Fantastic experience: Kamil is the best dental surgeon I’ve ever seen! Reassuring, composed, very informative and has made a great job of my root canal! (I was quite nervous about the pain… but didn’t feel a thing!)

Negative experience: Went for an implant consultation and was very disappointed. Cost was £140 for a 45 minute appointment to discuss procedures and costs .They didn’t talk about procedures just had a look at my teeth and then printed a treatment plan and costs . This took approximately 20 minutes from start to finish and still don’t know the procedure and just felt disappointed in the whole process.

The best .i used to have a fear of going to the Dentist until I met him .. he’s so calming and kind … I sit in the chair and I could fall asleep. I NEVER thought I’d ever say that about anybody never mind a Dentist . From day one meeting him my fears just went away , and believe me I’ve had plenty of needles for numbing and I’ve never felt a thing… The reception staff are so polite kind.and helpful.. This practice is just worth every penny I pay each month on their plan . Perfect all round.

Fantastic experience: I am petrified of the dentist I mean to the point I would get in a car hysterical get there and not be able to enter the building one I’ve had problems most of my life with dental issues since I was 11. I’ve had a few bad experiences along the way and a couple of years ago fell due to having multiple sclerosis and knocked out a front tooth and created a few fractures too I went to a local dentist in Barnsley and had a full set of crowns costing a lot of money although the teeth looked amazing I soon discovered some previous root canal work had failed and needed to be re done meaning drilling through the porcelain crowns I was referred to Wickersley I didn’t know what to expect I was frightened anxious upset and really dreading it I was in such a state and couldn’t sleep I needed 4 teeth treating with every tooth needing 2 visits today I had my last visit today and can say I did it without a single crown breaking and I cannot thank Kamil enough he was patient and understanding and didn’t sugar coat anything was truthful and realistic but explained everything and encouraged me to keep going I’m glad I did Thankyou To all the staff on reception and the nurses with kamil I appreciate your help

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff. I was welcomed on arrival by the receptionist. I found the dental practice very professional & could feel my nerves starting to ease! I had root canal treatment which I had put off a while due to the thought of an hour long appointment to do 1 of 2 treatments, However it wasn’t that bad and I felt in safe hands. I don’t feel nervous about returning for my 2nd treatment and would highly recommend the practice. I’m not from the area but needed specialist treatment due to my dental practice trying and failing to carry out the procedure. I’m glad I was referred to this particular one. :-)

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Wickersley Dental Practice since it opened years ago and I have been very happy with all the Dental work and inspections that I have had, due to regular dental inspections I have had little work done over the years and what work I have had done was carried out in a most professional manner and pain free. We live 80+ miles away in Bridlington but the trip to the dentist is always worth it, it is Very difficult to find a good Dentist and we (myself and my partner) are staying with this one. The staff are both very professional and friendly and always put my partner at ease when we visit. I would have no hesitation in recommending Wickersley Dental Practice to anyone. John and Sylvia.

Every single interaction with the staff has been warm, friendly and professional and the procedures I've had have been performed to an incredible degree of professionalism and perfection. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

Negative experience: Dental care good but very expensive. Today, I feel particularly ripped off. Treatment is done with no discussion of costs and there are no price lists anywhere. Before you know it you end up with a huge bill. This is the first time I’ve been for nearly two years and it’s likely to be another two years before I go again.

Fantastic experience: Everything at this dental practice is excellent from the very polite and friendly receptionists, to the dental assistants and the dentists themselves. Over the last year and with many visits to the surgery Miles fitted several implants for me. He explained exactly what procedures he was carrying out as he was working and he stopped many times to ask if I was OK. It was not something I was looking forward to but I can honestly say that everything went well with little discomfort. Thanks to all at the practice.

Fantastic experience: It's not like I want to recommend a root canal treatment, but if you need one, this practice is the place to go. In the chair for over 60 minutes with not a jot of discomfort. Really pleased with how well it went.

Fantastic experience: I was diagnosed with Chronic Periodontitis Stage IV in October 2020 and have since received treatment by Mr. Goodman which was completed last week. Very impressed by Mr. Goodman's enthusiasm , explanations and the treatments he carried out. I could not fault any of it. Very pleasant atmosphere in the practice at Wickersley . Efficient and very helpful.

Fantastic experience: There aren’t words to explain how much I’d recommend anyone to use Wickersley Dental and Implant Practice. Every member of the team there are so personable, caring and lovely. They are happy to see you and treat patients with the highest quality of care. For all the team it’s not just a job, I’ve always been scared of going to the dentist and when I walk in here they help me feel calm and throughly take time to provide me with all the information about treatment. They really want to ensure you know everything to make the right the decision for yourself and nothing is too much trouble. I’ve had phone calls to put me at ease following advice and treatment. Glynn is the main dentist I’ve seen and I couldn’t have asked to see anyone better, he’s the first dentist I’ve seen where I fully trust his guidance and advice and he’s such a lovely guy, such a credit to the practice. Sam, Lisa, Paula and Kim have also been amazing throughout my time at Wickersley, nothing is too much trouble for them, they have a high level of knowledge and will do anything required to ensure you leave feeling cared for and supported. The service I’ve received I’m very greatful for and wish I could give back so my review is the only way I can do this.

Fantastic experience: Further to a consultation I started with my first treatment consisting of anterior composites. The consultation had been complete including scans and fotos with potential options outlined. This followed up by a cost plan and plenty of supplementary information. The work took some four hours but was professional and friendly and inspite of five associated fillings was totally pain free even without any local! The resulting outcome is excellent. I have subsequently just completed the process of four implants and corresponding teeth with Miles Grout and his team at Wickersley Dental Practice. I have been very pleased with the process, attention to detail, care and the outcome and would not hesitate to recommend their services.

Fantastic experience: Visited today as my son had lost half his front tooth in a accident to see what we could do about it , the dentist was fabulous with my son who has autism and explained to him what was happening and kept checking he was ok , 10 minutes later and it’s as though he’d not lost half his tooth at all, his tooth looked as good as new . Fantastic experience: I’ve been at Wickersly Dental Practice for around 4 years and going private from the NHS was the best decision I made. There is always appointments available so you aren’t waiting around and they will go above and beyond to help if you have any dental issues. I’m always running late due to work and they always accommodate me and the reception team are so lovely and friendly. I’ve have my normal dentistry, Invisalign and composite all here and been happy with everything they’ve done. I have now have the ‘perfect’ set of teeth. Nathan is my dentist and is fantastic and Julie is worth the little extra wait for a hygienist!

Fantastic experience: My son and i have been patients at this practice for over 25 years and are highly delighted with the service we receive and would never consider going anywhere else. From front line receptionists to dental nurses to my dentist michael we have always been looked after with utter professionalism , kindness and consideration . You feel that you are coming to visit friends in a relaxed atmosphere. The practice waiting room. Bathroom facilities and actual surgeries are always immaculately clean. Being a nervous person michael puts me at ease with his friendly manner, takes time to explain treatment options and costs. I had to fit in with an urgent appointment this week and michael made sure i was seen and treated the same day. No hesitation in recommending wickersley dental practice always 5 star service.

Fantastic experience: I have just finished a Invisalign treatment with Dr Nathan. The whole team are so lovely from the minute you walk in. Negative experience: My wife was referred to this private practice by our NHS dentist for a root treatment. I suspect this practice is part of a consortium of dental practices including our own. Prior to the appointment I had to pay £100 up front. Despite trying for a considerable time to gain entrance to the root canal, the surgeon admitted defeat as the canal was calcified and proved impossible to root fill. As a retired dental surgeon of 33 years experience, and now having seen the x ray , I personally wouldn’t have attempted a root filling. For this treatment I was charged an additional £288.50. Once bitten… GWJ

Fantastic experience: I visited Wickersley Dental Practice for the first time today. I would like to express that my whole experience of this practice, from start to finish, has been fantastic. I have always been anxious prior, and during dental appointments, but all that has gone out of the window as the team here are great and made today’s experience flawless. The initial contact with the practice reassured me and prompted me to make an appointment. From this point on, they have been very communicative via email and text. Upon arrival at the practice, I was greeted by a lovely receptionist who welcomed me to the practice and took time to talk me through several things. After a very short wait in the very warming and welcoming reception area, Youseff, the dentist, came out and welcomed me into his surgery together with Sam. He chatted to me and listened to concerns I had then did a check on my teeth and took x-rays, and again discussed the result of these and what he advised going forward, with no pressure for me to make an immediate decision. After the examination, I went to reception to discuss booking for further treatments. She explained their payment plans in detail and printed me off a detailed report of what Youseff had discussed with me. The lovely Eloise then came and took some images. I cannot praise this practice enough and will no longer fear going to the dentist.
