Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Robert Gill highly enough that's for sure he restored my faith in dentists having previously been let down by a private dentist who took away most of my teeth and gave me lots of fillings that I did not expect and having them fall out soon afterwards. I haven't even thought about going through this again but this year I made the decision to find another practice and oh my god I'm so thankful to Dr.Robert he has been brilliant and he said that I shouldn't expect anything great, but his work is just unbelievable I couldn't believe the results today after my appointment. Fantastic experience: I have been using Isca Dental practice in Caerleon for at least the last 15 years and can not recommend this practice enough ! I used to be quite fearful of the dentist but not any longer ! Brilliant team, from the reception, hygienists, nurses to the dentists. All providing a first class service with patience, kindness and professionalism. I have always found reception to be kind and accommodating . They are all big on prevention and I can particularly recommend Anita the hygienist, although I find all the hygienist the best I have ever seen. I have found all the dentists to be great, and I used to see the brilliant Dr Justin Roberts who is also super lovely and kind and great at putting you at ease. More recently I have seen the excellent Robert Gill for treatment on an inlay over a broken tooth. He did an excellent job, super neat ! He was kind, professional, reassuring and great at explaining everything. The whole team really are just the best !

Fantastic experience: Just had a new crown fitted. Whole experience was carried out with brilliant care. Every step of the process was explained and the treatment given was painless and comfortable.

Fantastic experience: My visit today was to have a back tooth extraction, I am 82 and it’s only the second tooth I have lost so I was apprehensive. Justin took over and did the job so easily I should not have been concerned. No pain and the tooth came out before I knew it! In fact I couldn’t believe it was out. Great treatment .

Positive experience: Although the professionals themselves do a good job, very polite, and it is fairly easy to get an appointment, the waiting times on the day are a nuisance. Unfortunately every time I visit they are running behind on appointments. And as a paying client, I would expect better service - for example, a text to let me know so I am not rushing to sit in the dental surgery. I often have to give up personal or work time to fit in an appointment, and given the amount I pay it really isn't great. Not to mention my appointments are never as long as the time I have been waiting. Better timekeeping and diary management is needed to make it a 5* service.

Fantastic experience: Dr Justin Roberts has been my dentist and friend for over 20 years. Such is my trust in his work, his gentleness and outstanding commitment, that I wouldn't even consider a change. To this end, I travel from my current home in North Wales for treatment at the Isca Dental Clinic. I also want to praise the high caliber of support staff at the clinic, all of whom are both professional and kind. I recommend this Clinic most highly. I first wrote here a number of years ago, but have now updated it. Much has happened and through all that has happened I have to say that in spite of Covid, Brexit and my own problems, the one thing that has remained unchanged has been the kindness and professionalism of Isca Dental. I continue to recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: I have been with ISCA Dental Practice for a number of years now and it’s like a family. They take such great care of you and everything is tailored to each individual patient. My hygienist and dentist know my history and each visit is tailored around that and advice and support is given each time around maintaining good dental health care. I’m 47 and don’t have any fillings so that tells you how amazing they are!!! I also have all my own teeth lol. Joking aside, Even on a personal level they remember everything about you and chat to you on that level. I always feel at ease. I have never felt nervous, on edge or Uncomfortable. It’s like popping into see friends. They are caring, compassionate and clearly dedicated to the work they do. They have been on many journeys with me from losing my parents who were also patients there to me recently getting married and have commiserated and celebrated with me. I can’t rate them highly enough. If I could give 100 stars I would. Five just doesn’t seem enough. Thank you to the team for always being there and just being who you all are.

Fantastic experience: Had a painless extraction by Dr Roberts 22/1/20. He is the best Dental surgeon I have experienced in my seventy years. Had another appointment with Dr Roberts. Again excellent advice for future procedures to ensure oral health Again had another good scale & polish by their excellent staff.

Fantastic experience: My teeth were in a really bad state when I met Justin. I struggled daily with my confidence and felt like I was being judged on my appearance in my workplace. I also have anxiety issues which are always triggered by a visit to the dentist. Justin was brilliant throughout the whole process. He kept me calm and the treatment was relatively painless. I now have a beautiful smile and my confidence has gone through the roof. It has literally changed my life, I'm constantly smiling. Fantastic experience: I seen Isca Dental Centre online after a Google search on what was available local to me. I decided to give it a try to whiten my teeth, I can honestly say that it was the best decision I have made in regards to Dental work. From the moment I entered the practice the staff were so obliging. I wasn't waiting to long and I was called in to see a gentleman called Justin who examined my teeth and took measurements and an implant to make a perfect gum shield in order to put the gel they provide. I was then told to return in a weeks time. I returned after a week where I was showed how to apply the gel to the gym shield and put to do this for an hour or so a day. I have been doing as instructed by Justin and, I am so, so happy with the results, my teeth feel and look good already. I have a while to go on the gel they provided but, I am so very pleased with the results already. With that said I would very highly recommend Isca Dental to anyone looking for the teeth whitening service, hassle free. Amazing Practice, Martin Fernquest

Fantastic experience: My first visit to ISCA dental for a examination/check-up and transfer to the practice. A very good experience with a modern approach, good use of modern technology, lovely team and a superior examination to my previous NHS provider. All in all, a great first experience.

Positive experience: Hygienist was wonderful as always, however I was supposed to have a dentist check-up as well and was told they were not in work today. I had made arrangements for my daughter as couldnt take her to school because of the check-up and frustrating to see they now take deposits for future checkups when they dont adhere to their own standards and then dont turn up for appointments booked (and received email confirmation for last week that it was happening).

Fantastic experience: I went to isca dental by personal recommendation. I've always had crooked teeth and now had 2 false teeth on a plate fitted by my existing dentist which made me feel ancient and although I'm no spring chicken I wanted for once in my life to have a smile to be proud of. I have not stopped smiling since my treatment has been completed I'm absolutely thrilled with the result and so glad that I acted on the recommendation I've transferred to isca dental for all my dental care. I have been scared of going to the dentist for years and it is only the staff at Isca Dental that have calmed me down and been patient and understanding. Justin and the team are totally professional. I have had root fillings that didn't hurt as I was treated properly first. I have had two crowns that have lasted years because of the quality of the dentist's work. I even agreed to an implant which would never have been the case years ago. It was a little daunting but everything went so smoothly. They have restored my faith. I cannot recommend them enough. I would never go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: My appointment today was supposed to be with Anita the hygienist but she was away so a new person was standing in for her. She was very pleasant ,helpful and professional no problem to go to her again but Anita is always the best!!

Fantastic experience: Aleisha and Anita are both professional and patient friendly. They make you feel relaxed, talk through what they are going to do step by step. If at any time you are in discomfort with a procedure, they will stop and assess how they can finish the treatment for a satisfactory result for both them and their patient. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: I recently visited Isca Dental for a lot of dental work having been to 4 other practices in Cardiff and Newport and I am incredibly pleased with the entire experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming, making me feel comfortable and at ease, I'm not the easiest of patients. Dr. Justin Roberts was professional and thorough in explaining the procedures for my complex and what I thought was expensive needs.What I appreciated most was their attention to detail and their willingness to answer all my questions, providing tips on how to maintain good oral hygiene and look after my new set of teeth. The clinic itself is modern and spotless, equipped with the latest technology, which added to my confidence in their services. Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment today with Aliesha and I couldn’t be happier. I explained how I have bad anxiety when it comes to dentists and Aliesha could not have been anymore understanding. She made me feel comfortable and at ease instantly. It has already made me less anxious for my next appointment. Her assistant Paige is also lovely and welcoming as is Rachel on reception. Such a great team! :) I will no longer go anywhere else.
