Fantastic experience: 1st time patient, Got a Next day emergency appointment, greeted by lovely staff as I arrived, My dentist and assistant were really professional and made me feel at ease, absolutely fantastic treatment and couldn't believe how little it cost. The last dentist I visited , charged me over quadruple the cost for the exactly same treatment. I never post reviews, but felt I had to because I was so pleased with the whole experience.

I remember my dentist visits in the 1940s and 50s with horror, which obviously made me very fearful. Marie Louise knows how I feel and treats me amazingly. Fantastic experience: Hadn’t been the dentist for 8 years and was so anxious about going . From the receptionist to the dental nurse and Jack the dentist they were all exceptional , couldn’t fault any of them. They clearly outlined what they found and visually demonstrated with X-rays there solutions , both before and after treatment. I entered the practise a nervous wreck and left very reassured with an action plan moving forward to bring my teeth and oral hygiene back to a good standard. I cannot rate them ALL highly enough for their care and attention. Thank you so much John

Fantastic experience: I was a very,very nervous patient regards any dental work. After meeting Dr Syal I can honestly say he is the most understanding, sympathetic and gentle dentist I've ever met. I would highly recommend Duthie for the most nervous patient. And to top it all this practice is like a 5 star Spar in its surroundings.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been at duthie dental since I was a child and they’ve always been brilliant. My dentist, Tilly, is absolutely lovely and is always so thorough and takes time to explain my check up to me.

I no longer dread going to the dentist and Dr Syal is amazing at putting you at ease and explaining everything and genuinely cares about your experience. The hygienist is brilliant too providing guidance and information.

They make a visit to the dentist a pleasant experience (which is something I never thought I would ever write after some bad experiences at another practice). Fantastic experience: Had a bit of a tooth break off. I was worried the tooth was now very fragile. I got an appointment the next day (because someone had cancelled). The appointment was on time and I was out in 20 mins with the problem fixed. What more can you ask for?

Fantastic experience: I attended the surgery today and saw Jane McMillin, dental hygienist, assisted by Chloe. As always, Jane was very thorough and explained what she was doing and why she was doing it. I was made very aware of which teeth needed special care and how to look after them. A thorough clean and polish and I left feeling very satisfied

Fantastic experience: I asked for an emergency appointment and received one for the same morning. And, excellent treatment.

Fantastic experience: Having had a slight accident I damaged a tooth. I rang the surgery at 4pm with the view to making an appointment. The receptionist spoke with my designated dental surgeon & I was asked if I could attend the practice at 4:30. Having got there I was seen within 10 mins. Emergency treatment was dispensed to tied me over & a re-appointed made for Monday following the weekend. This is an excellent practice dispensing first class service & treatment for its patients. Fantastic experience: Just wanted to thank the team at Duthie Dental for their care and professionalism during my recent appointment. I had my regular check up with the hygienist and with Jack Duthie the Dentist and I valued the relaxed atmosphere and consideration for my needs. In particular I would like to thank Jack for dealing with my anxiety when an x-ray was needed. For many this is a straightforward procedure but I have a ‘gag-reflex’ and so find some procedures stressful. Jack realised this and helped me to relax and cope with the situation. I believe that many of the staff are now trained in relaxation techniques and it indicates their willingness to consider patient needs. Thanks once again for your care and thoroughly recommend this practice to others.

Positive experience: Thought £95 to re glue a crown tooth back was very expensive, took less than 10 minutes from arrival-re fit—pay&go. The staff are really nice and professional but the charges are not fair .

Dealt with in seconds and appointment within 3 hours Everything was explained to me and despite a complicated extraction, I was dealt with compassion, care and empathy throughout. Post extraction procedures all given in writing and verbally described. Excellent treatment ( albeit sore) highly recommended
