Fantastic experience: I have a fear of dentists, but they're always warm and welcoming here. I went this morning for a checkup, and ended up needing a filling. While I was there, I also have my teeth polished. Everything was explained, everything was quick and easy.

Negative experience: Very clean dentist with polite staff, but refused to take a tooth out that was broken near the nerve due to it being an emergency appointment and would not give any antibiotics for a server infection and would not prescribe pain relief even though they had a duty of care

Once again I was seen and had finished my appointment, BEFORE my appointment time even arrived! ---- Recently my assistance hound tried my dentures on for size; she didn't like the fit so chewed them up... Jacqueline sorted out the impressions for a replacement on the first visit today (I only rang yesterday!); new dentures are in progress! Wonderful professional prompt service. Highly recommended. ----- Sally assistance hound and I made welcome here, always! Wonderful friendly professional service. Asa my dentist retired; I didn't loose out though, and was transferred to Jacqueline (and Kelsey) who turned out to be friendly, professional, kept me well informed and listened to everything I had to say. The Northfield Dental Practice is open on weekends and bank holidays too. If you can get through on the phone early enough, they have emergency appointments available everyday. Parking can be an issue if you are a driver. (Park in the Newland Centre carpark and walk over?)

Fantastic experience: I was seen yesterday (Sunday!) as an emergency this is my second visit as an emergency and I'm so impressed by the compassion and empathy I have been given on both occasions. Unfortunately they don't have NHS spots but because of their care I've decided to sign up as a private patient to sort my problem tooth. Everyone from the receptionist to the dentist's have been brilliant and hopefully going forward I'll be able to sign up the the NHS list.

Negative experience: Struck me off years ago as I was with orthodontists in Northampton. Managed to re sign up online with all forms going through only to receive a message from them cancelling my appointment

Fantastic experience: Although I had to wait 3 days for an emergency appointment (because I was not officially registered with them), they did their best to fit me in a soon as they could. Once there, reception lady was really nice and understanding of my predicament. The dental assistant too. The Dentist herself was very professional, gave me 3 treatment options and allowed me to take the one I felt most relevant to my circumstances. My wife is already registered with them, so it was an easy choice to make, as she too has experienced the same level of treatment. It's not often you visit a dentists full of laughter, but that's how it was for me today.

Negative experience: Went in for a routine check and clean, service from the dentist was sufficient but the dental nurse was awful! Acting as though she was doing me a favour by doing her job. Purposefully soaked me during the clean and implied it’s a service that isn’t included! Extremely young and clearly doesn’t have any work ethic yet!

Fantastic experience: Used this dentist for an emergency appointment as I had really bad pain from toothache. Seen me and checked there was no infection and I didn't need any antibiotics. Great service and quickly sorted. Dentist team great and reception team also fantastic!

Fantastic experience: Update 7th April 25 I have never been disappointed. Usual high standard of care and understanding. Update 26th April 24. Once again fantastic service. I was offered a cancellation for an almost immediate appointment. Naturally I accepted it . The staff were lovely and the dentist was once again fantastic. I cannot fault the total great attitude of this practice. Update Nov. 14th 23. My thanks go to the receptionist that was understanding my plight and did her best to find me an urgent appointment... Not an emergency as no pain. I still find this practice friendly and helpful and my dentist is lovely. Polite and friendly front desk staff . Dentist had a calming effect which came as a welcome to me. Very nervous patient!!!! She was very helpful and explained everything. I recommend this practice

Negative experience: Offers NHS appointments but then cancel call you to book in for same time, same dentist but private… I would have just paid the extra if wasn’t done so dishonest. Rather pay private else where seems like a scam.

Fantastic experience: Had a problem with my bridge coming out after a fall was seen the same day, excellent job.

Negative experience: There website has a bunch of slots available for new NHS members that you can book but they then cancel it before the appointment and tell you that have no slots available despite hosting them on the website. Seems like a way to try and snake private members. Probably avoid if you have other choices as seems a little scammy.

Mo is very gentle and patient super trendy he always looks fabulous and has the most beautiful chair side manner and a lovely smile! He has restored my faith in Dentistry.... I've been terrified since I was little so a nice understanding dentist is essential! He's fantastic and nothing at all like a dentist he tells you what is going on while he's doing it so high five from me !! Ps the receptionist especially Jane super too !m

Fantastic experience: I am a very anxious person when it comes to dentist, i need a chaperone to keep me calm and make sure i go in. I had a treatment (extractions) appointment with Shameem who explained everything so I understood what to expect in detail, Shameem rubbed, what can only be described as magic on my gums around the area, this made the injections for anesthetic almost painless! Reducing my anxiety even more. Shameem then explained again what she was going to do, checking i was ok, she continued with extractions whilst I was feeling quite calm. The experience for me was hugely successful, I came away with minimal anxiety and feeling ok about returning for further treatment with Shameem .

Fantastic experience: I am a very nervous patient. I had to have a tooth out. My tooth had a large root. It was difficult for my dentist but she was reassuring and gentle, she asked a colleague to help and it came out. I was pleased with the support and reassurance I was given

Negative experience: Today I rushed around and got up early on my day off to get to the Kettering practice for 8.40am as the traffic is always appalling. I arrived 5 minutes early whilst sitting waiting for 20 minutes my dentist strolled in, still in her coat with handbag in hand! Another 10 minutes passed whilst she prepared herself so all in all 35 minures late...this is very bad practice, if I had been 35 minutes late I would of been turned away or made to pay. Not even a sorry when I sad down, she then spent all of 15 minutes on my teeth and told me I needed a small filling at the base of a tooth but didn't have time to do it. So I had to make another appointment on another day off and make the same journey. The her practice room floor needed a deep clean too and a li cc knife paint. Over all bad service
