Fantastic experience: We phoned the emergency dental service at 11 am for my Mum who was visiting from Yorkshire. She developed tooth pain whilst here. The service was absolutely fabulous. She got an appointment within a few hours, and was treated with the utmost care. Brett and Scottish Dawn you were both brilliant. Your kindness and compassion were second to none. Mum is so thank full that you got her out of pain. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: Went in for emergency dental treatment, i was very nervous as i had a tooth abcess and the tooth was extracted. From start to finish i could not fault the service, friendly reception staff and the dentist and nurses made me feel at ease while i was there. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I cant remember the dentists name but he was so lovely, very reassuring and talked me through everything. I got a wisdom tooth taken out and it was quite traumatic and I had huge anxiety but he made it alot better made sure I was completely and utterly numbed up. His dental nurse assisting him was lovely and kind as well.

Fantastic experience: 2 days with massive toothache, rang 8am Saturday, appointment 1pm. Starting at reception nice and professional service. Got x-ray, options to save the tooth not just quick extraction.

Negative experience: This morning a woman frin emergency dentist team Whitegate drive phone wot a rude unprofessional person. You should off told me to take medication report which was a waste off my time as dentist in Cleveleys was unhelpful and said he couldn't take tooth out as to busy so wots the point off me driving there wasting my time and money. Also why did I have to sign when he done nothing so do please tell me wot he gets paid for when he done nothing. And the women at dental access team should learn some manners and respect for patients and be professionally. Wot a waste of time....and you get paid for being unprofessional and rude joke...

Fantastic experience: Great service, once id got through the phone Queue and got to Whitegate drive it was very speedy, pleasant and apart from a poke from the needle painless. Very good service.

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to say the two ladies Lucy and I think Cherie were absolutely amazing today . I had such a phobia of dentists after a bad experience when I was younger . Lucy talked me through every step and was so kind and reassuring. The extraction was pain free and now I feel I can carry on going to a dentist in the future as they have calmed my fear completely. Two ladies with such a credit to their profession.

Negative experience: Attempted to access emergency help for my mother who has dementia. Person who answered the phone would not wait until I got my Mother, who can not speak, to come to the phone. The phone call could not continue until my mother had spoken on the phone!!! Vascular dementia unable to speak Yet I had to wait 25minutes for someone to pick the phone up. She then put the phone down on me. There’s a zero tolerance policy for patients to adhere to. Perhaps staff need to be mindful that rude behaviour is NOT tolerated by patients either. Training is definitely required by dental access team, Trust has Dementia Awareness training. The team need to access this as a priority.

Fantastic experience: been in pain for months & don’t have a regular dentist. got an emergency same day appointment, x ray and extraction took place in less than 20 minutes. the dentist was amazing & made me feel reassured & i experienced no pain at all

Negative experience: I rang the emergency dentist at 8am, I got through and then the woman put the phone down on me as soon as I did and now I can’t get through at all. Absolute joke!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant was assessed on the phone the lady was real nice got appointment same day as little as 2hr later. Dentist was really good and very caring both of them tooth extracted pain gone. Thank you so much for the great service

Fantastic experience: Over the past week, i had the pleasure of using the emergency dentist at Whitegate Drive twice.. From the very beginning , the reception staff warmly welcomed and helped me with the forms. The dentist was very competent and knowledgeable with her work. The assistants are very nice and put you at ease. During the appointment, they were professional in their approach. I would highly recommend the service to anyone with a tooth problem. Fantastic experience: Up all night with toothache. Phoned at 8.30am , appointment at 10am , extraction at 10.20am , back home with my feet up at 10.45am. 1st class service.

Fantastic experience: Visited this afternoon, efficient from the receptionist to the Lady and Gentleman who provided the treatment, in a kind manor, thank you.

Negative experience: Went there 2 years ago or so and had to listen to lady dentist talking to her assistant about her divorce whilst pulling my tooth. Had to go back yesterday on advice of 111 NHS line and was pritty much told I am a liar? Waited an hour and left to come home whilst obviously needing at least antibiotics due to swollen face and more worrying lump on my neck. Up all night and I believe it is due to there snobbery TBH? There dentists I don't understand but I guess they slept well whilst I as a grown man have been in tears with pain I believe change is needed I have waited 4 years and still not got my own dentist to go to. I have no joy in posting this review and I do not really care if I hurt anyone's feelings because I feel hurt both physically and emotionally

Fantastic experience: A temporary filling I had whilst waiting on a root canal had failed at a weekend and this service honestly saved the day. I was in severe pain as it had gotten infected. Jaw was swollen and I hadn't slept for a good two days. You have to phone up to get an appointment and it is a bit of a hassle with long waiting times (I was in the queue for almost an hour) but it's well worth the time and effort. Private option was over £100 this was under £30. They gave me choices, explaining fully what each entailed and then took out the failed temporary filling, cleaned out and disinfected my tooth. Capping it again for me with another temporary filling. Pain gone, time for some sleep

Fantastic experience: I went to emergency dentist and she made me feel so at ease my anxiety was through the roof her last name was mcintyre who I seen and she even gave me a referral to an nhs dentist she was loveley thankyou so much I hate dentist but she was amazing

Negative experience: joke can’t even do your jobs properly so angry

Negative experience: be aware don't believe it if they say you get free treatment I'm now facing a huge bill and the NHS just cant wait to name and shame me for there mistake there a joke

Fantastic experience: Not going to lie I was absolutely terrified of going here, but while it was an uncomfortable procedure the dentist and his assistant eased my worries tenfold, they were magnificent.

Negative experience: No out of hours appointments I was in 10/10 pain and needed the tooth out. They just said you will have to wait till tomorrow.

Fantastic experience: I have recently had a tooth a extracted and i couldn’t be happier with the service. The reception staff, the lady who helped the dentist and the dentist himself were 1st class. Made a very anxious patient feel at complete ease and explained each step they were taking. If only the rest of the nhs was run this way. 10/10.. thank you.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant service. Didn't manage to get an appointment yesterday, but got one today. Time allocated, friendly reception staff and dental staff.very helpful. They sorted my issue and offered advice. Nothing more to say. Fantastic service.thank you.

Fantastic experience: being going here for 10 years not llways great as in service provider but cannot fault overall not based on a couple of visits but about 40. Receptionist spot on Steve

Negative experience: Horrendous experience. One side of my mouth is now totally infected probably due to the multiple dental block injections spreading the infection. Refused to give antibiotics on the day. Tooth snapped at the root and left in. Ive been so so poorly and not out of the woods yet.

Negative experience: Refused to see me to replace a filling because my pain and swelling level wasn't severe enough despite explaining I cant get in any dentists locally for over 6 months (due to no NHS dentists taking on). They said they would only pull the tooth out - despite their website listing fillings as being a service they offer under band 2. What are people supposed to do if they cant get in at an NHS dentists anywhere?!

Fantastic experience: This is the second time my family have used the dental access service and it is second to none. Appointments bang on time and a quick but caring service delivered by pleasant, talented and experienced people. You have to make an appointment (no walk ins) but if you are visiting Blackpool and have a dental emergency, here's where you go. When booking don't forget to give them the address where you are staying because the booking service covers all of Lancashire.
