanks to you all xx

Negative experience: Saw me quickly as I was in pain and removed the tooth. Next day my face looked like a baloon and i was unable to swallow. Ended up in Lancaster hospital for a week with a drain out of my jaw. No follow up from dentist to see how I was, thay knew what had happend to me as they contacted the hospital for me.I supose out of sight out of mind they had my money and that was it. I will not be going back to them

The reception staff are a delight and are also very helpful if i ring or come to the practice. Would highly recommend this practice.
