Fantastic experience: Really pleasant experience at Bupa Dental Care today. It was my first visiting the dentist and hygienist, really happy with the outcomes. Reception staff are super welcoming and friendly as are all the nurses.

Fantastic experience: Reception are extremely efficient and friendly. Adam (orthodontist) and Agnes (lead dental nurse) have looked after my son Oliver 110%. Everything was explained in detail and no question was unanswered. They are very professional and I would not hesitate to recommend them. Thank you so much, it really is appreciated. Martin

Fantastic experience: What can I say about this dental practice: exceptional customer service. I was recommended this practice over ten years ago, as I initially had braces, and I will continue to be a loyal customer because it is simply the best dental practice I have ever visited. I travel from York but the commute is so worth it because I’m very particular about my teeth and I have them cleaned every 3 months by Louise because she is the best in the business. The level of care and professionalism is just amazing and I always come away feeling so happy with the thorough cleaning of my teeth. Also, please can I give a shoutout to her sidekick, Shelby, because she is always so lovely. A special mention to the ladies on the desk (sorry I can’t remember your names) but the front of house are also exceptional, especially as sometimes I’m late or I have to swap/ change my appointments and they are always accommodating. So thank you to everyone.

Fantastic experience: I have always held an irrational fear of the dentist and as such have been reluctant to seek orthodontic treatment. I am in my 50’s and am one year along my orthodontic treatment. The staff at BUPA Harrogate have been professional, caring and supportive and I would recommend their service to anyone considering orthodontist treatment.

Negative experience: My son was recommended to this clinic last year by our dentist. It has the Worst receptionist I came across in my life.Very rude and ignorant , last time I missed my appointment duo to family emergency and I phoned to make another appointment the receptionist told me I have to wait 3 month to be seen ! I said are u sure ? They saw my son about 2 months ago and if he cannot see him for 3 months May be it’s better to talk to the doctor before you tell me that . She told me doctor Harris or Harrison is not available. Again I said please can you call me if you have cancellations so I don’t have to wait this long. But they never did . So I had to wait for 3 month to be seen by them . Today was my son’s appointment at 11:30 AM we got there at 11:20 after about 30 min lots of people got inside even the ones who came after us . I went to reception to see if they checked us in . She said yes they are behind schedule you will be next . That’s not even the worst part ! When ‘doctor/dentist/ orthodontist ( the guy who was not available for 3 months) came in straight away started insulting me and my son . He was telling me that I’m responsible because my eleven year old son teeth has a bit of germ on them and apparently it is disrespectful to HIM and HIS STAFF members.also he wants to stop the treatment because he is not taking care of his braces (he sounded more concerned about the actual braces than my son’s teeth) and he hasn’t seen him for month ( which it was actually not my fault because he was not available for a long time) Last time another orthodontist from the same clinic did exactly the same thing and talk to my son in a very mean way like she was discussed by looking at his teeth. it was the second time they we insulting me and accusing me of being a bad mother. I told him my son is only eleven and I took him for professional cleaning to our dentist ( because I did not want to be insulted by their staff) He is brushing his teeth 3 times a day and I cannot force him more than that! He was arguing with me otherwise. I said I don’t want to be rude BUT isn’t this your job??! You are a dentist/orthodontist you are looking at people’s teeth and get money for that ! He said I don’t want to talk to u . You are insulting me and left the room . I said it’s ok we will go some where else BUT I will complain about him and I’ll do whatever I Can to tell people how they treated me . I swear I’m not over reacting .it really Broke my heart that they treated me this way that I had to hide my tears from my son while I was driving to Leeds .As a mother i will not let any one treat my child this way. I will NOT go back there ever again and I will make a writing Complain to NHS Dental services .
