Positive experience: My hygienist was very friendly and very thorough. I was slightly disappointed my teeth weren’t polished but because my gums were bleeding following the clean it couldn’t be done.

Fantastic experience: I’m severely disabled and use a mobility scooter/wheelchair.i view great service in a very different way to most people as I have far more requirements. I am pleased to say that I have always received great customer service at wickford dental practice. Ladies on reception always greet with a smile and are very helpful and knowledgeable. They also offer any additional help I may require. My dentist and assistant are superb. Friendly, chatty and helpful. I suffer vertigo as one of my conditions and my dentist made sure to raise and lower the chair slowly so as not to trigger it. Let’s admit it. Everybody dreads to visit the dentist but the staff here make it a very pleasant experience. I want to say thank you to everybody involved with my dental care at wickford dental practice for taking my needs into consideration and going above and beyond all expectations. Very highly recommended

To top it off an amazing gift/donation for me and my dog (as we are going through very tough times)?dog food, treats and food for me! 10/10

Negative experience: You get what you pay for. It's cheap but not good. I took my 2 young children for a check up. They have lots of messages around about us not being late, yet they were 30 minutes late calling us in and there was not even a curtesy 'sorry for delay'. The doctor gave me attitude asking what I wanted from her and went on to say they are busy. Our appointment for me and my 2 children took them 10 minutes - the doctor very briefly looked at our teeth and sent us home. I am sure they are knowledgeable but I didn't get to see any skill during my visit - I will not be coming back.

When I made my next 6 month appointment was disappointed to learn that she would be on her maternity leave,. these were my selfish feelings as I am thrilled for her. Fantastic experience: After my last review about the dentures not fitting correctly I returned to the dental surgery and after telling them I was not satisfied they moved me to a new dentist. My New Dentist “Dr Jasmine Pannu “ is a true professional, nothing fazes her in the treatment she gives to you, always has a very friendly smile and explains to you exactly what she is going to do in her treatment, that puts you at ease, and she has the patients of a saint. She is a great credit to this surgery , I only wish she had been my dentist when I was a younger person, in my younger days the “1960 era” all they did was pull the teeth out, I must say treatment has changed dramatically for the better, as a result we now have dentist that care about the patient just like Jasmine. The whole package is in this surgery from the reception staff to the dentist are excellent.

Negative experience: I am nervous about dentists and made the dentist and nurse aware of this. The whole visit was rushed, I was made to feel nothing but a huge inconvenience. I was given very little information about the treatment I needed and when I asked for more information about fillings all I was told was what colour they would be. As someone who has never had one I was more concerned about what would actually happen during the procedure. I left feeling more nervous than I was before and I won't be returning.

Fantastic experience: This is the only dentist I've visited where you are made to feel at ease. I've let my teeth get in a pretty bad state due to being petrified of dentists for many years but the dental surgeons here are really very understanding. Even the dental assistants are lovely. Especially a young girl with quite a few tattoos on her arms. She makes you laugh and talks to you as if you've known her for years. That really does help with the nervousness.

Fantastic experience: I have been using this practice for over 20 years and always had great service. I recently had an emergency and was assisted so swiftly and all additional follow up work needed was done very quickly. I have retired to Suffolk now but happy to do the 120 mile round trip as the quality of service is exceptional.

He explained in great detail what he was doing and the condition of my teeth, very friendly and professional. Likewise his assistant very efficient and friendly. Reception staff helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Have been using this practice for quite a time now and no have hesitation in recommending it.

Positive experience: Very friendly and welcoming reception staff. Dentist and her assistant were lovely. Didn’t feel that I had much of a check up though. There wasn’t the usual dental information taking. For the cost of a check up I would have thought it to more thorough. Did have a different dentist to usual so maybe that’s just the way she works.

Negative experience: I was told to leave after my first appointment while signing forms and when I rebooked my appointment for over a month later while in serious pain and infection from my wisdom tooth and it has been cancelled without explanation with 1 day notice. The front desk were very rude and took the tablet out of my hand while I was updating my information and address. If I could give zero stars I would.

Fantastic experience: 30+ years of being a patient here tells it's own story. From a small converted house at the start, it is now a fully extended, modern dentistry centre. The reception staff are always pleasant and courteous, which must be trying at times when more than a couple of patients turn up together, along with those re-booking after their appointment. (I just wished they didn't have to get payment 'up front' as it makes it feel the patient is untrustworthy, even after all the years of attending. I do understand why though). Sundari has the misfortune to have me as her patient, with my fear of needles and nervous jokes about looking forward to each visit. She has such a pleasant nature that you feel relaxed in her chair, even when the dental weapons of choice are wielded. She always informs you of what she is about to inflict on your mouth before she does so, takes her time and is ready to stop at the slightest furrow of my brow. I would never say I look forward to a visit to the dentist, but I don't put it off or fear it any more, well done team!

Special mention to Hayley - I called to cancel an appointment and broke down on phone (I am going through a lot in my life) I ended the call. A few hours later I had a random call from dentist and it was Hayley just calling to see if I was okay due to me breaking down on phone earlier. This really meant a lot as felt like I wasn’t just a patient and my wellbeing was actually thought of. My dentist is also extremely good. So welcoming and put my anxiety first making sure I was comfortable at all times I would recommend this surgery to anyone. I'm quite a nervous patient and had to have two root canals - I never felt judged for not going for a while, I was made to feel super comfortable and kept informed so I could prepare myself for each step. Its friendly staff, will always fit you in if you have an emergency i had a bad tooth ache in one case which was an abscess and I was seen that day. My dentist I see is brilliant, she's kind caring and explains everything in detail to me about my treatment I'm having each time I see her .10/10

Again, polite, friendly, kind, shows you photos of your teeth and why he is suggesting certain treatments. Hygienist also kind, polite and very friendly with advise to help look after your teeth. Fantastic experience: Such an amazing dentist - from the team at the front desks to the dentist themselves. Absolute first class treatment. My son has autism so going to the dentist has always been a challenge and stressful for him. He recently had to have treatment, the patience and understanding shown by his dentist and dental nurse made me a little emotional at the time (it wasn't easy getting the treatment done) - having people be so understanding unfortunately is something that isn't always our experience - today we had to go back as my son had been struggling with the sensation of the filing his mouth and had actually chipped it. Again, we were only there for a check up but the dentist was so reassuring and actually fixed the issue there and then, the relief in my son in the moment made my Christmas and his - I am so grateful. Having a dentist who can understand the differences he has and does everything possible to make him comfortable, listen to him, go at his pace is incredible. Thank you all.
