Fantastic experience: Was refered to this dentist through 111 was nervous at my first appointment as I have dental anxiety, they gave me a few suggestions and I spoke with a lovely receptionist who suggested my next appointment to help me gain confidence I attended that appointment today and the assistant to the dentist I saw put me at great ease and made me feel so comfortable. The staff at this dentist are so welcoming and friendly would recommend them to anyone

Negative experience: This is the worse day of my life... I came with high hopes of getting rid of a 3 year long pain from my tooth and got a rude dentist that for no reason had a negative attitude towards me, I really don't understand why? Is it because I wear the hijab or my dad couldn't understand English and he took advantage, I sat and wanted to talk about the pain that I had and I was met with his disliking tone, he had no patience and rushed me to answer, he didn't let me tell me what was wrong but gave me options on what was wrong which could help someone to talk about it but I already have known what to say as I have been preparing for 6 months but he left me with no choice, he kept the rude tone and stubbornness with me even when I clearly said it was a hole in my tooth not the gap between ny teeth! But he didn't listen and then said 'if your not satisfied then change to a different dentist' and I did but was meet with a rude reception who even laughed at my face when I clearly told her that I was dissatisfied with him because he didn't help at all and she even replied with 'well he is the dentist and your not. ' ? But it's my body and I know where the pain is and a simple floss tool would not help at all! I'm crying right now because I have waited months to help me with the pain but was greated like this.... I had wented to cry on the spot when I was in the room with the dentist because I didn't believe what I was hearing but tried to keep it strong for my dad but then the reception made it even worse and after 4 hours I am still heartbroken... He could have listened to me and ended my pain but instead went against me and Reminder he said I should change the dentist if I was dissatisfied so he knew his attitude but still kept his tone with me!

Negative experience: Hate it with all my heart! The dentist didn't even check probably and just made a decision on his opinion on my own pain??

Negative experience: Sooo rude I was in intensive care on life support and I should have rang them how can you ring someone that is in a coma

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient with Normanton Family Dental Centre for nearly 20 years and get great service. Today I rang for dental support and assistance and spoke to a positively polite, hugely helpful, super supportive, perfectly professional and absolutely amazing member of staff Rimshah. In today's demanding environment she was brilliant and it's refreshing to see such customer service. Thank you Rimshah, keep doing what you do, and to the management, please thank and recognise Rimshah for being the star she is.

Fantastic experience: After ringing 111 I was referred to the normanton dentist with unbearable and severe pain in my tooth, the lovely rimshah booked me in asap, and I was seen in under an hour. I was seen by doctor jamal who was very quick with his treatment, knew exactly what he was doing. I would definitely recommend, thankyou rimshah x

Fantastic experience: I was In pain with my lower Bottom Molar Tooth, I Have not got a dentist and I called up for advice after following advice from 111. I had spoken to A Nurse Rimsha who had helped me and informed me of what I should do with pain management and What to avoid after my treatment. Normanton Dental Helped me with my toothache and The dentist was very helpful and caring. Would definitely recommend

Negative experience: Waited an hour past my scheduled appointment! The dentist was very direct and not compasionate at all! Very obstructive from entering this dentist to leaving! Did not receive what I attended for due to the above. Left me with no confidence in the dentist, reception and the NHS!

Fantastic experience: Before arriving at the dentist, I was very nervous due to previously negative experiences at NHS dentists however, Dr Marcin Cajdler was welcoming, reassuring and extracted my tooth without causing me any pain or discomfort. This was a first and so is this review, he deserves the respect and warmth he is honoured with in that building. I am aware that there has been some negativity towards the reception team but I advise others to go off their own experiences. The staff were reserved which can be misunderstood but when you engage in more conversations with them, they are very polite, respectful and offer the right advice. Great experience for me, so much so I would be happy to return.

The staff are very helpful and dentist was great she did an Xray..and checked my teeth over and found the problem tooth.. afrer I have finished antibiotics I will have my tooth out , very satisfied with the service I recieved..

Negative experience: Suffering from extreme pain, i contacted 111 for advice. They referred me directly to Normanton dental practice, i was told i would be called back by them straight away and an appointment booked within 24 hours due to the severity of the situation and the swelling causing difficulties. I never received a call or an appointment, i have just been left suffering. Absolutely ridiculous.

Positive experience: Been coming here for a good fifteen year and the last two dentists I've had here have been wonderful, very caring and gentle. Reception are nice too. But there always seems to be something broken or not working or run out and you often can be delayed getting seen to even first thing appointments and when turning up ten minutes early, Overall though, it's a decent dental practise and again, it's the staff that make it

Negative experience: My last three visits have been consistently negative. Most recently, I attended yesterday for emergency 111 treatment but received no care and have been left in extreme pain. The staff consistently displayed a lack of understanding and were very rude.Ive been left no choice but to go private. Formal complaint to nhs has been made

Negative experience: I'm so dissapointed, The receptionist at this place are so rude and unprofessional. Part from one lady with has braces on . I was called today for an emergency appointment coz I was in so much pain day i went in for my usual check up and XRay. Im really in pain with my tooth. Lady who called me to book me in this morning did not mention of me coming in early or if I'm 5min late my appointment will be cancelled yet I stated I will be picking my son from school. I was 5min late the receptionist she was so rude busy telling me about there policey like they ever gave me that policey to read. I just thought it was so unfair of them and very inconsiderate fact that I'm in so much pain I need to get my tooth removed. Please train your girls to be polite and inform clients of anything that needs to be known of day of appointments

Negative experience: If I could of give NO star I would of do so I wouldn't recommend NORMANTON FAMILY dental service because of A STAFF member (Devena). I spoke to her on my day of cancellation as I had and emergency on work. I call to ask if I could be a little late, she told me if you don't attend my appointment, she would remove me from the system. I'm on a 6 months programme to clean and fix my teeth but because I couldn't attend this appointment on 29/4/25, Devena (The Manager) spoke to me with a bad attitude and decided to unregister. As a manager, sh is very unprofessional. I'm a support worker and I don't ask for emergencies to happen with my clients, if I had known I would have had an emergency on work I would of followed the dental procedures which is calling 24 hours before to cancel my appointment. I would never recommend NORMANTON FAMILY dentist to anyone. Very very unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: i've got to say this dentist practice is one of the cleanest i've seen. even the waiting room has very comfortable chairs. And a special thanks go's to Dr anisa ail and the team for looking after me in a very professional manner.

Fantastic experience: After calling 111 for my son we were referred here for an emergency appointment. The surgery called me back within 2 hours and gave him an appointment for a few hours later. My son suffers from severe anxiety but from the moment we walked in we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist and then the dentist and her assistant who were very reassuring and explained everything to us made the whole experience so much easier. Amazing kindness and care thank you so much.

Negative experience: A very disrespectful girls who are on reception disk and they have no manners and don’t know nothing about customer service, their manager should speak to them about customer service and respect. They were using bad language to my babies and their mom they kick them out from the centre, because they know they can do whatever they want there’s no one on top up them to make them understand. This place should be closed or they should remove this disrespectful girls who don’t know how to deal with people

Fantastic experience: After phoning 111 and them sending a referral through on a Saturday morning, the dentist rang me and offered me their next available appointment (same day Saturday) when I got there the receptionists were lovely and helpful. The dentist and nurse were reassuring, helpful and thorough. I had to have a tooth extraction but it was quick and they were very patient with me. All round amazing service!

Fantastic experience: Struggled to get an emergency appointment with my own nhs dentist, so was referred to 7 Dental through 111. Dentist was really friendly and helpful, saw me promptly and gave good advice.

Fantastic experience: My dentist Marcin Cajdler was very good I had my tooth root removed and he was very gentle with me he was asking me all the time If I was OK if and if he would like him to continue very fast work very nice man would recommend anyone to see him.i am feeling alot better now

Negative experience: Went up to the waiting area sat on a seat connected to a table and another seat and the whole thing collapsed! Reception staff told and no concern for me but came and took a photo of the seat! Not impressed

Fantastic experience: You don't have to wait months for appointment and they can get you in for emergency ones right away, which my other dentist couldn't do. I had tooth extraction yesterday the person who did it was very experienced and made me feel ok I suppose he said the injection would hurt... but it didn't so not sure if he was trying to get me to come back another time. Anyway good service overall.

Fantastic experience: After a 111 referral, I got seen on the same day and got prescribed antibiotics for a severe infection causing me unimaginable pain, I required surgical treatment and a extraction i did have to wait a month but after going today to receive treatment the staff and dentist and assistant where very good understanding and reassuring.... Fantastic experience: I am a very nervous patient to go to the dentist but today I went to see Dr Anissa Ali she was absolutely amazing talking to me all the time telling me what she was doing I had a bridge what had broken in my gum I was told by a different dental practice I would need to go to a specialist dentist in Sheffield I got in touch with 111 they sent me to normanton road dentist that’s where I met Dr Anissa Ali and her nurse I can absolutely recommend them amazingly brilliant thank you very much

Fantastic experience: Excellent. I saw Doctor Nurudeen Adegbite . He was proffesional, skilled ,kind reasurring. Also the dental nurse Shazmana kind and caring and freindly. They make a great team. Negative experience: Absolutely awful experience. Came here to have wisdom tooth removed under sedation after being referred here by my current dentist. Ended up leaving in tears because of how rude the dentist was! Don't remember his name but I was shocked with how I was treated and spoke to from the moment I walked into the room! Avoid at all cost!

Fantastic experience: I had always feared going to the Dentist and put it off for years but after I got a tooth infection I finally registered and my dentist is Dr Anisa Ali. She is brilliant and puts me at ease with no judgement. The advice and the treatments I have received have helped me to improve my oral health significantly over the years. Negative experience: Please change the reception staff including the manager Sas very rude and abrupt when trying get and issue resolved prefer not to attend but no choice as the actual dentist is very good need to learn customer service skills let's the place down but brilliant at fixing teeth

Fantastic experience: Visited on Saturday evening due to extreme pain after visiting my dentist on Friday went to ANE who gave me lots of pain killers and antibiotics but said I needed a dentist As The pain killers were not touching the pain contracted 111 again and made me a referral to them and thank god they did the lady dentist I saw and her dental nurse showed me compassion as following Fridays blunder I was shaking she explained everything to me and I chose to have it removed as the pain was that serious I couldn’t take anymore drilling I no this lovely lady would use a numbing injection ( as my dentist didn’t ) but I was petrified So this is why I’m leaving this review and I’m calling on Monday to become one of there patients even though it’s a fair way to travel. On leaving I spoke to a lovely young lady on reception who was also so polite and professional Thank you for treating me with care (Sorry I couldn’t remember any names )

Negative experience: The one star is for the really friendly staff. Couldn’t give anymore as my dentist misread my exemption certificate resulting in me having to pay a huge penalty charge. Was told I was exempt from paying for my treatment , clearly this was not true. Was also told I should have checked the certificate myself. However the dentist assured me that I wouldn’t have to pay anything.

Negative experience: The dentists are very good, however the reception staff, & practise manager not helpful at all. I'm an extremely nervous patient, I had an appointment at 2pm,arrived at 1.45pm. By 3pm still had not been called or even advised the dentist was running late. Went to the counter to be told he's running a bit late, I said a bit is 15 20 min at most not over an hr. By this time I was having severe panic attacks. Only to be accused of being aggressive, when I was only enquiring as to why I wasn't called or informed. Obviously they don't value their extremely anxious & nervous patients. IF UR A NERVOUS PATIENT GO ELSEWHERE. THE RECEPTION STAFF DON'T CARE!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Despite a painful & face bulging abscess, my own dentist couldn't see me until late November! Rang 111 who arranged for a call back from Normanton FDC, who saw me the next morning. A great experience, from the efficient receptionist on arrival, through to the Dentist who swiftly prescribed antibiotics. Within 24hrs the relief was heaven. Thank you NFDC.

Fantastic experience: I had my wisdom tooth removed and it was a good experience. I wasn’t able to register as NHS but I was able to register privately and the appointment was less than a week later! Dr Mohamed Al-Sabahi was very professional and explained everything clearly. He made sure the area was numb and gave good aftercare instructions. I didn’t feel rushed and IF I was a nervous patient, luckily im not, his demeanour would put you at ease. It was £60 for assessment as a new patient and £200 for extraction - which was explained before proceeding and I was asked if that was ok, so I could’ve said no. My tooth was straightforward but if your tooth requires more intervention it could cost more. Would recommend!

Fantastic experience: Recently went in today for an emergency dental treatment the lady who was doimg the work was amazing and spoke to me with high respect and ensured me and told me what she was going to do shes worked wonder i do need to go back for more work but im happly to go back as iv booked another appointment today with them to receive more treatment for my tooth thats in dire need of attention, shes put a temporary filling in to last me till then which im more that pleased about as it should prevent further problems till then many thanks thank you so much Dr Duaa Hussain

Negative experience: The chairs were un comfy the waiting time was ages the upstairs was dirty smelly and moldy I fell up the stairs there that steep how are wheelchair users ment to get up here the staff are extremely rude and you can hear everything in the rooms and the doors are wide open (DO NOT RECOMMEND!!) (waste of time coming)

Fantastic experience: I was treated nice here by the dentist he was polite and understanding of my fears with dentists he let me wear my headphones during an emergency extraction. It was also very quick and near enough pain free during the extraction. I would recommend these for emergency dental care!.

Negative experience: Terrible dentist! No continuity of care. Two files on the same patient! Potentially damaged patients jaw!!! Caused massive swelling. Tried and failed to remove two teeth while patient had an infection, which then caused an abscess! And patient wasn't numb. Won't rectify the issues they have caused promptly combined with poor handling of patient care! Left weeks unable to eat or sleep! And as a full time carer patient can't do caring duties fully and on empty!

Positive experience: Had emergency tooth removal, didn't let me keep the tooth, nice and clean place lots of staff thinking they saw me on a Sunday so open all hours 24/7 NHS emergency dentist, I parked in Aldi seeing as I'll go for a quick shop while we're in the area.

Fantastic experience: I had my wisdom tooth removed 30 minutes ago. I was terrified and cannot commend the staff enough. Both the Dentist himself who was reassuring, proffesional and empathetic, and the dental nurse who guided me through each part of the procedure, both filled me with confidence and the procedure went far smoother than I could imagined. Equally the receptionists were helpful, attentive and accommodating. Great service

Fantastic experience: I have had a great experience with Seven (Normanton Road Family Dental Practice) this morning. I do not have an NHS Dentist and after calling 111 I was referred here. I had been seen a couple of weeks ago (again via 111) and the Dentist remembered me. I ended up having to have a Root Canal (unexpectedly) and I was very anxious and shaky. Both Dr Enas Elsharawi and Vilonta were kind, patient and compassionate to me. They took the time to explain what was happening and gave me extra anaesthesia due to long term pain issues. They didn’t rush me or make me feel like an inconvenience. I was due to see a Dentist at the end of September to have the same tooth removed but between the two of them they worked out when I could be seen sooner and it is only a few days away. Considering I am not an official patient (yet) the care and attention was second to none. Thank you Ladies, for Emergency Service you provide. Considering the long hours you work you do a great job and do so with smiles and kindness.

Negative experience: Everytime never on time waiting more than half hour after app time. No communication. But people that turn up 15min late cancel app and charge of paying only ok for the staff to be late with apps. Shouldn't book as many if can't fit them in on time. Only one toilet to the whole building and no baby changing. Very disappointing. Also they get them to change the babies nappies actually in a dentist room, that will be then used for patients.

Negative experience: If you don't see them for few months they will deregister you and you will have to register with them again.Find excuses to get the old patient out and add new ones who give them new business. Pathetic practice

Negative experience: Family member had treatment for very serious abscess, in excruciating pain.Was prescribed wrong anti biotics by the dentist here and ended up at emergency dept at Derby Royal after infection worsened 2 days later. Wouldn't use this practice again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Dr Marcin Cajdler was great. He made me feel at ease about my wisdom tooth extraction and took no time at all-very professional, thank you (The toilet is horrific though!!)

I want to thank the doctor for his attention to detail, a very educated and specialist in his field. I highly recommend it. and I thank the doctor for helping to save my tooth and correct my taste. Fantastic experience: I love this dentist. I especially like Dr Aneesa, everyone who knows me knows that I am scared of the dentist but this Dr always help me overcome. I still get scared but once i come in i know i am in safe hands. I do not even know what i can do without her.

Fantastic experience: Went two weeks ago with a horrible infection couldn't eat or drink, Dr Anisa and her colleague where brilliant gave me the best antibiotics and now feeling better, she made me feel extremely comfortable and gave me the best advice I'm now booked in to see the surgeon to have the tooth out, the dentist is clean and the receptionists are amazing and polite Thank you all for the hard work and dedication

Negative experience: Took my daughter in for what we had been told was a consultation about sedation. No consultation took place and sedation wasn't even mentioned. The dentist wanted to extract a tooth then and there and got agitated when my daughter started crying due to fear. No compassion was shown just annoyance that she wouldn't comply with the extraction.

Fantastic experience: Partner had emergency tooth extraction.He was very nervous. Dr Eisharawi was very understanding and considerate. She took the time to explain what was going to happen .Would recommend her to anyone . Full 5 stars .

Fantastic experience: I joined this practice around 2 years ago after having multiple dentists that did not seem to want to work with my complex oral health i had a complete lack of hope or confidence that things would get better! Thanks to Dr Ali he is making huge progress and building up my confidence so I am able to achieve my dreams! He always makes me feel comfortable, listens to any concerns I have, takes his time carrying out dental work and talking through all the options avaliable from minimum to maximum budget.

Fantastic experience: I was referred here from 111. They saw me the same day, although my appointment was half hour an hour late, I didn't mind as the dentist, Dr Marcin was extremely calming and helpful. After not visiting a dentist for many years, he made me feel at ease and didn't judge.

Negative experience: Dr Anisa fitted me a temporary cover over a very painful cracked front tooth. I was anxious going in, but was immediately made to feel at ease. I was given thorough advise on all the options to take to my present regular dentist. I was impressed to the point of asking if they were taking on new patients and we signed up! Negative experience: Firstly, they give me an appointment after 1 year when I get to the appointment.. she just Asked me what’s the problem she doesn’t know anything at all…I was suffering with pain! after she gave me another appointment where they filled my tooth and an another appointment after 1 month in case if anything happens which was cancelled, I went to the reception there was The receptionist talking to each other and not paint attention on me when I went there to my appointment, they ignored me. I went upstairs and waited for more than 1 hour, which was a really waste of time. The doctor said Didn’t you tell the receptionist that you did have an appointment? I said they didn’t pay attention on me and then she said make an other appointment after an other Month that was disappointing after waiting after they give me another appointment which they cancelled again, because they said the doctor was busy she Couldn’t be able to come so far, they give me an third appointment which was cancelled again for some reason And now they give me an appointment after two months which is a really long time and I waste all this time just for an appointments. The stuff are really rude They don’t Pay attention what you say, and they keep cancelling your appointments.. does this only happened to me or is anybody else as well?

Fantastic experience: Absolutely detest going to the dentist usually but Ive been here twice now for 2 different tooth extractions. Doctors were brilliant, efficient, and kind. They did a great job and explained every step of the way. Especially Dr Nurruddin and Dr Anisa.

Negative experience: I have call them to make appointment after I have find out I have diabetes she give late appointment I have try to explain to her she didn’t let me speake at all and I put phone down try to call back talk to different person same person answer me and she say ur not registere here any more after I went to clinic to speake to manager she was more rude then her now if I get any gum disease because of diabetes, I will sue the manger and the lady because they dissmiss me with no reason

Fantastic experience: Visited this practice in February with a painful tooth infection. I had to be seen privately as there was no NHS dentists available. The practice was very busy but I could see how efficiently it was run. The dentist explained clearly what my options were regarding saving the tooth or extraction. He was very patient with me as I was unsure as to what to do. I did eventually opt for extraction. It all went very well, with clear instructions for aftercare. I was very pleased with all the staff I dealt with. I’m happy to recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about this surgery! I'll begin with Dr Shahab Ali is THE BEST dentist I have ever seen. He has quite literally changed my life, giving me the confidence to smile again. Honestly, thank you so much! To add to this- My little boy is autistic, and any ASD parent will understand how difficult it can be for your little one to see the dentist. No such concerns here. Again, Dr Ali and the dental nurses were absolutely fantastic. He actually looks forward to visiting the dentists! Thank you all @Seven Dental/Normanton Family Dental Centre.

Fantastic experience: I visited Dr Duaa Hussain for an emergency appointment due to a very painful wisdom tooth that needed to be removed. Dr Hussain immediately put me at ease explaining to Procedure and aftercare in detail. The whole experience was quick and painless and I felt comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Extremely friendly Dentist! Dr Anisa & Neour make a really team, I had a phobia before meeting Dr Anisa, she put me at ease, chatted about our son's, honestly such a lovely woman. Also really quick at getting you in if it's an emergency & I do have to travel a fair bit but that's nothing to do with this practice, dental care under the NHS is non existent so for this practice to be run so well still as NHS is a testiment to the staff. The receptionists are really nice too. Just an all around well run dental practice.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant dental surgery! I attended for an emergency tooth extraction and I was so nervous going in and a bit upset too, my tooth was removed by Dentist Ok and his assistant Katie and I cannot praise them enough for being so reassuring, friendly and very efficient! Everything was explained in detail so I knew what to expect, it was a quick painless procedure but definitely made easier good team work! Just wish I could’ve kept my tooth after :)

Fantastic experience: Referred here by 111 and I was seen quickly. Everyone was very professional and the dentist was lovely. I was very nervous and I was put at ease. Everything was explained fully and I was shown xrays with explanations. Other issues were mentioned and discussed that I wasn't there for but I appreciated the heads up and advice. Cannot fault the service.

Fantastic experience: I'm petrified of Dentists so hadn't been for 10 years! Dr Jamal has been wonderful, gentle kind and so calming. He really has gained my trust as im so scared couldnt of been a nicer dentist to have Still having treatment now .I can't believe I'm finally getting my teeth sorted. Receptionists are all lovely and helpful and lots of them so now waiting .it's very clean .can't say enough good about it

Negative experience: Extremely rude. They claimed they tried to call and line was busy which was absolute rubbish! When I called them back the woman was so rude, she raised her voice after me saying that my line was not busy, I then tried to apologise and I heard the staff laughing in the background. So unprofessional, worst dental Surrey out there. Never being referred to them again! Their staff on reception need training with some professional manners! They sounded young and inexperienced. This will be taken further.

Fantastic experience: Dr Duaa Hussein is such a fantastic dentist. I am a very anxious patient and she's always smiling and does anything to make you feel comfortable. I have had significant dental work done with her and I can safely say I am extremely happy with the results :)

Negative experience: Called to book appointment as advised on my last appointment. The receptionist is the most rude person I have ever spoken to. She said not registered to them but I said its impossible as I've have seen the dentist two weeks ago. She insisted to speak to 111 but I said to check on their calendar as I have seen the dentist two weeks ago. And yes she has found it. She won't let me speak keep on insisting 111. Absolutely nightmare, worst customer service. The details of phone number is also not updated. She has the nerve to say not to give her an attitude which she is on attitude. If I only have an option, I will go somewhere else.

Negative experience: Went for my appointment yesterday and was told my dentist doesan't work on friday anymore,complete was of my time,all that had to do was communicate in some way,and they diden't bother doing that,text msg would have done,but nothing at all,not good enough,not happy with my wasted journey,don't appreciate getting up at 8am for my appointment,to be told my dentist doesan't work anymore on a friday,and my appointment will have to be reschuled to when she does work,a simple text msg is all it takes,to save a wasted journey,very poor communication in my opinion,from a dental practice that i have given a good review to before,for excellent work communication is vital in any relationship,and yesterday there wasen't any at all.

Fantastic experience: I had a appointment today after phoning 111 worried about pain in one of my top front teeth, they were so organised, the girls were very friendly on reception, the dentist I saw was lovely, I told her I was a nervous patient and she put me at ease immediately but in a very professional efficient manner, I felt no pain and she reassured me and even shown me how to floss in a better way as it looked like I’d caught my gum causing it to inflame. Overall very good efficient reassuring treatment. I was in and out thinking wow. If I lived closer i would definitely use this dentist. Thank you so much Normanton FDC. Brilliant work.

Negative experience: Cannot fault my dentist megah tandle, she's very good at her work. HOWEVER the waiting times for an appointment are UNsatisfactory. I was booked in for a root canal treatment which took 3 months; to then get a text message a few days prior claiming that I'd have to wait another 3 months as my dentist decided she doesn't want to work Fridays anymore. It's not the first time they have cancelled my appointment last minute. 6months for an appointment is unacceptable
