Fantastic experience: I had to share my first experience of Bridge Street dental practice. I haven’t been to a dentist in around 4 years, built up lots of fear / anxiety and was a little embarrassed to be honest. I knew I hadn’t been taking care of my teeth, needed work and a good hygiene clean. I started to feel a little tinge in my tooth and decided I needed to visit the dentist before it became a problem. I researched local dentists and came across bridge street, the 5* reviews and reviews about other people in a similar position sharing their positive experience made me complete the online enquiry. I was contacted by Nicola the next day and she was amazing, shared all the information and booked my appointment for the following Monday (today). I called up to pay for the new patient fee and spoke to Amanda who was equally lovely, she told me all about my dentist Dr Adnaan, I mentioned I was nervous and she wrote this on my file and was so caring and understanding! I felt a bit pathetic afterwards to be honest but felt it was important to mention! Anyway, I visited this afternoon and Mary on reception was so nice, asking about my day, offering tea / coffee. I felt immediately relaxed. Dr Adnaan, was caring, genuine, non judgmental as was Rosie. I felt like I had known them for years. I started to relax ! I need two fillings which I booked back in for and had a polish and clean while there today. I feel such a relief and glad I overcame my anxiety. Now on a journey to healthier teeth and gums. Amanda and Nicola were both there today and I mentioned how their kindness and understanding made me book the appointment. Genuinely caring nice people. Fantastic experience: Been coming here for a couple of years now. Had a filling replaced on Wednesday and I told them I was really nervous as soon as I got in there and Zara (I think it was Zara but I'm awful with remembering names!) and Amanda were absolutely amazing. Telling me exactly what was happening as they did it, reassured me and told me I was doing great and would update me on how long was left etc. I then felt a bit weird when I sat up because of how worked up I had gotten myself and they were nothing but caring. They got me some water and told me I'm very welcome to sit in the reception and take as long as I need. It also only took about 20 mins and my tooth feels miles better. And hopefully now I've helped myself feel less scared of the dentist Thank you everyone

Positive experience: Feeling disappointed- been a loyal customer since I was child, gone to every appointment. Been told I need some composite bonding on my canines, not a problem at all. I was told over the phone very clearly by Sue that it was £100. I wrote down the price on my phone while she told me this over the phone so it wasn’t made up. I had my appointment and was charged £200! After saying to the receptionist I was told it was £100 numerous times nothing was done about it and was simply told I was wrong with a very slight apology. I feel completely ripped off and disgusted how nothing could’ve been done about this, it’s really put me off this dentist now unfortunately after coming for over 10 years. If it was a miscommunication over the phone from Sue then please please understand that money is a very important topic for customers, for me included, as we all work hard for money and to be dropped last minute that your being charged double than what you are prepared for with no sympathy is really not okay !!! Edit- since this issue occurred, the team has been very helpful and apologetic, offering me a refund for the inconvenience, and I deeply appreciate the big apology given over the phone.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at the Bridge Street Dental Surgery for many years and I am absolutely delighted at the care I get from Robert, Nicola and their staff. Robert is a highly accomplished dentist, so I have no doubts about the extremely high quality of the dental care and advice, but he is also pleasant, warm and engaging. The surgery is run very efficiently and the arrangement of appointments is always easy. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Positive experience: A very lovely welcoming team of receptionists and dental practitioners, with reminders and appointment confirmation and periodic wellness calls. Overall a lovely place, pricey, but its private dental care so to be expected.

Fantastic experience: I first came to Bridge Street as a very nervous patient, having not been to the dentist for several years. Thanks to the excellent care and patience from the entire team, I no longer fear regular check ups. My whole family are now Bridge Street patients - including my 3 year old, who is always proud to show off her shiny teeth! This really is the team which goes the extra mile to look after everyone it serves. Highly, highly recommend.

This week they excelled themselves, I needed a lost filling replacing quickly (due to go away for a few weeks and needed doing beforehand) and despite being extremely busy they fitted me in within 24 hours and completed the job. Fantastic experience: I was away on holiday in the area and developed a pretty bad toothache. Bridge Street Dental were the only one in the area willing to see me and they managed to fit me in the same day. Fantastic experience: It was easy to book an appointment. The staff were friendly when i arrived. I was listened to what the issue was i was having. Any questions I asked were answered. The procedure was done correctly, I was checked on throughout to make sure I was ok. I received a courtesy call a couple of days after to check that everything was ok still.

Fantastic experience: Excellent quality care. I moved over to Bridge Street 9 months ago during which time I’ve benefitted from high quality advice, professional and personal care. Reception staff are attentive and always follow up appointments. Hygienist is very knowledgeable (and gentle). There are a number of dentists here, Zara looks after my teeth and I’m always happy with the outcome. Since working with Zara my teeth are less sensitive, cleaner and more recently, whiter than they were before. She is also incredibly personable which makes dental work a lot less intimidating. I highly recommend Bridge Street Dental.

Fantastic experience: I referred myself to Bridge Street Dental for some specialist root canal treatment and I cannot recommend this dentist enough! From the beginning, Nicola was always on-hand to answer any queries or concerns I had. Her friendliness and helpfulness were very much appreciated. The dental practice itself is also very warm and welcoming with friendly staff. Rob and his team provided an exemplary service during my treatment, ensuring that my mind was put at ease throughout. As someone who suffers with dentist anxiety, I was slightly nervous at first, however Rob was patient with me, talked me through everything so I had an understanding of what was happening, and guided me the whole way. This level of care was outstanding and hugely appreciated. The excellent service continues with a post-treatment courtesy call to see if everything's okay, giving you the opportunity to discuss any issues. Overall, I felt very comfortable in Rob's care and I would not hesitate in recommending Bridge Street Dental to others. I certainly will be back should I need specialist treatment again. After chipping my front tooth the night before, I was able to get an appointment with Bridge Street for the next day, amazing service and for a great price. Fantastic experience: Our entire family has been with Rob and the team for well over a decade. The service is brilliant and all the staff are friendly and helpful. Our eldest is disabled and in a wheelchair, and the practice has an accessible groundfloor surgery, which is perfect. This year I had gum surgery (I had deep gum pockets), and I really wish I'd listened to Rob and had it done sooner instead of putting off. Maria did a great job, and my teeth and gums are the best they've been for many years. Thank you Rob, Nicola, Maria and the entire team.

Fantastic experience: I had an extraction done yesterday with Maria. I've never had a tooth removed before, so as you can imagine I was nervous. Both Maria and Rosie totally put me at ease, and I didn't feel a thing. I was kept very well informed throughout the entire procedure, and knew exactly what was going on. Fantastic experience: Bridge Street Dental Surgery have a very helpful and professional team. The process from making the booking right up to the appointment is straightforward. Sue and Lucy on reception are very helpful and efficient in managing the bookings. Appointments are made well in advance, with text confirmations and reminder calls a few days before the appointment. Notification of further treatment costs at the point of booking the appointment is extremely helpful. Sue and Lucy have been very accommodating in the past when a problem has occurred and I'm unable to make an booked appointment. Robert, the Dentist shows professionalism on every visit. Robert is very friendly and engages in conversation from the moment you are called from the waiting area. Robert will explain the outcome of every check up and explain any further work needed. A brilliant surgery, and for that I wouldn't go anywhere else for my dental care.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been attending Bridge St Dental Practice in Tadcaster for around 10 years. All the team without exception from the dentist to the dental nurses and reception staff are very friendly and efficient. Robert the dentist who has dealt with my dental issues since l joined the practice is extremely professional and a first class clinician. l have always felt very much at ease with whatever treatment lm having. Robert is extremely personable and friendly, we often have a chat about things other than ‘teeth’ related. I travel quite a distance to attend appointments, almost 50 miles and taking up to an hour, sometimes even longer. But l think when you find a dentists practice of the calibre of Bridge St Dental Practice Tadcaster, it’s well worth the journey and the time taken. Hopefully l shall continue to be a patient there as long as l can.

Fantastic experience: I am at the extreme end of anxiety when it comes to dentists, but I actually don't mind going to see Robert or Maria for treatment. They are incredibly understanding of my phobias and let me take a minute to settle myself and if my anxiety attacks happen I'm given the space and time to calm down. It means a lot. I still get scared sometimes but they allow me the opportunity to work through it. Maria is so gentle, knowledgeable and always the most cheerful, joyous person in the world. A smile can say a thousand words and she is very reassuring. Robert is calm and steady too and loves new kit, tech and latest information to deliver cutting edge treatment. He always seems to be learning new things to help his patients. I also can't thank Nicola enough for her help and support with a recent front tooth implant done elsewhere, as at the time this wasn't offered at Bridge Street. Her understanding and kindness and ability to sort problems out has been amazing. Well done team.

Fantastic experience: I had my wisdom tooth extracted and was dreading it as I have heard horror stories also it was the first time I had local anaesthetic so wasn’t asleep for the first time in 72 years!! I can’t praise the team enough they were all so kind and considerate. Although my mouth was sore and swollen for 4 days it was no way as painful as I had expected. The ibuprofen and paracetamol kept the pain under control which was a bonus as I like my food! I can honestly say the whole experience was not anyway as bad as I expected and I can assure anyone that is nervous about going to the dentist the whole team are absolute gems!! Fantastic experience: I attended the Tadcaster Bridge Street surgery to see the Hygienist yesterday. My appointment was at 1pm and I was in the chair being treated on time, The two young ladies attending me, were very pleasant and friendly. The treatment was conducted very professionally and in a thorough and efficient way. My teeth had been a little discoloured and were in need of attention. They now look whiter and feel much better. The experience of visiting the practice was a good one. My previous dental practice could learn a lot from these people!

Fantastic experience: I wish this practice had been available to me years ago. Excellence in dental care and treatment alongside efficient dental assistants that are extremely well served by organised and friendly receptionists. A brilliant team all round.

Fantastic experience: I am of that age when all my old silver fillings are starting to need replacing. I hadn't had the need for an injection for a good number of years and was a little apprehensive, however, the surface cream worked a treat before the jab. My tooth was wrapped gently in a rubber blanket and the painless procedure began to replace my old, crumbly silver tooth into a tooth coloured one. Rob and his amazing nurse Rosie looked after me superbly. I have recommended lots of friends and family to Rob and the team so you better be quick to get an appointment before they fill up ... get it? ... fill up ;) Thanks guys

Fantastic experience: To say that my teeth have been problematic over the last few months would be an understatement. I have had several emergencies and have always been able to be seen the same day. The treatment I have received has been excellent - I am a nervous patient and have always been treated with care and respect. I would highly recommend Bridge Street Dental Surgery for any dental needs.

Fantastic experience: I'm not going to say much, because I haven't had anything done yet. Unfortunately there's a lot to do. I saw Zara, and what I will say is that I felt very comfortable with her. Like so many people I am frightened to death of dentists, but Zara's attitude, Nicky's attitude and the attitude of all staff there was beautifully calm and sympathetic. So, no matter what your circumstances are, if you are frightened of dentists in particular, make an appointment with Zara, you'll be fine with her. Hello, this is two months later: Zara is magic. I just resigned myself to it all as I knew I would be in real trouble if I didn't have some work done now, but it wasn't my imagination, Zara really does have a massively calming effect on me. I've had a lot of work done already, two extractions, four fillings and a complete clean up......I don't know how I'm saying this but, I almost enjoyed it!! I think Zara achieves this by being fun and light hearted the whole time, but at the same time she is superbly calm, confident and professional. This combination works like magic with me, it really does. Listen up dentists, you lot can be pretty aggressive with that damn pokey stick you use! Yank, pull! Having sensitive teeth I wince and shrink away whether it hurts or not. Not Zara though, she is, by a long way, the most gentle dentist I have ever been treated by: that impressed me immediately, because that's the first thing they do, get their little pokey stick and start poking around. As well as chatting to the dental nurse, usually funny, which distracts me from the whole process, at the same time she tells me exactly what is happening, "That decay's gone already!" Never have I been for dental treatment and have been actually giggling through it before Zara. As an ex heavy smoker I have a lot of awful brown staining to remove. I've had hygienists go on the attack before, and yes it does clean them a bit, but there's only so much they can do. With the onset of gum disease this treatment was urgent for me. With the latest appointment I was as calm as a calm sea. Zara seemed quite surprised, as if to say, "Why are you so calm with it all suddenly?" It's you Zara, that is the magic I referred to earlier! When I got home though, having sat down for a bit, tea through a straw, it suddenly occurred to me to have a look in the mirror to see if I could tell what she'd done. I couldn't believe what I saw! I was beyond delighted, because I never thought my awful teeth could ever look like that again. Absolutely superb. If you need to see a dentist and you are nervous about it, I sincerely hope this helps you to get yourself in there. See Zara. If your children need dental help, see Zara. This is probably one of the best things ever to happen to me and it is a massive relief. I sincerely thank all staff at Bridge Street for the most outstanding level of care, the kind of care that is well worth paying for, the kind of care you will never find with the NHS.

The Bridge Street Sugery provides the best care I've ever had - highly skillful, really careful, technically advanced and very thorough. Fantastic experience: I have always had an irrational fear of dentists , sometimes resulting in me getting out of the chair mid-treatment. Since becoming a patient at Bridge Street all of these fears are now gone. I cannot recommend them enough, Ive been a patient for nearly 10 years now and I genuinely look forward to a visit there. At every level their staff excel; from Sue in reception to both Jo and Robert the dentists and Kelly the hygienist they are exceptional. The whole team managed by Nicola are amazing. I have since recommended them to family , friends and employees as they are simply the best. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else my teeth have never been in better shape. My latest treatment involved an injection something that would have normally given me anxiety for days , but Jo was gentle (literally didnt feel a thing) and was back to normal within a short time. Restored my faith in the dental practices, they are the greatest !

Fantastic experience: These people are the best. From the staff on Reception to all the team, the care is truly outstanding. I've just had root canal treatment with Rob which was honestly painless. I needn't had worried. Rob specialises in this area and it shows. I took me a long time to decide to transition from my NHS dentist to this practice. So glad I did. Very pleased!

Fantastic experience: Excellent treatment from Rob who was delighted with the result of the root canal work final x-ray. Full explanation given throughout. Also Nicola (Practice Manager) who personally collected my CBCT scan held by a dentist in York so that Rob would have it in time for my treatment. A lovely practice where the staff go beyond the call of duty.

Positive experience: I came for a check up yesterday and was disappointed to find out that Jo my usual dentist was no longer at the practice. Nothing was mentioned to me and I had to ask before I left why I had seen someone else. I didn't feel as comfortable with the new dental practitioner. So in the future I will be asking to see Robert if that is possible.

Fantastic experience: Robert and his team are honestly the best. The quality of their care can’t be faulted. Sue on reception is always friendly and welcoming. I am amazed at what Robert can do to solve whatever problems my teeth present him with! He explains everything fully, x-rays, scans and treatments all done in a really caring environment. Thanks to the dental nurse today for her kindness and care. I’ve been going to Bridge Street Dental for many years and wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: A warm welcome, as always from Sue and a cuppa, as I was early. Seen by Dentist Maria, very friendly and talkative, so I knew what she was going to do. Kept checking during the examination I was ok, showed a very caring attitude. No complaints.

Fantastic experience: I attended the practice today for my dental checkup, the receptionist was extremely helpful and made booking future appointments easy. Zara and her nurse were lovely and ensured I was comfortable throughout my checkup. The practice offers a monthly plan which helps spread the cost of my checkups and you get some great benefits included too! Very pleased I’m with such a caring, helpful dentist

The staff are super friendly and welcoming, the practitioner walks you through everything you leave feeling like you’ve had a great experience (not usually the case at the dentist haha!)
