Fantastic experience: Just had my braces removed after having them on from May 2024. I selected a metal bottom brace and ceramic top brace. I was told it would be 12/15 months but only 9 months later and my teeth are like a whole new set of teeth and braces were already ready to be removed! I am a private patient and started my braces journey at 30 years old so I would 100% recommend any adults to come here. Edie has been absolutely incredible from day 1, I cannot thank her enough for all her help and absolutely nothing was too much hassle.

Negative experience: Just waited in a call queue for almost 2 hours and then they cut me off!!! Absolutey ridiculous. Cant believe this is what we need to go through to try to get appointment (an appointment required to fix 2 brackets that fell off within an hour of being fitted). Absolutely raging at the service and work!

Negative experience: Bloody joke of a practice. Had an appointment on Saturday morning 10am. Showed up at 9.50 the place was empty and lights off. Knocked the damn door and called the number. No one was there and today the manage Shirley is saying that patients were there from 8-2 and only we didn't show up. She kept on going like a broken record saying they were there. Maybe , but I don't see ghosts. Now they want me to pay £60 for not showing up. What a bunch of thieves. But after reading other reviews, I think it's a blessing in disguise not to get treated from this awful place. I'll definitely stay away from these crooks. They like to remove teeths (easy way to screw up) than fixing them. Thieves is a respectable tern. I won't even call them thieves. There are a bunch of *****.

Negative experience: I think this clinic has too many patients on its books. More than they can accommodate in the correct timing to minimise treatment time, which minimises possible issues in the teeth and gums but mainly bone loss! Time between appointments is longer than it should/needs to be. Some are extended to an extra month on top of a “6week check”, some even into two months extra. Excuses are that they have holidays coming up or more school kids will be in attendance soon, all clinics are full despite several in many areas. On one occasion I personally sat with a broken bracket that was caused by staff who misplaced it after a remove then replace bracket, didn’t even get home that day before it snapped off, there was no tension in the brace so a complete waste of about 8weeks until they could see me again. I wish I had known they were at capacity for managing patients in a timely manner so I could have went elsewhere. I don’t feel listened to regarding questions about my own treatment or my end goal of the smile I want to achieve. I am not a fan of creating long teeth and so far this is the results I’m left with until the end of September at least! That’s from May. Proper patient management should be listed appointments for the next year or expected treatment length if their clinics are this full so no patient is suffering or penalised for their greed of numbers of patients!

Negative experience: GOD AWFUL!!! DO NOT GO HERE! They have changed their name several times because they've been so bad! I went when I was a teenager to get my teeth fixed. Ended up having to get braces twice cuz they couldn't do their job properly. Went back a couple days ago cuz my bonded retainer broke (5th time now over the years) so I finally went to get it removed/fixed, got a plastic retainer instead (but that's fine) (Did you know there's a 42% success rate for a bonded retainer? I didn't, they didn't tell me when I first went years ago. If I knew, that would have impacted my decision on certain things) However, the orthodontist I was talking to was condescending, kept tapping my shoulder, making me feel uncomfortable, and kept repeating that 'you're in control' which is a way of saying, 'go for this option but you can't blame us if your teeth move cuz it'll be your fault'. But my teeth are eff'ed already cuz he liked pulling teeth (when I had him years ago) and I ended up with unnecessary gaps. (I honestly thought he got fired) Anyway, my experience recently- I was burned (not severely) with a hot instrument on my face, they scraped off the glue off of the back of my teeth where my bonded retainer was but too much and now I have a slight 'dent' in the back of my tooth (as in they filed into it a little) and I asked them several questions regarding what was going to be happening and they said one thing, and did the opposite??? USELESS. I'm so unhappy but I'm stuck with it now. But just don't go here at all!!!

Negative experience: Daughters brace snapped both sides within one week of fitting to be told can't get an appointment for another 3 weeks.time They care more about numbers through the door than the actual patients.

Despite interruptions due to the COVID pandemic, I have always had first class treatment from the staff and been fitted in for repairs when possible. I have been able to ask any questions comfortably and always been taken seriously and treated with respect. The staff here are lovely and I’m delighted with my result!

Negative experience: My son was getting treatment done for the past 5 years and wasn't getting appointments since last year due to them having admin days. Asked receptionist could we move to another orthodontic and they said yes and set up the referral. Found out through my sons dentist you can't move to another orthodontic during treatment. Never once told by any receptionist from Jordanhill.

Negative experience: Were amazing at the start but now struggling to provide service we need. Unable to rearrange appointments and my child apparently at fault for their brace being damaged..... Broken tooth and brace broken in two places and a 4 week wait but struggled to get this. Recent contact with reception has highlighted there are almost no appointments if something goes wrong. We'd not have chosen this provider if we'd known how stretched they are. Hopefully things improve but friends are also experiencing these issues (especially when things go wrong).

Fantastic experience: I visited the Hamilton infinity smiles orthodontist after referral from my own dentist due to misalignment in my teeth. I underwent Invisalign treatment which has drastically improved the look of my teeth. Throughout the duration of wearing the liners I received regular appointments to ensure progress was made with the treatment. I am very happy with the outcome and feel a lot more confident with the appearance of my teeth. I would highly recommend the practice and service to others.
