2 months ago Fantastic experience: Just a routine checkup with David Hirst & his team. Once I was sat in the waiting area, it was a mere 5 minutes before I was called in. All checked out, with in less than 10 minutes, 2 x-rays taken as a precaution. Always welcoming, always polite & interested in the person. Nothing to be done after the checkup & waiting fingers crossed for another 12mth wait till we see each other again. Downstairs at reception, it was also efficient & speedy as well as on time. We do miss the original gang at what was Vincent & Mack's but time moves on. Really appreciate the service David provides & the rest of the team. Thank you all.

5 months ago Fantastic experience: Kena and her assistant was amazing with my little girl today, prior to her appointment she was saying “I don’t want to go dentist” Kena let her play with the tools and her lion and made my daughter feel so comfortable, to the point as she was leaving my daughter asked if she could go again tomorrow l! 6 months ago Fantastic experience: I recently attended for a check up appointment with Kenna and dental assistant Sheryl. They were very thorough and took the time to explain everything which instantly put me at ease. I then returned for a filling and a clean and polish and it was the quickest and most painless procedure I have ever had. They are both so friendly and welcoming! After fearing the dentist my whole life I left my appointment feeling so much more confident and I just wanted to say thank you!

8 months ago Fantastic experience: Been coming to this dentist for as long as I can remember and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. My appointment today with Ayad and Maria to have my crown fitted went very well I am a very nervous patient and they made me feel at ease and calm Talked me through every step of the fitting from moulding to fitting , and am very very please with the results , can't even tell I have a crown on my front tooth. Would definitely recommend any patient coming to this practice for any dental treatments

I was seen by David Hirst and he was so thorough in explaining everything to me. I am an incredibly nervous patient and he put me at ease and gave advice. I can’t thank him enough!

11 months ago Negative experience: Been a patient at this BUPA for a number of years but now I have a maternity exemption certificate I can’t get booked in unless I stay as a private patient and pay as they ‘don’t have the capacity for ‘new’ NHS patients’. Absolutely ridiculous.

1 year ago Positive experience: 1st page of website clearly has a tick for NHS patients. When I enquired about this ( I used to be NHS here) they said they only do private patients. Clear misinformation. Other than that my dentist is great but expensive.

1 year ago Fantastic experience: Excellent service all the way through from booking the appointment to treatment from both the dentist and hygienist. I felt that they were both thorough and informative when explaining how to take care of my teeth and avoid future problems. Highly recommended.

There texts / emails to remind me of upcoming appointments is helpful, and upon attending at the clinic, the staff are always friendly and polite and makes what can be a stressful experience less so. 1 year ago Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting service, I had a a medical emergency that resulted in myself loosing three teeth and to pay privately as NSH wouldn’t help. Extremely nice people when they are taking money from you and paid over £1000 for a denture. The denture didn’t even last six months and broke and I had to pay for it repairing. I phoned up the practice and they said they would call me back, two weeks passed and no phone call so called them back there response was as follows: The plate was a temporary fix and you would have to have implants costing around £10,000 like people just have that spare money laying around. Eventually Anna ( I think that was her name) basically said you would have to pay for another denture in hopes this lasts and if you want to complain ring back reception!! Appalling customer service, even the private doctors don’t care these days. I would avoid going anywhere near this practice if you want private work

1 year ago Fantastic experience: Anna Turo at Bupa Castleford is an excellent dentist, far better than others I have experienced. Her technique and communication skills put you completely at ease. I'm no longer hesitant to go to the dentist! On top of that, the reception and Bupa's online and booking systems are very good too. I can't fault them at all.

2 years ago Negative experience: I’ve been going to the dentist for a number of years but recently I have been really unhappy with the service. Trying to phone is virtually impossible. They never answer. Plus I am concerned they are saying I need work when I don’t. Getting me in all the time for hygienist and check ups at £70 a go. I’m quite concerned. I’m going to get a 2nd opinion.

2 years ago Fantastic experience: Great communication from the start via emails and texts about my appointment, created an online account to fill in my medical details, upon arrival was greeted by the friendly professional reception staff. Lovely warm greeting from the dental nurse for my first appointment with the hygienist Lori, very welcoming and professional from start to finish and made to feel at ease , well looked after. Then onto my dental check up with the dentist Kena, again supported by the very professional attentive nurse Sheryl. Overall service from start to finish was brilliant.

2 years ago Fantastic experience: I had to visit Bupa Dental Care Castleford today, an Emergency appointment. I cannot rate the Dental Practitioner Anna, highly enough. From a simple extraction, it became a surgical extraction. It was pain free. Anna was marvellous. Thank you too, to her Assistant Heidi & also to Caroline at Reception. Excellent Customer Service. I would highly recommend.
