The treatment I received was excellent. The dentist making sure I was ok all the way through. The best dentist I have ever been to see . Fantastic experience: I couldn’t be happier choosing sunny for my Invisalign treatment. My front teeth used to stick out quite prominently, during the treatment sunny was very helpful and supportive, the treatment was very quick and painless, I cannot believe the amazing results. Fantastic experience: I tried to get an appointment for emergency tooth pain. None of the dental practices around were available or accepting new patients. I contacted 111 for help and managed to get an appointment for the next day, but they called me back and fit me in on the same day. I received antibiotics for an infection and very good treatment. All the staff were really nice!

Fantastic experience: Had a filling yesterday here, I’ve always been very nervous when it comes to needles. However I didn’t even feel a scratch! They are all so lovely and understanding. I’ve been to practices before & had a filling where I can feel exactly where they done it and took months for my bite to feel normal. Fantastic experience: Can't say I enjoy going to the dentist, but i went to the hygienist here at 3.30pm today. I moved here from a different dentist. I have no idea her name but the hygenist was absolutely lovely. I was honest in that I probably neglected my teeth in the past and she wasn't judgemental at all. She was completely professional, kind and just made you feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend and will see her again in the future. Thank you.

From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with a smile. Dr Sunny Sareen is lovely. I followed all his advice and my teeth are looking perfect and I had 0 problems. He is approachable and patient, he answered all my questions at the beginning and was very quick to answer when I had any questions during the treatment. Fantastic experience: Brilliant brilliant brilliant . I'm 53 not been to a dentist since I was 8 . Had to call nhs 111 as I did not have a dentist and needed emergency treatment. I was given this dentists as was first available and boy there good had 3 visits in 3 weeks first 2 appointment where with main dentist he got to the problem and then past me onto 2 student dentists who did 3 fillings and a scale and polish . All where perfect pain free . Could not recommend them any more highly. Including the reception staff . Million stars out a 5 X

Fantastic experience: Took my son for a dental emergency through 111 due to an infection. My son has mental health and sensory issues. We had Sonny who was very patient and explained what he wanted to do before approaching my son. For the first time in many years at a dentist I can honestly say it was a positive experience for him. Thank you for helping my son we really appreciate the help. The empathy and understanding my son’s needs was second to none. Highly recommend this surgery.

Negative experience: I must say this is the best dentist i have ever been treated at. No other dentist could guide me or reassure me when i had a broken tooth last time and just recently, too. All the staff are very kind and nice from reception to dentist and nurses apart from practice manager……i was feeling disrespectful when the practice manager talking various languages to his colleagues in front of the pacients despite colleagues replying to him in english. This is unprofesional and rude.

Fantastic experience: I could not of had a better experience. Due to a cyst in my jaw, I had to have two separate operations, one to remove it from my chin (at Basildon Hospital) as I was just about to get married , and they couldn’t do the full operation in time of the wedding. But the plan was to have the inner operation after the wedding , after returning they could see the my body was fighting it off by its self ,so they decided to leave me in the very good hands of Sonny to keep a close eye, unfortunately a few years went pass,it started to grow back. I was referred to Hutton , to have the second operation, in this time one of my tooth had discolouring, and I become very conscious of it . Operation went well and the cyst was finally gone, there was a risk of tooth loss and the discoloured tooth was now completely dead . Sonny had no other choice but to remove the tooth and I had a denture fitter . This knocked my condition massively, as I hatted having to take my tooth out ever night before bed , the least thing I saw end was this gap and it was the first thing I saw every morning, it made me feel so ugly, I would even go as far as saying I started to miss the discoloured tooth. There was talk off an implant, but the saw hadn’t healed like they would have like and the tooth would have sat lower then the rest . Sonny then suggested invisaligns. At first I was count up on the price, as I have a young family and like most mums feel guilty for spending money on myself. After speaking to my husband.I decided to go forward with the Invisalign’s. And have never looked back, the gap has completely gone I’m near the end of my course. I’ve never been happier with my smile, I would go as far as say that Sonny has given me my smile back. I’m so much more confident than I was, this experience has been life changing and I will forever be grateful for Sonny and the Smile dental practice, they are all so kind and welcoming, not once did I feel judged . Thank you all so much.If you are thinking about having them, just do it . I promise you, you won’t regret it

Fantastic experience: This dentist surgery has completely changed my life! They’ve helped me manage and begin to overcome my irrational fear of going to the dentist. Every member of staff within the practice displays kindness; comfort, encouragement and support and as a result I’ve gone from not visiting the dentist for 6+ years! To having multiple appointments in the last couple of months. I was in agony with dental pain to unbearable levels. I couldn’t eat; sleep, it was crippling. I can happily say that my dentist is a miracle worker. In the beginning I was terrified and doubted anything could help and thought I would have to have the tooth removed. Not only has he cured my pain he has also saved the tooth. They’ve all been cleaned up and I feel confident to smile again. I cannot express how grateful I am to him and every one at smile dentist for helping make going to the dentist a regular and less scary experience. Cannot recommend enough!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing service. The dentist Sunny was the most informative and caring dentist I have ever seen. The dental nurse was lovely and the receptionist was so helpful and kind to me on the phone and in person. I was referred to this dentist from 111 as an emergency as I had a broken tooth. I'm also quite a nervous patient as I have had poor treatment in the past from a different dentist practice. I was trying to navigate being a new mum to a 2 week old with terrible tooth pain that was denying me any sleep and stopping me from eating and this was solved by Sunny and his team so quickly. They were all polite, understanding, caring and very informative. I am beyond grateful and appreciative. I wish that I could attend this dentist as an NHS patient as the service was outstanding! After contacting pretty much every dental service around the area, it was such a breath of fresh air speaking to the lovely lady at reception. She was so patient, and helped me organise myself. To what has been a really stressful period trying to get appointments with dentist. I applaud their patient-centric customer service. Going for my treatment, it was the same courteousness from reception, to the dentist. Gosh THE BEST DENTIST IVE BEEN TO. Would highly recommend all the staff, you can tell they care and are very considerate.

Fantastic experience: I have visited the surgery twice as an emergency 111 patient. Today they went above and beyond to help me. The receptionist was so helpful and went out of her way to get me seen. I was seen by a lovely lady dentist who I believe was assisted by Tracey. Positive experience: I had to call on behalf of my daughter to cancel a filling appointment. I was met with a very stand offish and rude response. This was because the cancellation had come an hour before the appointment. I obviously apologised and I explained to whomever answered the phone this cancellation was not deliberate and my daughter had become extremely unwell which is why she asked me to call and cancel. She was in a state of pain and upset. And stated to me she needs this appointment but as i could clearly see,in a lot of pain. This was unavoidable and although I understand the appointment could of been given to another patient, neither myself or my daughter had expected this outcome this afternoon. My daughter has said this surgery was pleasant and staff are lovely. But I found this absolutely uncalled for as this wasn’t a cancellation to waste anyone’s time,my daughter is now anxious about this,apologising because of how she currently feels, and concerning herself regarding the next appointment.

Fantastic experience: I needed my first filling and was very nervous but not once was I made to feel silly, Sunny & his assistant were so patient, understanding and really took their time with me. I also received an email from Erika asking how I got on which I thought was so lovely, shows you how amazing the customer care is and patients aren’t just numbers. Thank you all!

Feeling very anxious, the Dentist and nurse went above and beyond to reassure me, everything will be ok, they fixed my filling and we're so kind and caring about my operation, if they were taking on NHS patients I would have been first inline. Fantastic experience: After a horrific experience with another dentist many years ago, I had been putting off going to the dentist until toothache caused me to need to find a local dentist. After reading reviews online and speaking to a colleague who recommended Smile Dental Centre, I booked an appointment. I've got to say that I am so glad that I did. All the staff were kind, considerate and not at all judgemental or condescending as had been my experience elsewhere. My immediate issue was fixed and I have booked to see them again soon for further treatment. Yes it cost a few quid but the service was worth it. I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had her appointment today, the receptionist was really helpful at getting her an appointment that worked out of school hours. The dentist who saw her was really friendly and made her feel very comfortable (she’s only 4) . She explained everything that was happening and made it a really positive experience. Positive experience: Had tooth out today, quite a difficult extraction. The dentist was great though, explaining everything before, during and after the procedure. Both he and all the staff were lovely, very caring and reassuring. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars, is not being able to get treatment on NHS. Will definitely go back ( when I've paid for this one) Overall great service.

After not being able to get an urgent appointment from my designated ‘dentist’… I contacted 111 and they recommended the Smile dental centre- I called through and although there were no appointments left for the day after hearing my symptoms the Smile Centre fit me in for a same day appointment. The staff at the Surgery are all polite and pleasant, and I did not feel rushed at all during my appointment. Fantastic experience: Originally written 4 years ago ( update added at the bottom from today 13/07/23) Today was my first time at smile dental centre. I'm not good with phones, so through email the amazing, kind Erika sorted me out an appointment. Without ever making me feel I was a nuisance. She literally is an angel. I've avoided dentists over the years after another practice scared me So badly I'm anxious meeting new people, let alone also visiting a new dentist I could barely breathe and burst into tears the minute I was in Dr. Sunny's room . But he was so compassionate and kind, he never once made me feel stupid . He treated me with respect that I have never had from a dentist before. He didn't judge me, nag me, or make me feel uncomfortable in the slightest. In fact he totally put me at ease with his kind, caring manner . He explained every single little thing he was doing, and what he was going to do. He said it was important I build trust with him, to see how he works, so I feel comfortable enough to keep coming back. That meant a great deal . Because dentists in the past have made me feel like a lesser being to them. They never seemed to really care . Especially being a NHS patient, it always seemed you mattered even less. Yet with Sunny, I genuinely feel he really DOES care about his patients. we aren't just numbers filling a quota. He actually wants to help, if that means taking more of his ( probably much needed) time, to spend making you feel at ease, then that's what he will do. I can honestly say I have never met a more gentle and kind dentist. If they were all like sunny, no one would ever fear going to the dentist again. I feel so much better after just my first visit, I feel I'm going to one day ,get my smile and confidence back. I know Sunny will look after me. He is an amazing dentist from what I have seen so far, and a very compassionate human being . I feel very lucky to be a patient at Smile. I would highly recommend to anyone seeking a dentist that actually cares, especially to anyone that's nervous/ anxious and avoided dentists. Because they know exactly the best way to support and guide you through it. Thank you Sunny, and Erika for being so wonderful x Update: I'm still so happy with the treatment I receive at Smile. I have only ever seen Sunny, so can not comment on other dentists. you couldn't hope for a kinder, more respectful, wonderful dentist than Sunny. Nothing is to much trouble and he never makes me feel like a nuisance, ever. Erika is the reason I got through the door in the first place. Her kindness supported me when I was most anxious. Sammy is lovely and warm , always there with a smile and the practice manager has always been very kind to me as well. Im so grateful to each of the team and im so very lucky to be able to come here for treatment. I would never go anywhere else. Why would i? When i get the best care anyone could hope for xx

I have always been extremely pleased not only with their dentistry, but also the way that they treat their patients. Erika on reception always goes the extra mile to help patients. Fantastic experience: I called Smile Dental this morning having spent a few days in continued agony with a wisdom tooth and cracked molar. I spoke to a wonderful lady named Erika who was so understanding and sympathetic towards my crumbling voice down the phone! Even though I am not registered (although I am now!) with Smile, she managed to fit me in within the hour. I was so happy to see Erika that when I arrived I could have hugged her over the counter :) I was seen immediately by a lovely female dentist and given a thorough examination and then an X-ray. I was given some treatment to ease the discomfort and prescribed some antibiotics to rid the infection. I will be going back next week once I have completed the course. Thank you SO much Smile Dental - you saved me from another day of agony!!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Smiledental centre regurerly for over two years and every single visit has been amazing. From the lovely reception team, especially Erika, to hygienist Molly and my dentist Sunny. I am forever grateful for their care for my teeth and my general well being. I had my wisdom tooth taken out on one evening and I had 0 pain, none. I couldn't even believe the tooth was actually removed! Although I did use their service of IV sedation and they made the whole experience just like a funny dream. Fantastic experience: Due to having a tooth ache for a couple of days I rang smiles Dentist to book in for a check up,they were very busy but said they’ll see me as didn’t want me to be in any pain any longer. Receptionist were very helpful as was the dentist too. I had an X-ray on my tooth then was given a prescription for penicillin…got to go back in 2 weeks for treatment on my aching tooth. Thanks all at smiles,saved me from major pain.
