Fantastic experience: Until I came to the Spicer Road Practice I had a fear of dentists from childhood experience. From my first appointment to the present, I was totally reassured, firstly with the wonderful Mr Mohsen Farhoudi and now with the equally wonderful Mr Stephen Bulmer. From the moment you arrive at Reception you are greeted with a warm welcome and smile from the lovely Receptionists and the Dental Nurses are always pleasant and reassuring too. I would not hesitate to recommend the Practice to anyone.

Fantastic experience: We have been with the Spice Road practice for more than 40 years. The service we regularly receive is outstanding, from reception to regular check-ups as well as for any necessary treatments. Our dentist is Lawrence Wood but the whole team is impressive. I recently needed some emergency treatment for a broken crown and saw one of Lawrence's colleagues who dealt with the problem quickly with a satisfactory temporary solution. The permanent solution that Lawrence suggested - a new crown with a bridge - was done incredibly efficiently, painlessly and with a very satisfactory result that I am very pleased with. I would highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: The receptionists were very helpful, knowledgeable and polite. Mr Bulmer, listened to my issues having had open hear surgery. He was well informed as to my situation, needs and fears. He checked my neck & jaw as part of the routine first check up ( unlike my former dentist!) very professional.

Fantastic experience: I was extremely nervous and had avoided going to the dentist for years due to bad past experiences, but everyone I have spoken to at this practice has been so lovely and reassuring that it has completely turned the experience around for me! I spoke to the reception team prior to my appointment to let them know I was really anxious about coming in, and they talked me through some of the options available to me as a nervous patient, who my dentist was going to be, and what my first appointment would look like, which was incredibly reassuring and helped me build my confidence. I saw Hannah Robinson, who has been nothing short of brilliant - she was extremely patient with me despite me almost bursting into tears at the start of the appointment from how nervous I was, and she talked me through the plan for the appointment and how to signal for her to stop if I needed. Hannah Robinson was so friendly, thorough, and competent that it completely put me at ease for my treatment, and she booked me in for Hygienist sessions with herself so I could have them with someone I was already familiar and comfortable with which really helped with my nerves around the appointments. I really appreciate how kind and empathetic the approach has been from the whole practice, and I have recommended the practice and Hannah Robinson to my friends who are also nervous about going to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Very welcoming staff, Dentist explained my options for paying for treatment. I would fully recommend them if you are looking for a new dentist. Only thing to be mindful of is limited parking in the Spicer Road.

Even under Covid restrictions the quality of the Surgery had not been curtailed. All treatments explained clearly in a language the patient can understand. Would recommend to anyone.

The inspection appointment was earlier in the month and two problems were noted and treatment advice is given for a later appointment. Later appointment has arrived can't fault always clean and tidy. I would like to thank Mr Bulmer for the care and attention upon the dentistry he will perform with percission treatment. All done with care and attention. Making sure that all is satisfactory after surgery can be completed, any niggles are dealt with before leaving. This a recommendation I can agree to.
