Fantastic experience: Having just had a filling, I can confidently say that Finkle Hill Dental Care does go above and beyond when is come to the care and service you receive, it is a private service but the peace of mind and the valuable advice you get is worth the subscription.

Fantastic experience: 25/7/25 Tooth ache meant a visit to Finkle Hill Dentistry. Liam identified the faulty very old filling. Sadly this required the old item removing and prep for a new crown. 45 mins in the chair and I left with a temp fitting. 2 weeks later the crown was fitted and all is well. It feels very natural. Liam and his assistants have been super caring and professional throughout. I was never in any pain at any stage and the mild discomfort getting the area numbed in readiness for the first stage was mild. Great treatment and care, so would highly recommend to anyone. I could have looked around for an NHS dentist and saved some money, but the end result is so good, I almost struggle to think I would get a as good from everywhere. I don't care now - just delighted. ========================================== Needed to visit Liam as I was getting a bit of pain and suspected a filling was needed. I gad great care. Liam checked my mouth, then each tooth was assessed and finally 2 X-rays as I hadn’t had any for 3 years. All good no fillings but I did get some coating to the sensitive tooth area and we’ll see how we fair. Super service and very friendly and that includes the the lovely lass on reception. I go back in a few weeks for a hygiene session. I would highly recommend Finkle Hill to anyone looking for top class Dental care. Great job guys!

Fantastic experience: I have been a client at Finkle Hill for the past eight years. I have four appointments a year. Two with Serena , the hygienist and two with Cliff the dentist. The treatment , skill and care I receive has never wavered. The procedures I have undergone have all had long term positive outcomes. From the skill and technology used to make the bridge that is a perfect fit to the denture which is also a complete success on the opposite side of my mouth. Not straight forward with my poor gums but nevertheless totally successful. I now enjoy the confidence of a healthy smile and a healthy mouth. Serena has taught me how to look after my teeth in a caring , knowledgeable way. She is passionate about her job and helping clients to both understand how to look after their teeth and gums but also to encourage this longterm to help our general health. The receptionists are also excellent. Always polite, organised and extremely helpful. A fantastic team. I travel from Harrogate to Finkle Hill , which is quite a trek. There are excellent dentists in my area, however the effort is well worth it. I shall continue to make the journey for as long as I can. I could not recommend this practice highly enough. Thank you to the team at Finkle Hill.

Fantastic experience: It's actually becoming a pleasure to visit the dentist!! I have been with this dental practice for decades and have seen many changes. In recent years, my teeth have been taken care of by a lovely dentist who does an amazing job, so when the practice went private, I decided to stay. My teeth and gums are in great condition to say I'm in my 60s. My visits to the hygienist, that are included in the package I pay for, are certainly a factor in this. My teeth are so much cleaner and healthier because of my hygienist visits. At every appointment there is always time for a chat and to raise any concerns. I highly recommend Finkle Hill Dental Care.

My teeth have never felt this clean — they even removed some stubborn stains (thanks to my Yorkshire Tea habit!) that I didn’t think could be lifted without whitening. The whole team was so friendly, welcoming and professional, and Gemma was absolutely meticulous — a real perfectionist who clearly takes pride in her work. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had Clare last year for some composite bonding which I am still absolutely in love with! I saw her last week, with what ended up being quite a deep cavity. Clare was amazing as usual, and made me feel so comfortable as I am not the biggest fan of needles - ended up not feeling a thing. Reassuring the whole way and did a great job, cannot even tell I have had a filling. There was no sensitivity or pain, and she was able to squeeze me in quickly!

Clare and Lauren have been so friendly and professional and have worked with him to plan around his commitments in sixth form. Couldn’t recommend Invisalign and especially Finkle Hill more highly for any teens or young adults considering treatment.

Fantastic experience: If Carlsberg did Dentists! This is THE best and friendliest and nicest group of people / dental surgery you will ever experience. Accessible, friendly, professional, flexible, reasonable and lovely newly refurbished clinic. My daughter has gorgeous teeth and loves going to the dentist and brushing her teeth ....not just because of what Mummy and Daddy encourage but because of this awesome team. No snotty or rude receptionists or scary patronising hygiensts like the dentists of my youth! Just brilliant :)

Fantastic experience: As a nervous patient requiring three extractions today I was not looking forward to my appointment with Liam O’Hara. He was excellent having followed up my assessment last month and developed a well planned and communicated programme of treatment. He is ably assisted in this by Laura who negotiated the five appointments to suit. Today was a good day - it couldn’t have gone better.

Fantastic experience: Excellent standard of service and great friendly staff. I came for a Six month check up with Claire and with the hygienist Serena, they are lovely. Thankfully, I didn’t need any treatment apart from a ‘deep clean’ I’ve never felt so relaxed going to a dentist. I’ve been with the surgery for a year now and can honestly say they really are excellent and caring. This comes from someone who has very sensitive teeth and would previously cringe and hang on the arms of the chair whilst being cleaned. I don’t have any of this now.

Clare, Serena and the entire team at Finkle Hill are just a delight and offer an amazing service. They make you feel totally at ease and are so down to earth, it’s genuinely a pleasure going to see them all. We then went through the findings and discussed various options for the work that needs doing, I was given all the information. Everything was explained fully. My concerns were listened to. Fantastic experience: I’ve been battling with my own NHS dentist for 18 months about a tooth that broke and keeps getting infected in spite of him repeatedly filling it. He finally agreed to extract it but not for a month. So I went to Finkle Hill. Liam was amazing. He said the roots of the tooth are fractured and the tooth is definitely not salvageable. I have an appointment on the 17th of December to have it pulled and hopefully will be on the road to recovery. He also found a cavity that my normal dentist has never mentioned! Great service! Excellent and friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: Amazing practice! For someone like me (introvert & scared of dental procedures) I couldn’t imagine going somewhere else. Claire and Serena are incredibly lovely and patient. For a private practice it is also very reasonably priced and they offer lots of other specialist treatments like invisilign. Big recommend!

What he has done with the refurbishment of the practice recently is brilliant, it’s very smart and modern. All the members of staff i've met and come into contact with over the years are all a credit to the practice, very helpful and friendly. I hope I never have to go anywhere else.
