Belper Dental Practice

Fantastic experience: Unity Millhouse Dental Practice recently merged with Belper Dental Practice and I'm happy to report I received the same quality care and advice.

Fantastic experience: Had to go private, because of being let down by my NHS dentist. Cost aside, emergency treatment and patient care was top notch, could not fault the service from initial booking through to treatment and aftercare. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Normally pleased with service here but went for a consultation today on the possibility of having an implant. Was told the consultation fee would be £100 but it was actually £128 (more then a 25% increase!). Was told the cost of the implant would be around £3000 turns out it will be £4964 (just 1 tooth) that is 66% higher than suggested. I understand there will be variables on charges depending on individual treatments but the percentages here leave me feeling that I was mislead by the practice.

Fantastic experience: I rang early requesting an emergency appointment and was given one this afternoon. I listened while waiting to 2 receptionists being patient and courteous to each caller. The dentist I saw was efficient and helpful. I am happy to have 2 further appointments to see her. I am entirely happy with Genesis Dental Service, who have looked after my teeth well for a number of years now

Fantastic experience: We can’t thank Fuz and Her asInstant enough for her incredible patience and kindness! She was amazing with my son, especially when he changed his mind not once, not twice, but three times about having his wobbly tooth removed. She stayed calm, gentle, and reassuring throughout the whole visit, never rushing him and always making sure he felt safe and in control. It’s rare to find someone so understanding with children, and Fuz and her assistant truly went above and beyond.

Fantastic experience: Friendly and helpful staff on reception, the appointment was on time so I wasn't kept waiting. The staff in the treatment room were friendly and very helpful. I was given a thorough check up of my teeth, gums and mouth without time constraints and was given a detailed verbal report on the state of my teeth and advice where necessary. I was given chance to ask any questions I may have had. I came away thinking I should have been with this Dentist long before now

Fantastic experience: Excellent service from start to finish. Friendly efficient reception staff, a pleasant waiting area. I had a six monthly check up including x Rays and a discussion on treatment the dentist who was professional calm and reassuring. I then had my 6 monthly descale and Polish with Alan who again with the DSA was calm and efficient. This is an excellent dental practice.

Fantastic experience: Went in very nervous due to past experiences, walked out no longer in pain and with my mind at rest. The staff were kind, informative and listen. If you’re neurodivergent like myself, I’d highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of this practice for many years now and except for one incident I have been very satisfied withe service and skills I have experienced from this practice. They have a good range of modern skills, services and equipment. Today I told the dentist that I had purchased some small brush heads suitable for cleaning between the teeth which fit electronic brushes. She asked me who supplied these brush heads. These are available on Amazon as shown in the attached photograph.

Fantastic experience: Had an appointment yesterday and the service I received in the chair for a root canal treatment was excellent. There was a delay of 30 mins going in for my appointment, but that's clearly because the quality of the dentist was excellent and she didn't rush her clients

Fantastic experience: I was relieved and surprised to get a same day emergency appointment when my crown fell off! And they were able to cement it back on until I can get it replaced in a couple of months. Very friendly and helpful as always.

She is always so helpful and kind and takes time to give me the attention my teeth need when I’m ready for my appointment. Abi the hygienist is also so lovely and takes time and care with my teeth.

Positive experience: Pleasantly surprised how nice the new premises was, although more notice could of being given on changing address. Having said that treatment I was given was very thorough and very good,reception staff friendly as was the dentist herself, will be back in six months.

Almost all dental clinic sounds like hesitant to do oral surgery whenever I declare that Im currently taking blood thinner (pulmonary embolism case) My last on the list was Belper Dental Practice because it is too far from us, But yes like what other said the last is the BEST....❤️ From the receptionist (forgot to get the name I will update this review when I get her name) to the whole team was SUPERB!..⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The receptionist got all my details and booked me immediately within this day. I came to the clinic and no less than 5min nurse Collie and Dr.Manuel attended me immediately. Nurse Collie was with Dr. Manuel when doing the oral surgery, she was very welcoming and guiding me throughout the oral surgery and making you feel you will be fine and safe.. I repeated to Dr. Manuel my case that im on Blood thinner (P. Embolism) Im looking to Dr. Manuel and his face is so calm like a Master of Tooth Fairy... .... he was so calm that you gonna know and feel that he knows exactly what he is doing.... Dr. Manuels hand is very light I didnt even felt that it was done .. Its like he is just getting white heads on my face, its done like that... it was all done I guess in less than 15min. He's like PRO MASTER of TOOTH and GUMS.. Yeahhhh. Giving 5 Star is not enough for this people ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ They are the HEART of this Dental Clinic. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Happy Gums, ❤️ Ly

Fantastic experience: I’ve just had root canal treatment- not the best way to spend an hour, but the whole experience was so positive. I had absolutely no pain at all, the dentist was quick, totally professional and super careful. I can highly recommend him for anyone who needs that kind of treatment The dental assistant was lovely too. All in all, a very positive experience!

Fantastic experience: We visited the dentist for a double appointment for myself and my 3 year old daughter. The dentist Zainab and her assistant Leah were so friendly and welcoming, they made my daughter feel at ease straight away. They explained everything really clearly and let her chose a sticker at the end. Rebecca on reception was very welcoming, friendly and polite as well and the waiting room was a clean, calm, quiet area with a little kids corner with colouring sheets and pencils to keep them occupied while they wait. Overall a very pleasant visit.

Fantastic experience: Well organised, and efficient practice with some very capable dentists. I'm an NHS patient but get excellent service. My current dentist did a filling for me while attending a checkup last week, saving me days of discomfort and a further appointment. They also seem very friendly and positive.

Fantastic experience: Only just joined from the other practice - so far, excellent in most respects. Reception staff nice and welcoming. The spiral staircase up to floor 1 might be a problem for some people, I was fine. Maybe there's a lift Treatment from dentist Jess Young was great as ever. Only minor niggle is to be asked to pay for work yet to be carried out in a further appointment. Not great. Despite this, I'd recommend this practice.
