Fantastic experience: I recently had 2 dental implants and a bridge fitted to my upper jaw at Mydentist Hay-on-Wye. The process was gradual starting with tooth extraction in November 2023 and ending in August 2024 with the fitting of the crowns and bridge. I am delighted with the result. The teeth feel as if they have always been there and I can now chew food on both sides of my mouth. Thankyou Paolo!

Fantastic experience: The ladies at My Dentist are fab! Luce is so calming when I visit (not a fan of the dentist) she always makes me feel at ease and will answer the 100’s of questions I have. Grazyna is so knowledgeable and although firm, fair! After having an horrific experience as a child whilst at the dentist, she always goes the extra mile to make me feel comfortable. Thanks ladies

Fantastic experience: Well as always a very warm and smiley reception, been coming here for years now and Iv’e never had a bad experience. I called today to see the hygienist Nicky and for somebody that has to do a lot of digging around in your mouth, I didn’t feel a thing, honestly the staff here are fantastic for anybody with Dentist anxiety you won’t get that here. In my opinion all the staff here are 5 start rated.

I was welcomed by Luci, one of the Reception Team, who was so cheerful, polite and professional, nothing was too much trouble. Dr. Golebiewska was incredibly thorough and helpful. Fantastic experience: Great service. Plenty of convenient appointments and Luci on reception is exceptionally accomplished at rejigging appointments if for some reason you have to cancel or postpone. The dental care is excellent, good communication and explanations of what is being done or is required at all times. A gem of a practice.

Fantastic experience: I recently switched to Mydentist in Hay on a recommendation and following my first visit recently, I am so pleased I’m now with them. To be greeted by a lovely smiley, knowledgeable Receptionist as well as politeness and professionalism is a very welcome change. Aimee the Hygienist was superb, caring and careful. Dr Grazyna Golebiewska was just wonderful with such a caring manner. An amazing all round 5 star practice!

Fantastic experience: Firstly, Luci,one of the receptionists is so smiley and polite when first greeted, makes you feel at ease, the other receptionists are also lovely.Jess the dentist was amazing with me, I'm really nervous but she took time too explain every single step and took lots of time too make sure the work she was doing was spot on. One of the better experiences iv had with a dentist.

Fantastic experience: Catching up after the pandemic I've had a couple of hygeinist treatments which were very good, and a couple of fillings, which were outstanding. Grazyna is far and away the best dentist I've ever had, and the reception team are always cheerful and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I needed an emergency appointment after receiving some poor dental work at a different practice and I couldn’t be more grateful for the treatment plan that My Dentist Hay has put in place for me. After having bad experiences in the past, they totally put me at ease and didn’t make me feel embarrassed or uncomfortable even when I was feeling anxious. Fantastic experience: I needed an emergency repair and was so stressed and the team at My Dentist really did come to my rescue!! The receptionist was so friendly and informative, kept me calm and dealt with my problem so quickly! When I arrived at the practice for my procedure, the team were so welcoming and Grazyna repaired my tooth to the highest standard alongside her calming and kind approach. So impressed and I will definitely be back!

Negative experience: Even though the actual dentist work was good the rest of the experience I've had with this dentist is poor. Appointments get cancelled without apology and that's not just for NHS patients, in our family we've all had that. I had one cancelled around Christmas and today had a call to cancel tomorrow's appointment. That appointment was actually an urgent matter but following the dentists own advice I booked a regular checkup to avoid paying £85 for a 5 minute visit. I just get his feeling that someone with a bigger bill to pay got my slot.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic practice - always look after their patients so well. Such a polite and welcoming receptionist with really understanding doctors. Can’t recommend enough.

Fantastic experience: I have recently moved to this practice and can't fault them. Great communication and flexibility and most of all the best care.

Negative experience: Used to be good - but since covid appointment after appointment has been cancelled claiming dentist on leave and as a result we haven't managed to see a dentist for years. Contrary to this we received a letter yesterday saying not doing NHS any more, although the first line reads "I have been committed to caring for your dental needs and providing you with a high level of dental care...!!!!" and then suggested we pay a monthly fee to go private. Sounds like they are making enough money if they can have that much leave! There is no way I will be paying for private treatment for such a poor service. And I hope others follow suit!

Fantastic experience: I recently visited My Dentist in Hay and had an appointment with Grazyna. She instantly put me at ease and explained all the procedures that she would be doing! I also saw Nicky the hygienist who was really friendly and gentle. I would recommend this practice to anyone who is looking for a professional and friendly experience.

Fantastic experience: My experience at My dentist (Hay-On-Wye) has been great! Isa Mendes is the best orthodontist I’ve ever had! Holley is great, funny, knowledgeable and comforting!! she’s a great nurse, and deserves a pay rise!! The receptionist’s Lucy and the team are very welcoming, so overall, a great dentist with lovely staff.

Fantastic experience: I have been registered with this dentist for years and I have always had a positive experience with it. The team there are always exceptionally professional, yet friendly too. I am an extremely nervous patient and I have always trusted the nurses and dentists there, as they have made me feel calm and safe. Although there have been some delays due to COVID, which is understandable, the receptionists also ensure they can fit your appointment in as soon as possible and are attentive with any queries.

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient here for over four years & In my experience I've never had a better dental practice. I've always found all of the staff and dentists to be friendly and caring, which I think, is what's important for many.... I've had multiple treatments with both Dr Mendes & Dr Golebiewska in this time, both have provided me with excellent care every time. Hopefully I'll be coming to this dental practice for many more years.......(but not too often I hope!) Thankyou again to all the staff.

Fantastic experience: Lovely staff, friendly and positive service every time, especially during the restrictions & challenges of the Covid era. I've had several treatments here over the past few years and have always been treated brilliantly, most recently a few weeks ago and I'm very happy with the result. Negative experience: Poor communication by reception staff, practice manager is the same. If not, worse. I'd you're in pain and need care, they don't give a Damn. Find a practice somewhere else to be honest.

Fantastic experience: Dr Golebiewska was brilliant. I had a root canal procedure which takes two trips and both times it was over before I knew it and I felt no pain. Really recommend.

Fantastic experience: Top marks especially if your a nervous patient, the dentist makes you feel very relaxed. The NHS dentist is only available Wednesday to Friday. We would recommend!
