Negative experience: Rubbish service. Signed in waitied for 40 mins. Did not get seen noone called my name out. Checked with reception she said I had been put down as not turning up. Not good service for a cancer patient.

Fantastic experience: I had an outstanding experience at this facility. The service was exemplary, and I was particularly impressed by the incredibly helpful reception staff, who greeted me warmly and assisted with any questions I had. The nurses were not only professional but also compassionate, ensuring that I felt comfortable and well cared for during my visit. Additionally, the dentists displayed exceptional skill and expertise, taking the time to explain procedures and address my concerns thoroughly. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking quality dental care.

Positive experience: Dental treatment is top notch — no complaints there. Unfortunately, the customer service lets the experience down (in my opinion). You're required to check in using a touchscreen at the entrance, while two receptionists sit behind the desk. It feels impersonal and unwelcoming. At my last appointment, the car park was almost empty and the waiting room was quiet, yet I still waited over 25 minutes past my scheduled time. During that time, several staff members walked silently through the area — the whole atmosphere felt cold and disconnected. It’s a shame, because the clinical care is excellent but for private treatment you expect a more welcoming and professional environment overall.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to explore various options and combine teeth whitening on lower jaw - which also has a few irregular shaped teeth with crowding. I always am aware/mindful of the vibe of a place as that tells me a lot about the reliability of an organisation. My experience with Cosmetic White Smiles was exceptional. We discussed the issues, the options and methods that could be used - and crucially I felt the Dentist was fully present and deeply listened - I intuitively trust him. He watched and listened to ensure I understood his suggestions. Yep, I will be continuing to use Cosmetic White Smiles and I already have a course agreed and have my first two appointments booked to get the show on the road.

Fantastic experience: Jai Ghelani removed a large decayed wisdom tooth for me, it had the potential to be very unpleasant. He clearly explained the risks, but did a great job so none of the risks were realised. He carefully described how I should look after it post-op, and it recovered really well as a result. I was expecting stress and discomfort, but was surprised by how little of it there actually was.

Fantastic experience: Richard and his team were amazing. The Root Canal Procedure I had did not hurt at all. I was very nervous but Richard and his assistant reassured me and was very patient. Thank you would highly recommend.

I saw Neil Patel and he was very caring, made me feel comfortable as I was very nervous. I have been back today 11 June to have it extracted and it was not as bad as I thought. Thank you so much to Neil and his dental nurse (sorry didn't know her name but she held my hand and reassured me) I will be signing up for their dental plan. A lovely team of staff ❤️

I couldn't believe how quick and thorough the whole procedure was.Very professional and the female dentist and her assistant, were so polite and curtious. I Highly recommend this Dental practise.I assure you that you will not be dissapointed!

EDITED : No longer our dentist after years of being with them due to no longer serving NHS patients. Fantastic experience: My son had 2 teeth extracted ahead of having a brace fitted. He was very anxious but the dentist and nurse went above and beyond to put him at ease, explaining every step, getting him a squeeze ball to help his anxiety and taking their time so he was able to calm. Negative experience: Front desk staff are incredibly rude and condescending. Walked out rather than sign up with them. I didn't even ask about NHS patients and was fully prepared to go private, but after the insistence that we don't accept NHS and you have to pay up front I just walked out. Bupa on Raynesway is much nicer and better.

Fantastic experience: I'm not the best patient but regular dentistry is very valuable, all at Cosmetic White Smiles do their best to make visits bearable and good quality dental work is the minimum that they deliver. I am happy to recommend this dental practice.

He was so thorough I felt that all my concerns were addressed. He was honest about the prognosis but left me feeling optimistic that with careful planning and following advice given , I will be able to manage my condition. Fantastic experience: Top practice, excellent customer service and expertise for dental work. I have been a patient here for over a decade and even though recently I have now a new dentist - Aum - (the original one has now retired), I still feel the level of respect and care that made me choose it all those years ago. With clear communication and calling first thing in the morning, it is possible to get an appointment at short notice and receive the help I need. Highly recommend - especially if you are nervous about who is taking care of your mouth - they know their stuff.

Negative experience: Bad management not very consistent with transition from nhs to private 2 weeks notice given to be told will have to pay private prices otherwise my children wouldn't be able to attend then to find out patients 8 months later have been offered nhs prices after I was made to pay private.. scammed!!! Avoid

Negative experience: Very disappointed that patients are being taken off NHS dental and not being informed until they call to make an appointment then being told they have to pay for treatment if they need it when not everyone can afford it.Text messages should be sent to inform patients of this so they can register at alternative dental practices so they can register before they actually require treatment. My father is a wheelchair user and has other health problems that have taken priority and now he actually requires dental treatment has to pay a ridiculous amount or has to register elsewhere and wait for registration to go through and wait for an appointment to be available to a new patient when if a text had been sent we would’ve registered him months ago and been able to book him in this week. Fair enough you no longer do nhs care however a simple text message to inform should be standard practice

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with Dr Vishaal Bedi. From the moment I walked into the room I was greeted with a warm smile and a freindly nurse. I was so impressed with his expertise and attention to detail, and I felt completely at ease during my visit. I would highly recommend Dr Vishal Bedi to anyone who is looking for exceptional care!.

Negative experience: Vish Bedi. Probably the rudest dentist I've ever met. He continued to poke a raw nerve even after I told him to stop, he shamed me for being poor and having a lot of dental issues, and he refused to do the 3 fillings I needed done. I cried most of the way home. He's clearly only interested in making money off of people. I'll be going to Birmingham to see the nice dentist thst I saw before at this practice.

Negative experience: Like other reviewers, I was very disappointed to hear today, at the end of my appointment that I am no longer an NHS patient, after over 20 years with the practice. No correspondence advising about the change, or forewarning. It seems that keeping up with regular checkups and loyalty count for nothing. Such a shame, as we have always been very happy with their service

Positive experience: Recently (2023/4) had examination with very personable dentist. Am currently with a practice as NHS patient. I am told that Cosmetic White Smiles at Oakwood DO NOT take NHS patients yet on this site it states that they do. Come on, let’s be clear about this misleading info.

Negative experience: Teeth whitening course didn't work despite using as prescribed. Poor response when I told them course was ineffective.

Negative experience: Replacement retainer doesn't fit, hangs off upper left back side, causes severe pain on front centre teeth during and after use, poor fit is causing a negative movement of front teeth which feels like it's harming years worth of brace treatment. I'm sure they'd fit me in for new impressions if I could return, but I'm not local to the practice, I am left with a poor retainer that is unfit for use. I am very disappointed in this and believe it was due to complacency

Has been very methodical, patient, and above all. Understanding and sympathetical to myself.. I can not be more pleased with the treatment i have received. Fantastic experience: Had an extreme filling by these guys (private) after being let down by the nhs. Still getting used to it but amazed how my jaw actually looks straight again after so long struggling with a broken nhs filling. Although it’s expensive I won’t be going anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I came here on Thursday for an emergency appointment. I was seen by Shyaam. I am terrified of dentists and if I’m being truthful, I haven’t been to a dentist for over 10-15 years. I was in so much pain with my tooth that I had to book an appointment which I was very nervous about. Shyaam made me feel so comfortable and at ease the moment I stepped into the room. I ended up having a filling and a wisdom tooth removed all with ease and no pain at all. I was so impressed I’ve now registered with this practice and have booked an appointment for a routine check up. A huge thank you to Shyaam and the nurse that helped me feel so comfortable during a stressful time. The reception team were lovely too. I highly recommend this practice!

Fantastic experience: Despite having regular appointments here over the years with a different hygienist, my teeth have been getting ever more stained, especially in the hard to reach areas between the teeth, where my coffee consumption had literal left it’s mark. I’d accepted it wasn’t going to get any better after all of these years My usual hygienist has left the practice so Neil my dentist recommended I see Rahul as they had received great feedback. WOW! He was so thorough, a completely different experience to anything that has gone before and the net result is that my teeth are absolutely beautifully clean and sparkling white. The coffee stains have completely gone! Hold onto him, he’s a real asset to the practice.

Fantastic experience: I visited Cosmetic White Smiles today after causing damage to my tooth over the weekend. They managed to fit me in to a very busy diary and as always, Sandy and Maria were amazing. Fantastic experience: Been going here since I was let down by my NHS dentist last year. The joining process was easy and all the staff have been extremely friendly and welcoming which is a very different experience to what I had at my previous NHS dentist. I have had a course of Invisalign and composite bonding by Jai Ghelani who has done an amazing job, he has been amazing, very patient with me and his skills are excellent. Michelle has also been so supportive during my treatment. I’m extremely happy with the outcome and I would highly recommend Oakwood Dental Centre.

Negative experience: Awful customer service and very dismissive when I have been trying bear with them and be understanding of their business difficulty during COVID restrictions. I now have a root canal needed which they have been delaying since 2020 and I called today about a tooth which partially broke over Christmas, leaving me with a very swollen and painful jaw for the last 6 days. I was told to call back Friday to try and book an appointment and when I said that seemed like a very long way round to even book for an appointment and that I was desperate I was rudely asked why I didn't call first thing this morning... Should be ashamed of your approach to people, very poor.

This practice was highly recommended to me and I certainly know why. For anyone reading this who is petrified of dentist surgery’s believe me when I say there is no need to be if you attend here. My dentist was S Vallabh I cannot give this dentist enough praise as there are no words to explain just how good he was. From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out after my treatment I cannot speak highly enough of how good he was and what a truly lovely person he was.
